Gulong Stay Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) I recently stayed near Gulong Canyon and had a wonderful experience overall. The area is surrounded by lush green mountains and rivers, so the views are absolutely stunning, especially in the early morning with mist in the valley. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had a rustic charm that fit the natural setting. The main attraction — the glass bridge and skywalk — was breathtaking (and a little scary if you’re afraid of heights). Staff were friendly and helpful, though English was limited, so having a translation app helped. Local food was fresh and tasty, especially the river fish dishes. One tip: bring comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for some steep climbs. It’s best to visit on weekdays to avoid heavy crowds. Would I come back? Definitely — especially to enjoy more hiking trails and maybe try the zipline next time.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, and the amenities were both high-quality and stylish. They really nailed the tech-savvy, comfortable vibe with things like electric toothbrushes, a projector for movies, a sleep sound machine, and a plumbed-in water dispenser. All the appliances in the room were smart and could be voice-controlled. The hotel staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and patient. This is a hotel I'd highly recommend, from its facilities to its service.

The bedding in the room was soft and comfortable, offering great value for money. Front desk staff Xiao Xiao and Xiao Wu were very warm and helpful, and we received a complimentary upgrade to a larger room with a window. The value for money is excellent, and they offer luggage storage after check-out, which is really convenient for travelers and doesn't disrupt your plans at all.

Located opposite a pretty lake, nice for a walk, the hotel is good for leisure and business travellers. The rooms are large and well equipped. The shower was particularly nice and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is very clean. Fortunately I was with my Chinese speaking partner otherwise check in may have been a longer process. The breakfast was also fine but more orientated to local audience - albeit there is bread, fruit, eggs. Coffee at breakfast is not so good.

The hotel ambiance is elegant and comfortable, and the room is incredibly spacious and bright with a beautiful layout. It felt absolutely uncrowded even with my whole family, and my child had plenty of space to run around and play. What truly impressed me was the butler service – it was incredibly thoughtful! I just mentioned that the room felt a bit dry, and a humidifier was delivered almost immediately. When they learned we were going on the Two Rivers and Four Lakes boat tour, they proactively offered us raincoats, worried we might get wet. Even more touching was the little gift they prepared, which made my child so happy! The front desk staff was also incredibly warm and accommodating. Free cookies and milk were always available, which was super convenient for a quick snack when we were hungry. I casually mentioned that the shower gel dispenser was a bit hard to squeeze, and the staff member immediately took note – their willingness to listen to guest feedback really won me over! From check-in to check-out, we were surrounded by warm touches. The environment, facilities, and service all exceeded our expectations! We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Guilin. I honestly recommend it to anyone visiting Guilin, especially families with children – you absolutely can't go wrong staying here!

This is the best Wyndham hotel I've stayed at so far. There's plenty of parking, the soundproofing is excellent, and I slept very well. The breakfast incorporates some local specialties and has a wide variety of options. It would be even better if the lobby had a display area showcasing local specialties from various counties.

I was staying with one adult and two children during the off-season. Originally, I booked different room types, but they thoughtfully upgraded us to the same room type. The front desk staff, both the men and women, provided excellent service! The restaurant's front desk service was also great! The food at Pushi (璞食) was delicious too. I recommend the spicy and sour snail chicken! There's also a Western restaurant and a bar upstairs. In short, the service is very attentive, and the food is great. I came here based on a local's recommendation and will definitely recommend it to other friends!

I called the hotel yesterday before checking in to ask if I could fish by the Li River, and they confirmed they provide a full set of fishing gear. While not top-of-the-line lure rods, they were perfectly fine for a good experience. I brought my daughter along, and we also tried the hotel's travel photography service; the photographer was great at guiding us with poses. The hotel is right by the Li River, and this morning we even saw cormorants fishing – the hotel said it's a special sight only during Chinese New Year! The room facilities are complete, and all the minibar food and drinks are free. The breakfast rice noodles were also delicious. The location is excellent, making it convenient to visit many attractions. I highly recommend everyone to come and stay!

The bedding was so soft it felt like sinking into a cloud, and the bathroom experience was top-notch with high-quality amenities. The breakfast offerings weren't overwhelming but everything was exquisite, with incredibly fresh ingredients, and even the condiments were meticulously prepared. The location is super convenient yet surprisingly quiet, allowing me to hear the gentle breeze outside my window at night, and it's perfect for shopping and getting around. The entire experience was fantastic, filled with thoughtful details. This hotel has definitely made it onto my list of go-to places to stay – book it, you won't regret it!

It was my first time to sleep on a 3-meter bed. It was super cool. The hotel facilities and services are great. The surrounding area is also convenient. RT-Mart is just over 900 meters away. There is free underground parking. The breakfast included in the hotel is also good. My favorite thing is riding a shared electric scooter around Yulin. I went to Shishijie Night Market, Yuntian Cultural City, and Kelawan Water Park. I can stay in a hotel of this level for less than 300 yuan during the National Day. I think it’s worth it!
