We had a pleasant stay at La Carmela de Boracay! The location is perfect—right by the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was clean and spacious, offering great value for the price. One of the nice touches was the free breakfast buffet—simple but satisfying, with enough variety to start the day right. A great option for families or groups looking for convenience, comfort, and affordability in Boracay. Would definitely stay here again!

Pros: close to Kalibo airport, the room was spacious and the bed is very comfortable.the natural wood was used for chairs and TV stand. The front desk staff are very professional and welcoming. Cons: old and shabby cupboard does not belong there.Slide shower door is loose and Mosquito net needs fixing.

They have many pools suitable for kids! Breakfast is ok. It gets too crowded around 6:45am. The location is great. They have lounge beds by the beach. The roundtrip transfers cost ₱1900 per adult and ₱1350 for children. You just need to contact the hotel directly. It’s very convenient!

If you value cleanliness don’t boon this hotel . Hair everywhere even on my “clean sheets “. I was so uncomfortable. The photos on the website aren’t current . The place isn’t maintained well. If you want to be close to everyone and everything book another hotel . It takes about 5 -8 minutes to get to the front gate and then about 10-15 minutes yo D mall two 150 PHP each way . The shuttle kinda makes sense. Maybe because I booked on trip.com I got two disgustingly old rooms before but then they gave me a better one . My disappointment started there . Water cane to my eyes when I entered the first room.I honestly was considering losing the money and go to another hotel. Staff is pleasant and helpful and always smiling . You think they have 10 different restaurant choices with their “no outside food rule “. Never ate at the restaurants I prefer my freedom . Breakfast wasn’t super delicious, so I didn’t risk the restaurants. Honestly I only booked because my friend recommended it . But it was a disappointment from I entered the room . Not even hand towels but I got water daily . It’s not the worst but definitely not the best. Breakfast is mid - same foods everyday . I enjoyed the foam party and the private beach. The property is big and loads of chill spots . I just wished the upkeep was better. Check out is a hassle. Too many paperwork . At check in the list of rules was a turn off . I felt like a kid entering a dorm room .

Hotel was nice, a big pool in the center and another roof top pool with a Bar. right on the ocean with plenty of restaurants and bars. I am not sure what to compare it to as this was my first travel to the area the level of the rooms, and hotel was decent and good, everything was clean and enjoyable. It wasn't high end resort. Staff was super nice and friendly.

Stay dates: August 2–4, 2025 | Room 541 We stayed at Henann Lagoon from August 2 to 4, 2025, in room 541. One evening, I ordered room service consisting of a salmon steak, a Henann salad, and two bottles of San Miguel Light. I was shocked to discover, after eating just three bites of the salad, that there was a rusty old screw under the lettuce. I immediately called the staff to report the issue. The server came to clean up and saw the screw himself, but he did not apologize. He only said he would check with the kitchen. What’s more disappointing is that no one from the hotel followed up with us during the rest of our stay — no apology, no explanation, not even a mention of the incident. It is deeply concerning to encounter such a basic and dangerous mistake in a hotel that’s part of a well-known chain. That said, aside from this issue, the rest of our experience was good. The buffet breakfast was excellent, though I avoided eating any more salad afterwards. Special mention to the kimchi — it was delicious.

Excellent private beachfront resort, clean shoreline, perfect for snorkeling and lots of sunbeds to relax. Large pool and have 3 restaurants inside the resort. Has free shuttle service going to D’mall. Cleanliness of the resort including restrooms near the pool is excellent. Buffet breakfast is good with lots of choices to choose from. My daughter love the chocolate hour too. Excellent service from airport pickup until checkout. All staffs are friendly. Thank you Mövenpick for the wonderful stay!

Boracay Ocean Beach Club exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff's warm hospitality and efficiency set a welcoming tone. The resort itself is a stunning oasis, beautifully landscaped and impeccably maintained. Our room was spacious, clean, and offered breathtaking ocean views – waking up to that vista each morning was truly special. The pool area was a highlight, providing a relaxing escape with comfortable loungers and attentive service. We enjoyed the delicious food at the resort's restaurants, with fresh, flavorful dishes and a range of options to suit every taste. The location is perfect, offering easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. Overall, our stay at Boracay Ocean Beach Club was an unforgettable experience, a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and exceptional service. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing Boracay getaway.

Quiet at night, excellent location to get to the action of the west beaches, or the chilled vibes of the east. Located on the main road, it has access to plenty of shops and restaurants. Rooftop pool is nice, but closes at 6pm. The 2nd floor pool is bigger, very relaxed, and well shaded for those that tend to burn like myself. Staff were all wonderful, and some of the most friendly Filipinos we met during our whole trip. THat helps make the day great when they are the first and last people you see, right? We would definitely stay there again. We opted for the private pool as well, but it felt a little bit boxed in. Nice to have, but not really a necessity.

It is a good choice for 3 stations for a quiet journey. Very good service from personnel, settled earlier, gave a chain of shells and brought a welcome drink. There is a café for breakfast and dinner. The room was good, a little old repair. Walked about 2 stations and did not like a large number of people. I'm a traveling girl alone, felt safe.

HHaydarSavoy Hotel Boracay Newcoast is a four-star establishment located in the Newcoast area of Boracay. Opened in 2017, the hotel offers 559 chic rooms, two large swimming pools, and access to a 295-meter private white sand beach. Guests have praised its serene location, away from the crowded main stations, providing a more private and relaxing experience. The hotel also offers amenities such as a fitness center, spa, and multiple dining options, including the Savoy Café. A standout feature of the hotel is its staff, particularly an employee named Maddie. Multiple guests have highlighted Maddie’s exceptional service in their reviews. Another review titled “Thanks Maddie” reflects appreciation for her attentive service. Additionally, a guest at the Savoy Café mentioned, “Maddie is the best,” indicating her positive impact in the dining area. Overall, the combination of the hotel’s amenities and the exceptional service provided by staff members like Maddie contributes to a memorable and enjoyable stay at Savoy Hotel Boracay Newcoast.

PParsa BarhaghiThis hotel was on the far side of Boracay island offering a comfort stay and large rooms. The service of the hotel could be improved by simplifying the process. We arrived at 2:30pm and after 15 minutes of check in process, they informed us our room was not available till 3pm. We went to the beach and came back around 6pm and were given a room we did not book. The hotel did their best to make up for it by offering a 30 minute foot massage to both of us. After waiting for our appointment time, we found that they had double booked and we had to move our appointment to the next day. The breakfast was good and included an omelette bar with lots of choices of food. Our checkout process took about 15 minutes as well. The delays in check in / check out were my biggest issue with the hotels. It seemed there was too many staff involved in each one, upper management needs to allow the front desk staff helping the guest take care of the guests check in/check out quickly by themselves.

CCallum TOverall a disappointing stay with Crimson. It started off bad and really never improved sadly. Our flight into Caticlan was delayed 5 hours, arriving at 19:30. I was in communication with Crimson throughout the delay updating them on our progress and estimated arrival time. They had warned me that they don’t organise transfers after 8pm. However, upon arrival they had left us to transit to the hotel via a third party provider. This provider was fine, and did their job, but it was a transfer that involved stopping at 3 other hotels - very much not the private 5 star experience we had been promised, taking 1 hour and a half. The fact they did not wait until 8pm, when other resorts were prepared and waiting, was a big disappointment. The transfer was eventually provided for free after our experience - which to be honest is the bare minimum. It’s insane I even had to pay for the transfer considering most 5 star hotels would provide this for free. Whilst the rooms were fine, the service was extremely disappointing throughout. Check-in took ages, and for some reason there is no aircon in anywhere outside the restaurants and rooms, so we were stuck sweating after an 8 hour journey whilst waiting the 30 minutes to check in. Additionally, every single request we made was either ignored or took ages. I had requested decorations in the room to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, but received nothing. I managed to get things organised whilst there, but after requesting matches to light a candle, these never arrived. Add on the fact we would have to request water multiple times before any showed up and it was all just very frustrating. We had booked a sea view room, but were unable to fully enjoy it as it was located directly in front of the infinity pool, with guests able to see directly into the privacy of our bedroom due to the lack of any noticeable tinting on the windows. The rooms were also not soundproofed, and we had to wake up early every day to the sounds of screaming children using the pool in front of our room. No amenities were on offer - no access to water bottles without requesting or paying, no access to coffee without paying, no welcome or departure drinks, no free water on the beach (which is seriously just dangerous). Crimson certainly has a 5 star beach and sea. The access to the beach is superb and the sand and sea were typically excellent, but it’s not as if Crimson has control over these things. In fact despite the environmental fee, I regularly saw some litter in the sea and on the beach. It felt very budget in the way they treat you. There are shuttles to the centre but these run almost every 3 hours and are often packed, offered on a first come first serve basis. Every little thing is charged too. For a check out at 12pm instead of 11am, it’s 2000PHP. There’s no way to charge anything to rooms to pay upon check out (like every other hotel) if you do not have a credit card. Debit cards are no good for the deposit apparently. We just stayed at Piece Lio in El Nido, which was far far far superior. It’s a real shame because Crimson does not do service to a terrific sea and stunning location. It may be the most modern 5 star hotel on the island but honestly just pay the extra and go to the Shangri-La. It’s almost as if they knew how bad it was. We weren’t even asked how our stay was upon checking out, as if they were dreading the answer. It felt like an American diner leaving, where they just wanted us out the room as quickly as possible to make space for their next cash cow. We even arrived at the airport 3 hours early for a domestic flight for some reason.

GGuest UserOur stay at the hotel had many positive aspects, but unfortunately, the overall experience was not satisfactory. Let me start with the good points: the rooms were clean, bright, and beautifully designed. The breakfast was excellent, and the facilities—such as the gym, kids' club, spa, and swimming pools—were impressive. The location is also amazing. However, two major issues overshadowed these positives and would prevent me from returning. Events and Weddings: During our 3-night stay, events disrupted our experience on 2 nights. On the first day, the rooftop infinity pool was closed to all hotel guests due to a private event. It felt unfair—having a beautiful pool but being unable to use it because it was rented out to someone else. On the third day, half of the beach area was occupied by a wedding setup, and loud music could be heard from our room until 10 PM. This made it impossible to relax on the balcony or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of a 5-star resort. Instead, it felt like being at a nightclub. The noise was particularly frustrating because we were traveling with a 2.5-year-old child who usually goes to bed at 8:30 PM but couldn’t sleep until 10 PM due to the loud music. After the wedding ended at 10 PM, the staff began cleaning and moving equipment back to the building, creating significant noise until 11:45 PM. This happened repeatedly, with loud sounds every 15 minutes (Unfortunately, I cannot upload videos to give an idea of the noise experience due to size limitations, but I’ve included screenshots below). For a hotel charging over $300 per night, this level of disturbance is unacceptable. Service Speed and Quality: The service was consistently slow and inconsistent. Simple requests, like asking for ice to be delivered to our room, took up to an hour. At the beach restaurant, it took 15-20 minutes just to receive a menu, even after asking multiple times. There were also mix-ups, such as being brought a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc instead of the Chardonnay we ordered. While the hotel has many great features, the lack of consideration for guests during events and the poor service quality significantly impacted our experience. For the price paid, we expected much better.
