Machchafushi Island Resort & Spa Maldives, the Centara Collection
4.7/5103 Reviews
Putting aside the price, when talking about the one-island-one-hotel model in the Maldives, every hotel has a five-star rating! ...Central Grande’s seaplane ✈️ experience, deep snorkeling to observe the underwater world and fish schools, large buffet restaurant service, and full transfer to and from the island are all very satisfying! I hope Ctrip will pay attention to solving a small problem: why is the three-day all-inclusive package for hotels booked directly through Ctrip less free items than the four-day all-inclusive package booked through other agencies? The hotel explained that there are differences in services between the two all-inclusive packages.
Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa

It's a great resort. The facilities are not very luxurious, but they are very thoughtful and have everything you need. The water house also has a jacuzzi, which is very enjoyable. The scenery is great, and you can see a lot of things while snorkeling. You can usually see small sharks on the beach while walking around the resort. At this accommodation price, it is a perfect experience. There are very few Chinese people here. I saw two on the first day on the island, but none after that. They were basically European. I brought my family with me for vacation🏖️. The employees were very nice. There was a Chinese-speaking teacher on the first day on the island. My sister helped me check in, but I didn't see him for the next few days. Fortunately, I was able to play well with my loose English. In short, if the budget is limited, this resort is definitely the best choice. You can stay for a few more days. The scenery and services will not be discounted. I will go again if I have the opportunity!
Ari Grand Hotel & Spa

This hotel stood out amongst others on Dhangethi. The staff, particularly Dilshawn the waiter, the chef, and Axxanu were friendly and worked tirelessly. The breakfast selection was adequate but chef was always happy to cook omelettes to order. The only complaint was that food wasn’t hot, just lukewarm. Investment in proper hot plates rather than candles would be a good idea. For dinner there was always a choice of a fish dish, a meat dish, rice, pasta and often a potato dish as well as soup, salad and fresh vegetables. Again temperature of the food was the only issue. We were asked to use beach towels for two days but sometimes felt they had been dried and returned to us rather than always washed. We stayed for 12 nights and were surprised the bedding wasn’t changed during that time. Our room was spacious with a lovely jacuzzi bath and great air conditioning.Good unlimited WiFi connection which was a bonus. We certainly plan on returning and feel Ari Grand offers good value for money
Villa Park Sun Island Resort

We had a wonderful vacation! It took a long time to get there, after an overnight flight we sat for more than 4 hours at Male airport and waited for a domestic flight. Then another boat ride. The service was excellent, all the staff tried their best. There was a huge abundance of food, we had all inclusive, and we could neither eat nor drink in such quantities, next time we will take half board. The cocktails on all were not impressive at all. We had sunset fishing included, but it was raining that day, and the trip was cancelled. We also did not use the free canoe. We had our own masks, we swam great, looked at the fish. We saw manta rays and rays and many other fish. There is Russian-speaking staff. There are many Russians among the guests. Nice spa, though very expensive. At first we lived in a beach villa, on the side of the water villas. It was a modest room, although everything we needed was there; I was delighted by the wonderful tropical vegetation against the backdrop of the ocean. On this side of the island it is very shallow, although during the day there are high tides, and then it is deeper. But swimming was still wonderful! Then we moved to a water villa, and were absolutely delighted!   When we wanted depth, we went swimming to the other side of the island. We used aqua socks and hydro-shirts, you can easily get burned even in the water. Overall, it was a great, unforgettable vacation!
Fiyavalhu Resort Maldives
4.3/550 Reviews
Honestly, we had one of our best vacations ever! The Fiyavalhu Resort's personnel provided great services to us and made as feel really special. We stayed at a nice villa, which was in great condition and well equipped, it also provided us privacy and quietness. The food was nice, but not great. I would recommend to have more options for fruits and vegetables, other than that the seafood was very good. The whole resort is very well maintained and stuff is taking great care of its condition. Do not read negative comments on internet - I can guarantee you that they are not honest and genuine. I would recommend it Fiyavalhu 100%!
Conrad Maldives Rangali Island
4.4/550 Reviews
Our family of 4 made their last stop at Conrad and stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast is rich, Chinese, Japanese, and European are more selective, compared to Paradise Island and Bandos Island. There is also a Chinese restaurant, the service is super good and the price is cheap. Relatively few people here, a little quieter, suitable for vacation. The island's water is extremely blue, with several colors of blue. The only disadvantage is that Shuifei is a bit expensive, 590USD per adult. Undersea restaurant 220USD / person.
NH Maldives Kuda Rah Resort
4.6/558 Reviews
Very good. My daughter and I both think this is the best hotel on this trip. The price-performance ratio is also very high. The food in the restaurant is very delicious. The only downside is that there is a waiter in the restaurant who has been courteous and does not want tips, but asks us to buy him a hookah. After we refused, he went to buy it himself and signed our room. When we checked out, we found this matter and communicated with the hotel. The hotel will refund the money to us.
Outrigger Maldives Maafushivaru Resort
4.8/548 Reviews
The Outrigger and Kuoni reps at Malé airport made for a seemless and stress free journey. They simply took care of everything and guided us through the airport each way to and from the seaplane process. The exceptional care and attention to detail started on arrival, through to final Security on departure. We stayed in an over-water villa with pool and it is highly recommended: the pool is a definite advantage. We stayed in Room 332, at the end of the jetty and whilst not advertised as a 'sunset room', it most certainly had a fabulous view of the beautiful sunsets. The villa is beautifully appointed and cleverly designed. In common with all of the resort, the villa is kept in first class condition. The daily room cleaning and the downturn service are faultless and attentive. The easy access to the ocean is a great advantage and the water is crystal clear and a perfect temperature, although the depth can vary through the day and we found it calmer (less breeze) in a morning; but afternoons are hardly tricky at all, simply our preference. A massive and surprising advantage: there were no flies or mozzies anywhere! The entire Outrigger team is fabulous. They have a clever use of first names, that are remembered. (They clearly circulate a snap of you taken at the airport!) The take-away memory is that all of the 200 staff in the resort smile constantly! But they all genuinely cared and with a maximum of some 170 guests, the team is plentiful to provide the first class service. Our dedicated 'Host' was Moosa and nothing was too much trouble for him. He set up a WhatsApp group for us and him when we arrived and anything we needed or enquiry we had was responded to without delay. The beaches are picture perfect: they are raked constantly (as are the paths throughout the resort) and the sand is white, so fine it is more like a soft paste or flour. We had 'Dine All Around' (basically fully inclusive) and it is certainly far better value than 'pay as you go' unless all you want are the Sommelier wines. When we arrived our Host, Moosa, had pre-booked all of our dinner reservations and, whilst we could have asked for changes, these proved well planned. (We overheard some guests not being able to reserve the restaurant they wanted by attempting the book on the day.) The restaurants are sensational. The Executive Chef, Chris Long, has done a fine job of ensuring that each has its defined menu and theme whilst maintaining a consistency of excellence. All food we had was excellent: food quality, dish variety, product freshness, presentation and above all, taste and preparation. We were never disappointed. At breakfast, we resolved to eat a different breakfast each day and none disappointed, even my Sri Lankan curry! The drinks and cocktails on offer were also excellent. There is a great variety, with excellent labels and unexpectedly good World wines. We booked the private island, Lonubo, for a sunset BBQ. It was about $2,000 for
Lily Beach Resort and Spa - All Inclusive
4.7/552 Reviews
The hotel is not bad, an all-inclusive island, and I have been on vacation for the second time. All with friends. The hotel facilities are a bit old, I heard that renovations will start next year. You must bring enough tips. The hotel staff on this island generally have a better attitude towards white people, but only you can tip enough. Every night is a buffet mode, but there are different national-themed delicacies every day, and there are many and rich things. The price is once when you eat in a high-end restaurant, and there are three free trips or projects. We went to the local residents island, it is not recommended to go, it is not fun at all and not very good. Seaplanes are charged in US dollars, and overweight will also add money. The hotel toiletries are very average. It is recommended to bring some by yourself, including the snacks in the room, which are not very delicious. Buying things in shops on the island is very expensive, and they are all priced in US dollars. Diving equipment can be taken for free, but it is not very good, and you can bring it home.
