Nice Apartments

This hotel delivered on so many levels. It lived up to the reviews and its 5 star rating. The staff were highly attentive and quick to resolve issues. Our hotel room had a beautiful view of the sea. The bed was comfy. Great hairdryer (it's important). The breakfasts were wonderful. The concierge was so helpful we were able to set our agenda and get amazing recommendations. It started with the gentleman that checked us in. All the amenities were also wonderful. (too cold for the outdoor pool. The room was a generous size as well. Great location on the Promenade.

We have had an amazing stay. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. I was contacted a couple of days prior to our stay, because there was an issue with the payment. This mistake was completely my fault, but the hotel was very helpful and nice and we solved it in the end. When we arrived we were so fortunate to have been upgraded, despite the hassle I brought to the hotel, with the payment error. The room was amazing, and clean, and when we checked out we received a little parting gift of lavender in a pouch. The hotel is very centrally located, and I would definitely visit again! The bathroom partition in the room is very poor, the shower bathroom is full of water, the four-star hotel only provides paper cups, it is easy to rot the store, and it will not help to change the initiative overnight, the bathroom hair dryer is very old and faulty. The water output of the shower head is very small. The quality of the bed is medium. The breakfast quality is medium, probably only Samsung. I had to iron my shirt in the morning because I had to attend an important occasion, that is, I chose this hotel because I saw that the hotel had this service. When I arrived at the ironing room, none of the two irons could be used. At that time, it was about 8:00. I responded to the hotel about this matter and said that I needed to go out to attend important occasions at 10:00. They said they would deal with it and notify me. At about 8:40, I will ask again. The counter told me that the repair staff would not come until 9:00, and said they would call me again. When I waited until 9:30, there was no audio. I called the counter again. They said that they would reply to my situation in 2 minutes. The result was not returned. I called back again. This time it was more exaggerated and I didn't answer my phone at all. It didn't answer until 9:45. I rushed downstairs to prepare my shirt, and it was fine, and when it went down, an iron with a large rusty print was printed directly on my white shirt, and ruined my whole shirt, for there was no time, and I could only go to the hotel counter and tell them to tell me before I came back What they were going to do about it, and after I came back in the evening, there was no audio, as if there was nothing at all. I just took my shirt and asked them to deal with it. If it was something I would not claim. The next morning, when I went to get the shirt, they washed the shirt, but the obvious print was still on it, the counter told me that it was 15 euros to wash one, not my money. When I heard it, I was really mad. Did you figure out the situation? Is it their hotel iron that broke my shirt, making me look like a Okee who asked someone to do my laundry for free? The counter also told me that they had changed the iron in the last two weeks. Although they could not be verified, it was really outrageous. I came to see that iron later, and it was not like it had only been used for two weeks. Finally, after the counter manager came out, I was willing to compensate my shirt for 40 euros. Because the shirt itself had been depreciated, I didn't pursue it again, otherwise it was not only this value. The overall service feels very poor, the equipment is also very backward, and I will never stay again.

Super location within walking distance to just about everything. Nice acknowledgment of platinum IHG status by getting upgraded to 7th floor executive room with what sounds like more space than a standard. Beautiful view of Nice’s architecture. Appreciated the bathrobes! Even an iron with ironing board. Windows opened for plenty of fresh air. Hotel seemed full but was never overly busy, especially elevators. Front desk staff very helpful. A big terrace at the front of the hotel has a good combo of shade/sun. Guests can have breakfast, lunch (i think) or drinks out there, tho dinner was not being served while we were visiting. Our only suggestion is to offer 2 standard levels of breakfast; the 20-euro buffet gets to be a bit much if staying for several days. We asked for a coffee and croissant option which the dining staff agreed to give us for 10 euros apiece. But it would be more comfortable to have a standard continental breakfast offered that didn’t need to be negotiated. We don’t need so many calories at breakfast!

We stayed here in July. Booked two rooms - a superior room facing the promenade and a regular room with a city view. The sea facing room had a fantastic view but very tiny. The regular room was on the 5th floor. Had views of the mountains/hills and was massive. I was so worried prior to checking in given the bad reviews here. I noticed though that for some reason most Nice hotels have bad reviews! I had nothing to worry about at all. We arrived before 2PM and had our room right away. No issues with rude staff whatsoever. And no noise issues with the sea-facing room either. The only issue is it's a bit of a walk to the Old Town and the train station (uphill and doing this twice a day is quite tiring). But seriously I was in Nice for a week and I don't think I'll trade his hotel for any other hotel. Nice, further up closer to the train station, wasn't quite as ”charming and lovely” as having views of the promenade.

A++++ for customer service, honestly for the entire stay. I’ve stayed at hotels all over the world and the team at DoubleTree Iconic was by far the best I’ve experienced. I didn’t even look at reviews for this hotel, which is not common for me and I was blown away by everything. This was our first time in France and we had planned to stay at the DoubleTree Iconic first and another hotel closer to Monaco. Our stay at DoubleTree Iconic set the tone for our entire trip. Maurizio assisted us from the beginning, and went above and beyond every time we saw him. He was helpful in ways that we weren’t expecting. We were traveling with our 3 month old baby and he upgraded us so that we can have more space and it was much appreciated. He even created a world traveler passport for our baby, which was so adorable and thoughtful. I wanted to give him a hug before we left because he was so amazing. The hotel is beautiful, as soon as you step foot in the lower lobby the smell is extremely inviting. The elevator to the main lobby is super stylish, and the lobby is very welcoming. Whoever designed the hotel, kudos to them. Every detail from the rooms, to the bathrooms, the hallways, to the bar, restaurant, rooftop, everything was well thought out and immaculate. The location was very convenient and central. The hotel is next to a supermarket which came in handy for us. This was hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed at EVER and I truly cannot wait to go back and visit the property during our next trip to Nice. The hotel was fine, check in was smooth and hassle free, just as the check out. The Receptionist at check out (Silvia) was very helpful and managed to pull my Marriott Bonvoy subscription although I didn't have my membership card number with me, unfortunately as my booking was done by travel agency, I didn't get the points for that stay (5 days) 😔😕. The rooms were quite spacey, shower was decent but no bathtub (not a big deal) but there were a balcony which was a plus 😍 In room : Biggest problem was the Air conditioning (stuck at 24 C) we were told that this was as per regulations for EU power consumption. And there were no Iron as well. Breakfast was quite OK for me, but I have seen much better in 5 Star hotels. The location of restaurant with sea view was wonderful. The Bar was just next to reception desk... At night it was very loud (one can hardly hear a conversation with his fellows once passing by that area) also the smell was not favorable (specially if you are not into alcoholic beverages ). Elevators were not fully operational, and at certain times one had to wait for 5 minutes to get into it. All in all the stay was pretty good and I enjoyed it a lot

We stayed at the hotel for three nights prior to joining a cruise from Monaco. We arrived at Nice Airport and used the metro to get into the city. There is a stop very close to the hotel which is very convenient. Our room was ready on arrival and we could use it immediately….excellent! Staff very helpful! The room was on a corner of the third floor with city views. It had two French windows which gave a breeze. The room had a comfortable bed, great bathroom with large shower, good toiletries and plenty of towels… There was a tv, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. Reasonable storage…but not really needed for a short stay. Room was compact, but really lovely and quiet. The hotel breakfast was also good. We didn’t have included breakfast but did buy it one morning and enjoyed it. Hotel is well situated …walk to the Promenade des Anglais in one direction and the station in the other. Very easy to get around . Places for breakfast and dinner nearby. Highly recommend the hotel! A very enjoyable stay ….would recommend.

Loved the view from the room and rooftop! Me and my bf stayed for 3 nights last week. Was amazing! All the staff were very kind and helpful. The most enjoyable part was the view while we were having breakfast at the top floor. Breakfast buffet was ok and they serving dinner in the same room as well.

A fantastic hotel with many great activities. The hotel has a fantastic location nearby the airport l'm not very far from the City Center, Radisson Blu Nice has its own pool and beach satisfy all your needs whether you like a calm family, friendly beach, or a pool with a fresh drinks and the restaurant.
