A great hotel to stay for a nice holiday!
Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is near many other hotels which are connected.
Compliment goes to Mr Leero and Miss Ann at the reception counter. They had given their assistant way beyond my expectations. Appreciate their kind help.
Would love to come back to Parisian again during my next trip.
Above normal 5 star service.
From check in to check out all staff are very friendly.
Staff always think of customer point. When arriving the hotel staff at the drop off point has suggested to sent the luggage to our room but we wanted to bring the luggage up to the room ourself ( don’t need to wait for the luggage in the room)
When doing the check in and after getting the room key , another staff has suggested to sent our luggages to our room and clearly explain why they want to help to sent out luggages to the room. Time receiving the luggage’s very fast.
In the check out day , has called for the luggages to sent for deposit. Staff Ricky is very friendly and love to communicate to customers. Well done for his good service.
Thanks for making my boss and wife wedding anniversary memorable.
When I arrived at the hotel earlier than the check in time, GRO Jessica welcomed me with a big smile and assisted with luggage storage. Learning that this was the first time I visited Macau, she gave a warm introduction to the hotel, and recommendations to local attractions and food. She also coordinated with FO Castle to give me a room upgrade. I was surprised that she remembered my name and greeted me every time she saw me during my stay. Her hospitable personality is one of the reasons why I will choose to stay with Sofitel Macau again.
FO staff member Castle was also exceptionally helpful and efficient. He helped me to check in quickly and provided clear answers to my questions.
During my stay, I had a spa treatment, and dined at hotel restaurants, and the services were superb.
I would highly recommend Sofitel Macau for its excellent services, great location and room cleanliness.
The hotel is a swift 7-8 minute taxi ride from Hengqin Port, costing 60 MOP (I later remembered there's a direct hotel shuttle, but I'd forgotten at the time!). It's conveniently located in the same building as The Londoner. From the moment we pulled up with our luggage, the doorman was incredibly attentive and enthusiastic, promptly assisting us and maintaining that exceptional level of warmth all the way through check-in. I truly felt their service was outstanding.
While the rooms might be a bit dated, they are impeccably maintained and offer fantastic value for money, especially when compared to The Londoner. The casino and an extensive shopping complex are just downstairs. It's definitely a highly recommended stay.
It was my son's 12th birthday on our check-in day, and he had flown independently from Singapore. I had informed the hotel in advance, and they thoughtfully surprised him with a cake and warm birthday wishes, which we deeply appreciated.
My only minor complaint is that the business center charges 80 MOP per hour for computer use, and the operating system was in English. Thankfully, I was still able to navigate it.
Firstly, we got upgraded to a suite, which was really sweet. Secondly , they used loads of marble, which was incredible. The size of the suite was about 1000 +\- 100 square feet, which was spacious enough. There was an abundance of free water, and the linen and duvet was very comfy , the jet stream bathtub was a bonus and the staff were immaculate. However, since it was in the middle of the city, there weren’t much view. Being on the top floor, the water pressure was decent for the shower but took eons to fill the tub. The mattress was able to provide adequate support for now, but much alike my old girlfriends, with time has lost some of its firmness. The aircon in the bedroom also created ghost sounds which would has been a nice touch in Halloween. As far as I know though, when the hotel was build the aircon was installed by one of the most respectable aircon company in Hong Kong, guess that everything ages. The chair with the foot rest wasn’t ergonomic and the coffee machine, much alike my firm young beautiful friend, who is also a gambler, just doesn’t know when to stop. I tried a session of hot stone therapy at the Thai Spa on the 20th floor, around 900 mop for 90 min, my therapist was 601, and it was better than most spas I have had in Bangkok. What’s interesting though was how they mixed up the gender sign on the male toilet, guess that when it comes to gender issues the Thai ain’t too keen about it.
The Chinese restaurant was prompt in making their dishes , and the char siu was tasty, though not nearly the best that I have tasted but was good for its price in terms of quality and quantity. The fried vegetable was up to standard, but the crab meat stew was rank.
All in all, I was grateful that they upgraded us, the staff were wonderful people, and the hotel was good for its price and convenience of location.

The highlight of my Macau trip was definitely this hotel. Its location is excellent, right opposite Fisherman's Wharf and next to the Sands Hotel, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The hotel boasts excellent facilities; the rooms are particularly spacious and spotlessly clean. What I loved most was the resort aspect. The outdoor pool is generously sized, beautifully landscaped, and lined with plenty of lounge chairs, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. Given how hot Macau is this season – even the evenings are muggy – being able to take a dip in the pool was incredibly refreshing and comfortable. The service was also outstanding. While some staff members might not have spoken Chinese, their attitude was consistently wonderful. Every single staff member offered a genuine smile and showed no sign of impatience whatsoever.
Spent three days and two nights in Macau. Our first day was in Taipa. From the main entrance of Studio City, you can take bus 102X directly to Legend Palace. After getting off, just cross the footbridge. The fare should be 6 MOP per person. You can buy something at Don Quijote inside Studio City to get some small change for the bus, or you can take The Parisian's complimentary shuttle to the central area. On the return trip, the first stop is Sands, which is less than a 10-minute walk away.
Let me explain why we chose Legend Palace. Hotels in Taipa simply don't offer the same value for money. Perhaps because I booked through Ctrip, the front desk gave us a complimentary room upgrade. All the toiletries were L'Occitane, and the room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The shower water pressure was also better than at Studio City. If the weather cooperates, you're guaranteed a spectacular sunset sea view.
Check-in was seamless, with no queues or crowds. Seafood prices here are also relatively cheaper compared to Taipa. Ordering takeout via 'Aomi' (a local food delivery app) was very convenient. For transportation, you can use the shuttle bus from the Sands hotel directly opposite, or try out the public bus system. Within walking distance, you can visit the Fisherman's Wharf, and if you walk a bit further, you can reach the Handover Gifts Museum of Macau. The service staff weren't as flashy or overly enthusiastic as some in Taipa, but their standard of service was still excellent. If our return flights hadn't already been booked, we definitely would have extended our stay for another day!
Coming from Hong Kong where rooms at the same price point are often just 20 sq m, I was immediately blown away upon arriving in Macau – the room was absolutely massive, haha! The decor shows its age, but it's very well-maintained. The service was excellent. They noted our anniversary and sent a complimentary cake and fruit. Service requests via phone were also very prompt, and the front desk concierge was great. The vibe at DC was just okay; I heard the place next door is more fun. For purchases within the mall, it's worth getting a membership card at DC first, as it offers discounts. Would definitely stay here again!
Four Seasons truly lives up to its reputation as a classic luxury hotel. The facilities and environment are impeccable. The outdoor pool downstairs is fantastic, and the service is exceptionally thoughtful. Especially when traveling with children, the hotel's extra bed was incredibly accommodating, which really earned our full appreciation. The location is also superb, making it extremely convenient for shopping and getting around.
The check-in counter is located on the 38th floor. We booked a room with two 1.5-meter wide beds, which was perfectly spacious for our family of three. The room was very large, and the bathroom featured an extra-large bathtub, though we returned too late to enjoy a soak. It also had a separate wet and dry area. Housekeeping serviced the room twice daily, replenishing amenities like tea bags and coffee. Complimentary fruit was provided, and everything in the mini-bar was free of charge. What initially attracted me to this hotel was its infinity pool, but unfortunately, I couldn't use it as I was on my period. The hotel is situated in a residential area with plenty of dining options, and a nearby bus stop makes getting to the Macau Peninsula very convenient. The hotel also provides shuttle services to the Border Gate (Gongbei Port), City of Dreams, and Studio City. Overall, it's extremely convenient and offers excellent value for money for a five-star establishment. It's very close to both the airport and the ferry terminal, with a taxi ride taking less than 10 minutes and costing around 50-60 MOP. Just a heads-up: Macau taxis charge for luggage, with each piece costing 3 MOP.

TTanya:)Our family stay was an absolute delight from start to finish. Traveling with our two children, aged 5 and 10, we were wonderfully cared for by “Jindy” from the Thai Front Office team.
From the moment we checked in, her service was exceptional. She personally arranged for our luggage to be sent to our room, which was a fantastic two-bed room with a direct view of the Eiffel Tower. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a delicious cake and a lovely kid's amenity waiting for us, along with complimentary drinks and snacks in the room.
Jindy was incredibly sweet and courteous, providing us with excellent assistance and thorough information throughout our stay. Her attentiveness was a significant reason our family trip was filled with so much happiness.
We created wonderful memories, from enjoying a ride on the swings together to savoring the delicious Zhen Dim Sum at the hotel. The convenience of having a Don Don Donki supermarket right there for our shopping needs, along with a variety of other shopping options, was a major plus.
The heated swimming pool with its stunning skyline view was the perfect touch, especially considering the very affordable price. For any family planning a trip, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel
GGuest UserWe stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and the hotel surprised us with a lovely cake. it was such a sweet touch! I really enjoyed my time at this hotel. The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect—close to everything but still peaceful and quiet.
We had such a great experience that we’ve already planned to come back in January next year. Can’t wait to visit again!
GGuest UserA great hotel to stay for a nice holiday!

GGuest UserThe location is quite good, not as remote as some online reviews might suggest. I noticed the two cabinets that some had mentioned as being a bit odd. The one containing the mini-fridge was perfectly fine, but the middle cabinet seemed quite unnecessary, especially since the room was spacious enough and had plenty of space for clothes. The staff service was also very good. My only minor gripe is that each floor has around 100 very similar-looking rooms, and the extensive layout makes it quite easy to get lost.
Overall, it's mostly a positive experience. The only real downside was that the swimming pool was undergoing maintenance during my visit, which meant having to take a rather inconvenient and long detour. They could have made the temporary barriers smaller; otherwise, it was genuinely inconvenient to walk around in a swimsuit just to change or use the restroom. It would also be great if the pool could stay open until 10 PM (22:00), as 8 PM (20:00) feels a bit too early to close.
KKoJustinThe hotel is reasonably priced for a weekday and has a nice pool. The location is not so convenient however, as it is somewhat far from most of the tourist attractions in Taipa. You would either need to take a cab, a shuttle, or a bus, but the shuttle does not come very frequently. So I ended up spending my time staying around the hotel. Fortunately, they do have a pretty decent Chinese restaurant. The outdoor pool is a nice touch given that not all hotels in Macao have decent outdoor pools. There is also a nice view of Hengqin from the room and also from the pool deck. Overall I think for the price it is a good option for those who are not solely in Macao to gamble. It is too bad that the hotel is near an abandoned race course however, it would be great if the government were to revive this area as it is a waste of space.
AAnonymous UserLet's start with the positives: the facilities are quite new, and breakfast was decent, especially considering the price point in Macau.
Now for the downsides. As other reviews have mentioned, I found the check-in process to be incredibly slow; it took half an hour, even though I was checking in late at night. The front desk initially claimed there were no standard rooms available and tried to assign me an accessible room. After I declined, they 'magically' found a regular room. I truly don't understand their reasoning for this.
On the second morning, around 10 AM, after returning from breakfast, my room key card had stopped working. I had to wait quite a while for a new one to be delivered, which disrupted my plans for going out at noon. I complained about the service quality, and they offered a fruit platter as compensation.
In summary, if you're not in a rush and aren't overly sensitive to service issues, you might consider this hotel. The overall value for money is acceptable.
GGuest UserThe hotel location is so convenient to access, and walkable to Ruins of St Paul and Lisbo Casino as well as local restaurants. The hotel front desk team offered us free upgrade to Superior Suite - spacious living room and bathroom. The room is tidy and comfortable. We will stay here for our next visit.

MM300774****The beds are quite spacious, which is a definite plus for Macau standards. While the cleanliness was decent and not as bad as some online reviews suggested, the facilities are genuinely old and dated. The 7th floor has a swimming pool and a hot tub, which is great for kids. Breakfast was quite generous, offering a good variety. The location is fantastic: there are numerous eateries and restaurants right across the street. It's less than a 10-minute walk to the Grand Lisboa and only about a 10-15 minute drive to Taipa. The service was excellent; any requests made by phone were promptly fulfilled. The staff, particularly at the front desk, were very helpful. As we were a large group, finding taxis for six people on our own was inconvenient, so having the front desk staff help us arrange cabs was a huge relief and saved us a lot of hassle.
