Such a quaint Japanese home. Hot spring bath was huge and can fit more than 1 person. Comes with a huge parking lot...however the street leading to the villa was very narrow. It was a huge challenge for us with a 7-seater MPV.
・Conveniently located in a tourist area, it's convenient for sightseeing and shopping.
・Spacious enough for a family stay, we were able to relax.
・The large hot spring was next to the living room, and we were able to use it immediately after checking in. The bath was spacious and open, the temperature was just right, and it felt great.
・The kitchen had two burners and cooking utensils, so we were able to enjoy meals in the room.
We got the room called ”Forest Bath.” It was very clean, and the onsen was comfortably warm. The only downside was the view – a bamboo forest – which wasn't as impressive as expected. The kitchen was well-equipped with appliances: oven, microwave, dishes, pots, pans, and even a Dyson hairdryer. However, I found some of the facilities a bit strange. For example, there was only one shower room, and it was shared with the indoor onsen. So, if you weren't shy, you could shower while someone else was in the onsen. There was also only a glass partition between the shower room and the sink, so someone could clearly see someone showering while they were washing their face. Furthermore, there were two toilets, one upstairs and one downstairs, but neither had a sink inside. The upstairs toilet required going downstairs to wash hands, while the downstairs toilet required using the sink in the shower room. Those were the only issues. Otherwise, it was very convenient. You'll need to drive to supermarkets, and the road leading to the area isn't suitable for walking.
The house is huge and the view from it, and the garden in front, is magnificent. You can see the entire cozy town. The house is clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable and it has everything you need: a washing machine, hairdryer, stove, and kettle. We didn't receive check-in instructions and had to call the owner to clarify how to get in. The owner answered and was able to help us; we communicated in English. Important information: if you go down the stairs by the house and cross the road, you'll see a building with a thatched roof – that's a public mixed-gender Onsen. You can relax there for just 300 yen.

We fell in love with this villa on first sight! The pictures don’t do it justice at all. The surroundings and rooms are beautiful, and the entire property is newly renovated so it’s clean and modern. We appreciate how the host is generous to provide amenities and toiletries, which makes our stay even more memorable.
The bedding is comfortable, and the towels are also of good quality. Additionally, we also enjoyed the washer and dryer, so we can have fresh clean clothes daily! Very thoughtful indeed!
Overall, it’s an amazing stay at Sokaku Residence and we’ll highly recommend you to book a stay here!
Location is near supermarket and family mart. A few Coin parking locations near the house. First floor has 2 rooms <1 double bed and 1 with twin beds> but no space for luggages, a small washing basin at the corner of the staircase. 1 wc and 2 showers at first floor. Washing machine <no dryer> on the first floor. 1 wc on 2nd floor. Living room on 3 floor. 2nd floor has 2 rooms <1 with 2 double beds and 1 single bed, another with a single bed>. 2 washing basin on 2nd floor inside the rooms. It's not possible to bring big luggage up to narrow and steep staircase.no mirror on 1st floor so nid to climb up to wash and brush teeth. We wish the living room was the 1st floor. The music from nearby is bearable. Only know how to manage the water heater on 2nd day.
Suggestion to include rubbish bins on the first and 2nd floor. Add a mirror on first floor.

GGuest UserA family of eight lives here is great
Facilities are perfect
Hot springs and indoor and outdoor differences
Everyone can take a shower separately.
Those who want to soak for a little longer can stay outdoors
Very satisfied with this
There is a gas stove for use.
Buy something at the supermarket.
Can go back to the accommodation to cook
But it's a short distance from the shopping street.
It will be a bit scary to go back at night 😅
There is no convenience store nearby
I love the starry sky that I see outside the balcony at night
Very beautiful
I'll miss it so much.
