Located right in the heart of Wuzhou near the river. This hotel was quite large with a beautiful and elegant lobby. The room was equally spacious and comfortable. Everything in the bathroom worked well and the bed was quite comfortable as well. Overall an excellent value for a hotel to use as a base for exploring Wuzhou!

This hotel, located right by the Two Rivers and Four Lakes Scenic Area, truly deserves a perfect score for both its facilities and service. From the moment they contacted me a day in advance to ask about my check-in time, to the warm welcome upon arrival, every staff member was incredibly enthusiastic. The breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious, and the setting was beautiful. The room featured full smart home automation. With the sudden drop in temperature, the indoor heating was excellent, completely alleviating my only concern as someone from the North. The bedding was comfortable, and I slept very well at night. All in all, it's an excellent hotel for tourists. Wishing the business prosperity!

The bedding in the room was soft and comfortable, offering great value for money. Front desk staff Xiao Xiao and Xiao Wu were very warm and helpful, and we received a complimentary upgrade to a larger room with a window. The value for money is excellent, and they offer luggage storage after check-out, which is really convenient for travelers and doesn't disrupt your plans at all.

Located opposite a pretty lake, nice for a walk, the hotel is good for leisure and business travellers. The rooms are large and well equipped. The shower was particularly nice and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is very clean. Fortunately I was with my Chinese speaking partner otherwise check in may have been a longer process. The breakfast was also fine but more orientated to local audience - albeit there is bread, fruit, eggs. Coffee at breakfast is not so good.

The hotel is impeccably clean, from the rooms to the public areas, not a speck of dust anywhere – you can tell they pay great attention to detail. The service attitude is also outstanding; the front desk and staff are warm, attentive, and always willing to help, making you feel right at home. Our package included a restaurant experience, and I must commend the restaurant as well. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious, and the dining environment was very comfortable. The biggest surprise was the view outside the hotel restaurant – the scenery from the window is beautiful, especially the rooftop pool. The panoramic views are stunning; you can swim while enjoying the scenery. It’s particularly pleasant in the evening and perfect for taking photos. Upon checkout, we even received a souvenir hand cream with a lovely scent! The hotel also has a gym and a laundry room with dryers – the service here is absolutely superb! Since we had a child, they provided us with a crawling mat, a tent, and a rocking horse for him. They even helped us dry our clothes and delivered them to our room. The hotel is very close to Elephant Trunk Hill, Seven Star Park, and Chuanshan Park Scenic Area. Overall, the cleanliness, environment, service, and facilities all exceeded our expectations. This is a hotel I would recommend to friends and definitely choose again on my next trip to Guilin! 👍

This is the best Wyndham hotel I've stayed at so far. There's plenty of parking, the soundproofing is excellent, and I slept very well. The breakfast incorporates some local specialties and has a wide variety of options. It would be even better if the lobby had a display area showcasing local specialties from various counties.

The location is fantastic! Our balcony directly faced the Li River, offering nearly a 120-degree river view, even with some obstructions. We could watch fireworks at night and the sunrise over the Li River in the morning. The hotel's rooftop also has a beautiful 360-degree viewing platform. While the river view rooms face a quiet street, there are occasional pedestrians. It's only a one-minute walk to Yangshuo Pier and five minutes to West Street, with Wangjianglou (River-view Tower) along the way. The bedding was comfortable, and the service was excellent. My recent experiences at other hotels made me particularly hesitant when choosing a hotel in Guilin this time. Even with thousands of positive reviews, I couldn't help but feel skeptical. I finally decided to check it out in person. Before checking in, I made what I would have previously considered an unnecessary request: ”May I see the room first?” The front desk staff responded without hesitation: ”Of course, you can.” When viewing the room, the staff knocked three times on the door of a room he clearly knew was empty, saying ”housekeeping service” each time. After opening the door, he knocked once more before formally entering. At that moment, I felt reassured. It turns out that a standardized knock and a simple announcement can rebuild shattered trust. This isn't just service; it's the hotel's fundamental respect for people. This feeling of being respected permeated my entire stay. The monk fruit tea personally served by the front desk, the handwritten card next to the welcome fruit, and the Angelica tea before bed all felt warm and thoughtful. Even the housekeeping auntie who brought buckwheat pillows in the evening was all smiles. Here, you don't feel like a hotel guest; you feel more like you've arrived at the home of a cherished friend. Besides the warm and attentive front desk staff, what impressed me most was the F&B supervisor. When I ordered my second coffee, an Americano, she gently confirmed: ”You had a sugar-free latte earlier, didn't you?” I was surprised that she remembered my preference after serving so many guests. When my Guilin rice noodles were ready, she specifically came over to tell me, ”Please come over to add your condiments.” Upon check-out, she even proactively asked, ”Did you sleep well last night? Is there anything you needed in the room?” Accustomed to the rigid departmental divisions of large hotels, this cross-departmental, meticulous care was truly unexpected. I noticed during breakfast that all the servers wore transparent masks. This ensured hygiene without hindering their friendly smiles and clear voices. All the subsequent observations, whether it was the consistently neat bottled water in the elevator or the carefully arranged green mangoes on the breakfast buffet, made me feel that the operation went far beyond merely replenishing food and drinks. It was an attitude of consistently upholding their own standards. Admittedly, considering the prices in Guilin during the off-season, this small hotel with Li River views is not inexpensive, and its facilities are comparable to many standardized chain hotels. However, when respect for people, meticulous attention to detail, and adherence to standards are presented so genuinely, what it offers is an experience that far exceeds its hardware specifications.

If you are concerned about the security of your belongings, think carefully before staying at this hotel. I want to state first that the receptionists and front desk staff are excellent and professional. Unfortunately, there is a serious issue with room security and unauthorized entry. I am a returning guest. First stay: 10–14 December, Room 3031 Second stay: 22–24 December, Room 3003 During my first stay, I informed the cleaning supervisor that I did not want housekeeping until 14 December. When my room ran out of bottled water, I spoke to a cleaning staff member who said she would place the water in my room later after I went out. During our conversation, my room door accidentally shut, and she used a master key card to open it. Looking back, she could have simply handed the water to me as her cart was in the hallway. On 12 or 13 December, the same cleaning staff mentioned that they “cannot earn if they do not clean my room.” Feeling pressured, I agreed to allow floor cleaning only. I stood outside the room while two cleaners mopped the toilet, changed towels, and vacuumed the carpet. On 14 December early checkout, I reached for a pair of black slack pants that had been hanging in the closet since 10 December but it was not there. At that time, I assumed the pants may have been accidentally packed into the two bags for the hotel’s luggage storage. I then traveled to other parts of China with light luggage and did no shopping. I returned to the hotel on the night of 22 December and collected my stored bags. The black slack pants were not in them. During second stay at the hotel I did no shopping. After 24th Dec flying home, I discovered something even more alarming. A bundle of newly purchased jeans for my sister and mother during my first stay—packed together in a plastic bag—was missing. At the airport on 24th Dec, my bags were shrink-wrapped and sealed, and is no wander the total weight was at least 1.3 kg lighter than expected. This suggests that someone entered my room when the room was vacant and removed items from my packed luggage. Hotel staff would have known my checkout date, and I had not opened my bags after packing. This experience has caused me great distress. While the front desk service is commendable, the lack of room security and the disappearance of personal belongings is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge management to investigate this matter seriously.

It was my first time to sleep on a 3-meter bed. It was super cool. The hotel facilities and services are great. The surrounding area is also convenient. RT-Mart is just over 900 meters away. There is free underground parking. The breakfast included in the hotel is also good. My favorite thing is riding a shared electric scooter around Yulin. I went to Shishijie Night Market, Yuntian Cultural City, and Kelawan Water Park. I can stay in a hotel of this level for less than 300 yuan during the National Day. I think it’s worth it!
