I took a picture of the breakfast. It was relatively clean, the staff was very polite, and it really didn't feel like it had any special features. It should be a hotel with several rooms connected together. The Oxford area is relatively cool, and there is no air conditioning in the rooms, but there is heating, and fans are provided in the cabinets. There are no slippers, but plastic cups are provided. We booked a 20-square-meter room with 2 beds and a desk. There is no space for the suitcases after unfolding them. There is a restaurant as shown in the picture. The breakfast is okay. I like the roasted mushrooms very much. There are boxed yogurt and milk. The houses in Oxford are relatively expensive. I think the location is average. It takes more than 20 minutes to walk to the recommended popular attractions. It feels that it is so expensive (weekends + peak season) and it is not worth spending 3,000. Very comfortable. There is a large lawn outside the window. It is refreshing to look at it! The check-in process was very fast. They also helped my Chinese friend who did not speak English to connect to the WiFi. Seeing that I was always helping to translate, they grabbed several welcome chocolates for me. Then the bed legs in my friend's room were unstable, so the science department arranged to change the room. They also gave each of us a bar drink and snack voucher to express their apology. And their restaurant is very attentive. It is a 5-minute drive from the train station and Oxford University, which is very convenient.

I use many different hotels on a monthly basis however this was my first visit at this hotel. I want to congratulate the team at holiday inn Oxford as I had an enjoyable stay and everything was clean and tidy. I was greeted with a warm welcome and although the hotel was busy the staff were very accommodating.The bar staff were very friendly but I would like to especially mention Lauren who served me with a smile and was very efficient considering how busy the bar was. Thank you for an enjoyable experience and I hope to return soon (14/10/22)

The hotel is in a quiet location. We were placed in another building, but the air conditioner was broken. The hotel placed an electric heater, so the room was not cold. There was an electric towel rail. The floor was carpeted, but the floor felt uneven. There were two rooms very close to each other through an outer door, and the sound insulation was slightly poor. I could hear clearly when someone opened the door in another room in the early morning.

Obviously I didn't book a barrier-free room. I didn't take a shower and the entire bathroom was wet. I almost slipped. The sheets were laid out randomly, the pillows were uncomfortable, and the mattress was too soft. The hygiene was okay. Outside the room is a river and a castle

We enjoyed the carvery at Hilton Garden Inn Abingdon this weekend. We were a party of 10, with ages ranging from late teens to early 80s. The hotel is lovely, with a warm welcome on arrival from the staff at reception. We sat in the bar for a while as we waited for all of our party to arrive. The bar is welcoming and comfortable and the drinks reasonably priced. At 12:30 we made our way to the restaurant and waited for a while to be seated. This was our first visit to the carvery and it would have been useful for a member of staff to explain the process to us - but we watched what other customers were doing and followed suit. The 3 course lunch is all self service and drinks are obtained from the bar. For starter there was a choice of soup with homemade bread and salad with cold meats. I had the salad and it was very nice, especially the potato salad which was delicious. The carvery was fantastic. With a choice of pork, beef and chicken, potatoes, cauliflower cheese, mixed vegetables and Yorkshire puddings. Unfortunately some of the serving platters were empty when we got there and we had to wait a while for them to be refilled. I imagine this was due to the sitting starting at 12:30 so an immediate rush of people. The beef was absolutely delicious, as were the potatoes and the Yorkshire puddings were truly scrumptious. I understand from one of my guests that the chicken was perfection. The vegetables were undercooked for my taste but the cauliflower cheese was lovely. We had a really great meal. There were a few improvements that could be made to improve the experience but nothing to put me off going back for another family birthday in a few weeks time.

The staff were friendly and check-in/check-out was smooth. The location was convenient, right off the highway. While it's not a luxury hotel, it served its purpose well as an affordable and practical option for an overnight stay. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a basic but comfortable place to rest during a road trip

Main course was a unique aubergine dish - something out of the ordinary - and it was wonderfully prepared. I’ve eaten at The Alice for dinner as well as tea, and now I know that banquets are as delicious as the restaurant.

The Location of the hotel is perfect for sight seeing and exploring Oxford you can easily get to most of the main attractions in less then a 5 mins walk. We stayed for 2 nights and only opted for the breakfast once personally I wouldn’t bother it was bad. Head to the covered market instead

Booked two rooms, one accessible. Staff at reception were more than helpful throughout our stay. Accessible room was very good for our quite elderly companion. I was less than thrilled dragging suitcases across the square, then up some stairs, unlocking door #1, down some stairs to lift, upstairs to door #2 and a landing and then through a series of swinging doors to arrive at door#3. Subsequent trips without suitcases were fine. Room was large, clean and held no pretensions of anything but practicality. Bathroom was large, very well lighted and clean. I liked the nearness of a couple nice restaurants just through a passageway on the square and all four of us loved the excellent breakfast. Our biggest complaint was the spotty Wi-Fi which forced repeated log ins. We wanted a place that was walking distance to the Ashmolean and convenient to services. Rewley House met the requirements. And once more, the staff at reception were very competent and quite kind.

Stayed with 3 friends for one night whilst attending a concert. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn't find fault with anything. The hospitality was spot on, the lovely gentleman that greeted us was so pleasant, the 3 bed room was perfectly suited to our needs and the beds so comfortable, we all had a great nights sleep. We sat outside in the sunshine for breakfast and what a treat that was, all freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. We will be returning at some stage. Great hotel, great staff and wonderful food.

We stayed one night at this lovely hotel with work trip we had a fantastic meal and breakfast was fabulous we could have what we wanted would come again as the golf grounds look amazing and dint get time walk around beds we're very comfortable bathroom was massive

Nearly an hour's drive from London. Manor-like hotel. All the food and drink are produced on the own farm. The hotel's restaurant has the longest two Michelin stars in the UK. It has an excellent environment and excellent service.
