Room:
Booked the sea view room and the view was great albeit the sea view itself is at an angle but that's just how the resort is positioned.
The room had all the basic amenities needed. TV was a Smart TV with Netflix / Prime / YouTube etc.
Cleanliness could be improved as there were some dead insects under the bed - only noticed this a few moments prior to checkout so it otherwise didn't affect my stay but still, thorough housekeeping is a must.
As others have mentioned in reviews, the rooms get very humid for some reason (something to do with the AC). Was not a big deal for us but if you are spending a whole day getting wet in the pool or at the beach - don't expect to come back to a dry room.
Location:
Located on an inner road just off the main Ao Nang street, super convenient. 5 mins walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants around for all diets and a 7E right across the road. Couldn't ask for more.
Breakfast:
The buffet was decent, usual fare for buffet breakfasts. The pastries were particularly good (croissants hot out of the oven are a must). The buffet runs until 11AM so it's well suited for slower mornings.
Check in / Check out:
Very smooth - no hiccups. Gave us a welcome drink while preparing our keycards for check in. Receptionist was warm with plenty of smiles. Check-out was just a keycard dropoff, as simple as can be.
Overall:
Would definitely recommend this place due to its location, views and relatively affordable prices. Minus half a star for the humidity in the rooms and the cleanliness.

Had an absolutely brilliant time at this lovely hotel. All staff from check in to housekeeping were helpful and professional.
Room itself is very big and the shower is particularly impressive. Always had hot water and good water pressure. Daily housekeeping does a good job!
Although the hotel is a little far from the beach, there is a lot around in terms of food and shopping so you’ll never need to worry about needing anything. Room balcony is a big plus for smokers and peace.
Room service is truly divine and worth the cost! Also worth booking island tour through the hotel though I have to say would prefer private options with more time on the beach and for snorkeling.
My only complaints would be the pool is too shallow! I’m short and it was still too shallow for me. Also, it closes too early at 6pm.
Other than this, I totally enjoyed my stay. Thank you very much!
Overall hotel is very lovely, super clean and peaceful. We booked room with a pool access and didn’t like it at all. Everything was so worn out, shiny tiles on the floor made it look dirty all the time. Acoustics was horrible. Above us was an Asian family…… felt like 10 people there, they were screaming, laughing, running in the room until the late night and you can hear absolutely all! And the worst thing was a lot of insects on our bed - dead and alive, flying, scrolling. So first night was a nightmare….. but we managed to change it for a bungalow and it was absolutely lovely. Nice design, silent, very clean, no insects inside.
Food in the hotel restaurant is not the best. First evening we had there fried fish, they brought it fully covered in ketchup. One of the waitresses recognized Slav face in me and was constantly trying to speak in broken Russian with me and my husband, even after we said I am Ukrainian and my husband is Turkish, he doesn’t understand Russian and I don’t want to hear it. So we never ate there again.
But breakfast was very nice, not very wide variety, but all super fresh. absolutely lovely egg station. Somehow they manage to cook each type of eggs in the very delicious way.
Few words about beach and island itself. We traveled in the beginning of June and I was searching a lot of about life and activities on the island before coming….. couldn’t find much, so was relying on google maps showing a lot of bars and restaurants around. So, it is pretty frustrating, absolutely everything closed because it is a rain season. Beach looks very abandoned, only few hotels work, all other places look like people left in hurry and didn’t care about anything. In the storm beach is full of sharp glass and other trash and no one cleans it. You need to watch your step all the time. But I can imagine in the season and good weather it must be a very nice wide and still silent beach to walk.
Nature is absolutely crazy, so many birds, lizards, snakes and other living things even on the territory of the hotel. Also they are taking care about two lovely cats, so we were constantly buying them some treats and wet food.

The staff were lovely. The room was nice and the beds were very comfortable. Pool was great. The food in the restaurant was superb. Nothing to fault. I would recommend this hotel if you need to stay in Krabi town.
However next time if I stay in Krabi, I would stay on one of the beaches. Krabi town is not very appealing, but easy to travel to the beaches by public bus
(Songthaew) or taxi is fairly cheap.

Amazing! More than just a hotel, Adam was a true experience. Thanks to its incredible location and the outstanding service and care from the wonderful staff, my friends and I had the chance to truly immerse ourselves in the Krabi lifestyle and experience the warmth of Thai hospitality.
A peaceful, quiet, and relaxing resort by Khlong Dao Beach. We liked that it is an adult only place, and the location was perfect for excursions to neighoring islands as it is very close to two piers. A day trip to Four Islands and Phi Phi is highly recommended, and the resort offers various activity options at reasonable prices. Although the breakfast menu was mainly Western (we hardly saw any Asians staying at this resort), the food was nice and we particularly liked that they had a cold room to keep dairy items, veges, and fruits fresh! If you wanted to spend more time in actual Krabi, this resort may not work for you as it is on Koh Lanta island which is about 150mins away from Krabi International Airport.

We have always been a fan of Centara brand of hotels. We have stayed in Centara Anda Dhevi Aonang a few times and it never dissapoint. It is a nice hotel to stay, although the location of the hotel can be a bit far out from the Main Street area. It would be good if you have a car or bike to run about. Otherwise, the Main Street is about 20-30minutes walk one way. But it is away from the noise - bikes, boats, crowds. It is a charming hotel in the area of Aonang.

We stayed in the villa P123 on the ground floor. It has a decent sea view from the patio but is very close to the nail salon that blocks the view from the window.
there is a second unit above and the first night thw upstairs neighbors had kids that ran around the room a lot whuch was quite annoying, so maybe ask for an upstairs unit if you are sensitive to noise.
Everyone was very friendly except one receptionist. I can't remember his name, maybe Sun. He didnt smile or greet us when we arrived, just harshly put a clipboard in front of me and asked me to fill in the paperwork. It was a very bad introduction to the hotel and I was worried that we picked the wrong hotel. Fortunately, everyone else is quite nice. Not truly professional and some of the wait staff were a bit negelegent or got impatient during peak hour dinner service, but that is more understandable than the recption being so cold. we unfortunately had the same receptionist on check out and he was just as cold so i can't blame it on a bad day.
So the rest of the staff are nice and helps quickly when we asked about the airconditioner leaking and greeted politley whenever we passed, the other receptionists always look up and smile and said hello when we were in the area.
The breakfast was good and varied each day. the bed was comfortable and there was a double bed and single bed which was convenient for our family. thw room was cleaned daily at about 3pm. we only recieved clean towels on the first 2 days and the next 3 days our towels were not changed, not sure why.
the shower water was sometimes cold, we thought maybe because the power goes off whenever you leave yohr room (no alternative to this situation). then we thought maybe we share a geyser with the upstairs neighbors and they finished the water...couldnt figure it out
the air con worked but needed to be cleaned twice to continue working or it would leak heavily.
the location is ideal. only a small road separates you from the beach. the longtail boats to get to the othwr islands is nearby. the busy restaurant and bar street is close enough to shop at but not close enough to create noise and a diaturbance at night
the hotels restaurant food is better than most of the other places, though Le Medusa restaurant next door was our favorite.
the pool is beautiful, unfortunately closing early at 6pm.
I would stay in this hotel again and don't regret booking it. None of the issues were big enough to concern us, I just wanted to write a useful review.

I had a great experience staying at Centara! Check in was quick but we had to wait until after 3pm as our room was not ready yet. Room was comfortable and very spacious but a little noisy as we were facing the pool area, not really a problem for us. Buffet breakfast had some different variety each day and Ao Nang beach is right next to the hotel and a short walk to shops and restaurants around Ao Nang. Would recommend and will stay again next time!

A Mixed Honeymoon Experience at Pakasai Resort, Krabi 💚
My husband and I recently stayed at Pakasai Resort in Krabi for our honeymoon, spending 6 days and 5 nights in their charming Honeymoon Chalet (Room 423). While the resort’s eco-friendly concept and tranquil natural environment created a memorable stay, our experience was a mix of highs and lows due to varying levels of service.
On a positive note, we were thoroughly impressed by the outstanding hospitality of Hakim and Ibrahim, two staff members who truly went above and beyond. Hakim (the one who attached in photo with loved one) welcomed us warmly on our first night, providing fantastic recommendations for must-visit spots in Krabi, which really enhanced our trip. Ibrahim (didn’t get a chance to take a photo, he was on his off day during our last day in Pakasai) was equally helpful, especially when he assisted us with our heavy baggage to our chalet, located at the highest point of the resort. His suggestion to rent a bike in Krabi made exploring the area more enjoyable and convenient.
However, our experience at the front desk left us feeling disappointed and disrespected. After a tiring walk back from Aonang Landmark Night Market for 20 minutes, my husband and I were exhausted and thirsty. We decided to rest at the lobby and politely asked the receptionist named Pin, if we could have some water to drink. Her response was curt and dismissive: “Here don’t have water. If you want water, you can go to the restaurant to buy it,” she said, pointing to the restaurant without a smile.
As me and my loved one came with a background in hospitality, we found this interaction unprofessional and lacking in basic courtesy. What made it worse was witnessing her behavior toward other guests shortly after. When a few Western guests arrived, her demeanor completely changed—she greeted them warmly, with smiles and respect. This stark contrast made me question whether there was a double standard in how Asian and Western guests are treated.
Despite this incident, Pakasai Resort has much to offer, with its peaceful environment, eco-conscious practices, and the strong hospitality of most staff members. I would also like to kindly request that management recognizes Hakim and Ibrahim for their outstanding service, as their dedication truly made our stay memorable. Staff like them are an asset to the resort and should be rewarded for their exceptional efforts.
To Pakasai Resort management, I hope you can address inconsistencies in service to ensure every guest feels valued, respected, and welcomed equally.

GGuest UserExcellent hotel on the beach. The rooms, service and breakfast were pleasing. There are free kayaks, you can swim to the neighboring beaches. The hotel itself is located away from busy areas and shops. Therefore, you need to either take a bike, you can at the hotel, or buy everything you need in advance. Tuk-tuk does not go to this hotel, there are no taxis on the island. To get from the hotel to the north of the island you will need a hotel transfer. I liked the hotel, for a vacation for several days, in silence and almost no people on the beach.
GGuest UserThis hotel is quite outdated, needs a little refresh. It’s in a good location, a 5minute walk to the beach. The rooms are large, but the cleaning is not great, our room was never cleaned properly. The kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was good, though some guests get too handsy, putting you off (no fault of the hotel).

KKusumahadiWe have our fantastic stay in the resort. The room is spacious and clean. The facilitiy is absolutely great. 2 pools with different scenary, one hills and another one beach. Also a great value of money. Only one the flush in our room didn’t work well, but just minor. Overall, great resort and recommended.
GGuest UserFrom the moment I arrived, my experience at this hotel was nothing short of superb. The service was truly outstanding; every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with a genuine smile, making me feel genuinely valued as a guest. I even got upgraded into suites room.
The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. My room was spotless upon arrival and meticulously maintained throughout my stay. The common areas, too, were gleaming, reflecting a high standard of hygiene that put me completely at ease.
The facilities here are excellent and cater to every need. Whether it was the well-equipped fitness center, the refreshing pool, or the pickleball pitch, everything was well-maintained and contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
And finally, the breakfast deserves a special mention. It was an absolute delight! The variety of options, from fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes and local specialties, was impressive, and the quality of the food was consistently high. It was the perfect start to each day.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly exceptional stay where every detail is taken care of with the utmost care and professionalism. I can't wait to return!
GGuest UserAlready asked my husband when we can visit again! This was my favorite beach resort we have stayed at. Staff is so incredibly helpful and organized. Resort is beautiful. Pools were amazing and location was great!
Two things for others booking this resort:
- learning how to get here without using the resort’s pricy transfer service was tricky! We ended up booking a ferry to the island’s northern port and found they would drop us off directly at our resort. Round trip first class cost us less than half of the resort’s charter. We also hiked the trail to the main port. Be aware: this is not a trail you can take luggage on. It’s narrow, constantly changes elevation and super uneven.
- the food and drinks in the village right behind the resort is better and much cheaper.
