Beautiful resort in a beautiful location. The room was beautiful (although it can help having a little refurbishment, especially the bathroom). The staff is incredible, nice friendly and always trying to help and even if they don't speak English the communication was so easy with everyone. They gave us a room with a beautiful balcony with view and recommendations on restaurants in the area. Highly recommend it

Where does one start? We were here for only 2 nights before we headed to Yangshao but would have liked to stay longer. The location is convenient, walking distance to the sun & moon and various restaurant/shops. The hotel is pristine. The rooms were excellent; clean, firm bed, fantastic shower, well equipped with the usual toiletries.... anything else was available from the reception. No need for the traditional kettle as there was an instant water dispenser for tea or other, varying the temperature as desired. It's very tech savvy, good for me but did need to explain to my elderly parents. There's a free laundry service, breakfast was just right with a diverse selection of offerings. The restaurant for dinner was good value with delicious offerings. Most of all, were the super helpful and friendly staff; from reception, breakfast service, dinner and housekeeping... they were faultless. I highly recommend.The hotel piccies are a true reflection of the rooms so not sharing but will post a picture of the Guilin famous beer fish dish, which was very yummy. ❤️

Being a solo female traveler can be a little daunting sometimes but the service provided at the hotel made it feel like I was warmly welcomed into Yangshuo. They assisted with finding guides for various activities and even went as far as trying to accommodate a late spa booking. The room had a beautiful bathtub in the middle of the sunroom and a lovely view of the mountains. The booking of the room came with unlimited coffee, 50 yuan off the spa and Thai tea. It was one of my best solo adventures. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Yangshuo!

Probably the best customer experience in China so far! Staff is extremely nice and helpful, even though not all speak English. Hotel team does the best to make your stay amazing! Hotel has central location, about 7 mins walk to Sun/Moon Pagodas. Room is huge in Twin, comfy bed, bath tab, shower, all the necessary supplies and complimentary soda drinks in the fridge 💖 breakfast is mainly Chinese traditional, but still you can find many variations for western taste. There is a SPA in the building and Tourist counter where you can book all excursions. Hotel staff efficiently arranged 2 sessions of massage in the SPA for late evening hours and massage was just fantastic! You can also get the discount as a resident. On the first floor there is super tasty Hong-Kong style restaurant. As I already mentioned, hospitality and care was amazing ! Would definitely choose again and recommend this accommodation! P.S extra thanks to a guy from morning shift on the front desk (sorry, don’t know the name)! Very caring 💖 and more thanks for unexpected traditional style gifts that we received on our check-out and leaving 💖

Stayed for one night during my recent visit to Yangshuo county. Friendly members of staff some of whom speak English. Was escorted to my room and explained everything I needed to know for my stay. Clean and spacious room; comes with a minibar, which was excellent given the hot weather. A bedside mobile charging point would have been nice. Breakfast spread was varied and delicious. Great location, a short walk from the Li River pier and the vibey West Street. Ruyifeng Peak is roughly 16 kilometers away, with taxis/Didi available on the doorstep. Yulong rafting area is closer. Lovely cafes nearby. Amazing views from the rooftop bar.

The Li River Courtyard Hotel offered a truly unforgettable stay in Guilin. The location was perfect—just steps away from Elephant Trunk Hill and within easy reach of the Two Rivers & Four Lakes area, giving us stunning scenery right outside our window. Our room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. We especially loved the activities they arranged—photo shooting sessions with breathtaking river views and a lovely handcraft workshop that gave a personal touch to our visit. The afternoon tea was another highlight, enjoyed in a peaceful courtyard atmosphere surrounded by nature. On our last morning, we watched the sunrise over the Li River, a magical moment that made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for charm, comfort, and genuine Guilin hospitality.

For a trip to Nanning with a budget of around 600 RMB, the Crowne Plaza is an unrivaled choice. My Check-in Experience: First and foremost, a heartfelt thank you to Manager Grace Wu for her warm assistance and attentive service during my stay. Arriving at 2 PM, your smiling service instantly melted away all the day's fatigue. Upon arrival, our room wasn't quite ready, so Manager Wu offered us drink vouchers and arranged for us to relax in the lounge. Unfortunately, the executive lounge on the 32nd floor was closed, and all executive benefits were temporarily relocated to the lobby bar on the 1st floor. The afternoon tea and happy hour there were quite disappointing, with very limited selection and mediocre taste. On a positive note, after checking into the room, we found no issues with its cleanliness, which is highly commendable! Suggestions Following My Stay: 1. The executive lounge on the 32nd floor should reopen as soon as possible, and the variety and quality of food and beverages for afternoon tea and happy hour should be significantly improved to truly enhance executive benefits. 2. I suggest strengthening staff training on courtesy and etiquette. Several staff members were observed not greeting guests and simply walking away with their heads down. 3. I recommend the hotel proactively contact guests booking executive rooms via phone to inquire about their specific check-in preferences and try their best to accommodate them. Finally, I'd like to once again express my gratitude to Manager Grace Wu for her exceptionally warm and thoughtful service. You truly are a shining example of hotel service. I hope you can continue to serve every customer with even greater attentiveness in the future, and I wish you a well-deserved promotion and salary increase soon! Came here on a friend's recommendation, and it was excellent! The hotel is conveniently located downtown, with a metro station just 200 meters away. However, if you're driving, parking can be tricky and traffic often congested. For us non-drivers, it was incredibly convenient. The kids loved it too! Robots deliver takeout and collect dirty laundry, there's a welcome gift, plus kids' toothbrushes and slippers, which made traveling with children a breeze. My only suggestion would be to add child toilet seats. Breakfast was also excellent, offering a wide variety of options. Children had their own dining sets, and the noodles and fruit were delicious, as was the local yogurt. Overall, a well-deserved five-star rating!

My family and I have just returned from a wonderful week at The Sugarhouse, and we are still overwhelmed by the warmth and genuine kindness of the entire experience. Traveling with a 6-month-old baby can be daunting, but the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and stress-free. The efforts they made for our baby were incredible. The chef took special care to prepare unsalted meats, eggs, and vegetables for her, allowing us to customize her meals perfectly. This level of attention was a game-changer for us. The amenities were superb. We enjoyed the yoga classes (even with the baby in tow!), used the well-equipped gym, and loved relaxing by the pool. My massage was also absolutely amazing. A special thank you to the team for the gracious late checkout and the thoughtful goodbye gift—it was such a lovely touch that encapsulated their thoughtful service. The Sugarhouse has a magical aura that made our family time truly special. It is worth every single penny. Facilities were decent, though parking required a bit of a walk. Cleanliness was alright, apart from some old, ingrained stains on the carpet that seemed to have been overlooked. The overall environment was quite pleasant. Service was acceptable, but lacked warmth and could definitely use improvement. The location was very convenient, being close to West Street.
