Was charged additional $50 for checking in after 10pm, and if didn’t agree that means I would have had to wait till the next morning for check in at 7am. Had no choice cause of the flight timing and wrote in to update that we would be late and asked for a special request - no acknowledgement from them either. Was allocated a unit much further behind. Extremely disappointed as the place was nice but things like this ruin the experience. You’ve been warned.
The place is clean and spacious, the service attitude is good, and the food quality is first-class. However, the shuttle bus was 20ms late and the facilities were not complete enough.
Very satisfied with this hotel. This trip was very convenient as we chartered a car. The only regret is that the mountain was completely covered by clouds. There is a supermarket not far from the hotel where you can buy everything you need. The hotel provides breakfast, red wine, beer, drinks and water, as well as hand-ground coffee and tea bags, etc. If you want to have BBQ, remember to make an appointment with the hotel in advance, as it is not available at the last minute.
We spent 1 night at this lovely property and wished we have stayed longer!
The property is located at the north side of the lake, surrounded by trees, bushes and flowers. You can see Mt Fuji at the front of the reception and a fantastic view of the mountain at the lake side which is just 3 minutes walk from the property. The property manager provided a lot of useful sightseeing tips to us. The sight of Mt Fuji at sunrise was beautiful.
The property does not provide meals, but there are food trucks at the front of the property selling ramen for dinner and sandwiches for breakfast. We had their breakfast sandwiches that use local vegetable produce which were so fresh and tasty. The onsen at the property was a plus point.
Overall a very lovely property with nice people, cats and great views!

The location is great with a great view of Mount Fuji. Although there is a house blocking the front of the yard, the slope of the roof of the house and the slope of Mount Fuji form a perfect picture. Beautiful parallel lines, a very unique perspective, very impressive. Mountain and lake views can be seen from both the first and second floors. I was so lucky that I saw Mount Fuji in the changing clouds and the lake as beautiful as a fairyland in the morning. Sitting in the room having breakfast and admiring Mount Fuji, it was really pleasant.
The villa area is right next to the lake, and you can see the stunning panoramic view of Mount Fuji. Take a walk around the lake and there are some very exquisite shops and coffee shops.
The service is very good, the bathroom is cleaned every day, and a convenient time to enter the room is determined in advance, which is considerate. The room is well-equipped with welcome snacks. Due to the heavy snowfall the day before, the highway was closed and we took the national highway. It was already 8:30 when we arrived, and the staff was still waiting patiently for us and explaining the use of the room facilities in detail. It feels wonderful.
Next time I go to Lake Kawaguchi, I hope to book another room and enjoy Mount Fuji from a different perspective.
I really like this hotel because of the location and how clean it is and I recommend this hotel for somebody that would like to stay in a hotel that is next to Mount Fuji
Received the instructions to check in days before our stay, and instructions are super clear.
The house is very clean, and comes with everything we need - stove, washer and other basics. Ground floor is the living hall and bathroom, upstairs there’s one bedroom and outer area where are floor bed are placed.
We went there with average temperature of 4 degrees so the floor were freezing cold and it took a while to activate the heat.
Location wise pretty good, right opposite there’s a 7-11, and down the street 10-15 mins walk there’s the Hikawa Clock Shop, but we don’t see any restaurant nearby maybe because we were there during New Year closure

AAnonymous UserThe facilities in the cabin are complete. Although it rained the night we arrived, I woke up in the morning and saw Mount Fuji. The scenery was very beautiful. I will book this hotel again when I travel to Lake Kawaguchi again.

AAnonymous UserThe experience in this hotel is perfect!! The rooms are exactly the same with the official photos. We are so surprised when we get into the room. The house owners are very nice. They provided detailed restaurants and shops information about the district by sending us email. Free of charge bike renting service is also supplied.
It is a house of average Japanese family. There are two toilets and one bath room with bath tube. There are three super king size beds in total. Each can fits in two to three people or more. There is also an Tatami room for more bed spaces or luggages.
GGuest UserA relatively satisfactory stay. The hotel is a small villa with Mount Fuji view from every room. The owner is very nice and introduced the usage of various facilities one by one. Free shuttle service to Kawaguchiko Station and nearby supermarkets is also provided. The only drawback is that the nearest convenience store is a little far away, about 15 minutes walk, and there is no floor heating on the second floor. The temperature has dropped sharply in the past few days, and it snowed. The room is not particularly warm, but it is not cold either. A set of ordinary pajamas is enough.
AAngieI chose this place in Lake Kawaguchiko area as it was more affordable than hotels and it could fit my family of 5. The house could stay up to 7 though the bedrooms were smaller than expected. There is not much space to open luggages in the bedroom if staying at full capacity. There are 2 bathrooms though only one with sink and toilet. Bedrooms are on level 1 while the kitchen and living area were on level 2. Netflix was a plus since there was not much to do in the area at night. Overall a good stay!
KKritsanaratI booked Furaku-Cat. A compact house with nice location, you can see Fujisan from the balcony , there are amenity prepared , you can buy some food from supermarket or ingredient to cook , you can park a car infront of the house, a road to the house is quite small if you have a large type car please be careful when drive to the house.
*The kitchen and rest room in the second floor, if you have elderly that can’t climb up-down the stairs there might be hard when they want to go to toilet.
