A much better hotel comparing to BaiYun hotel in terms of the condition of the facilities and rooms. It is just newer, better and serve better FOOD . But since Baiyun is located in the Front Mountain , and Xihai on the back mountain , one would still have to stay at BaiYun if they are planning to climb front mountain , and one have to stay at XiHai if planning to climb Back Mountain. Remember Huangshan is divided into 3 areas , Front , Back and DaXiaGu with 73 peaks in total ! If you dont mind the cost , XIhai hotel is the best hotel if you are climbing the Back Mountains. Note : Huangshan is just too big , you need to see the map and plan properly before attempting ! The photos i posted is the view from the hotel ! First of all, the environment is beautiful, the service is very good, especially the front desk and reception staff are very enthusiastic, the aunt in the room is also very good, smiling all the time. The room is not particularly new, the toilet door is not closed tightly, there is a gap, it is quite embarrassing for family play. Then let's talk about the shortcomings. A five-star hotel, the most expensive hotel in Tongling, this breakfast really looked around and found that the only meat was white chicken, the hot dishes were all vegetables, and the noodles didn't even have toppings! ! ! ! ! Maybe the hotel is afraid that the guests will eat too much and the obesity index will exceed the standard? It is recommended that the hotel send the staff in charge of breakfast to visit Mobert opposite you to learn what their breakfast is like. Its price is only half of yours. How much meat, cakes and snacks are there for breakfast. Your breakfast is really shameful! It may not even catch up with the breakfast of the All Seasons. Your breakfast is really sorry for the enthusiastic staff

Room: I stayed there many years ago. I was upgraded to a room after I checked in. It was very large and the decoration was great. I went there many years later. The hotel was seriously worn out. It was estimated that there was no spare time for maintenance and upgrades due to the large flow of customers. The soft furnishings on the wall were shaking and protruding after I checked in. The bathroom and entrance tiles were broken. I thought the floor was dirty and not cleaned, so I asked the front desk. The cleaning staff came and explained that it was because the tiles were falling off. After mopping twice, it was still the same. I applied for a room change and was told that the next door was worse. But the children were tired and hungry and needed to eat first, so I accepted it. As a result, when I came back to wash at night, the shower head in the shower room could not be fixed at all and fell down. It was broken and could not be used. I hit my foot. Fortunately, it was not serious. I went to the bathtub to wash, but there was no water at all. I was depressed. Finally, I used the shower head to brush my teeth in the shower room without a shower head and a small shower head. I found that there was only an empty shower cap in the box. There was nothing else. I called the front desk again and sent toiletries. This is really a bit speechless. This is the first time I have encountered such a situation when staying in a hotel. What is worth praising is the swimming pool🏊♀️The children like it But the kids and teachers who were in swimming class in the morning didn't care about the kids who were staying there. They splashed around in the water. The breakfast was very rich in variety, including drinks, pastries, etc. It felt much worse than the last time I stayed there. I don't believe that it's a little worse than Sheraton now. I still feel that I was quite satisfied with my first stay in Chuzhou. I was a little disappointed this time.

It was a very comfortable experience. The hotel is very central and you have plenty of eating options in the area. Very friendly staff at the reception.

I really love to stay at this hotel when I travel to Hefei. It's close to all the things I need. The staff is super nice. Next time, I will ask for a room with a better view. The mall or the south side

My family stay with Wanxi Hotel has been surprisingly amazing and far exceed our expectation. We were warmly welcomed and farewelled by hotel crew and it really felt like a family. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Lu'An with everything in the arm of reach and the service is wonderful and absolutely second to none. We missed our stay and will certainly stay here again in our next trip to Lu'An and wish everyone all the best.

Location at the top of the mountain cannot be faulted and close to quite a few scenic spots. They also organise sunset & sunrise tours for guests (min 5 people) and if there are enough people, a photography workshop. We didn't have enough people for the workshop which was a shame. Service and attention was top notch and very friendly staff (shout out to Mr Li, 李管家 who was extremely helpful with all our questions and provided suggestions on the hiking routes). The actual building is a little dated but it looks like they're carrying out works to make improvements. As it was after peak holiday season, they also upgraded our no window room booking to one with a window. 👍

I recently had a very pleasure staying at this beautiful hotel, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The location is incredibly convenient, with a variety of resources available around the area for all budgets, making it an ideal choice for any traveler. The exterior environment is stunning, surrounded by natural beauty and offering fresh, invigorating air. Inside, the hotel is spotless and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, the beds are remarkably comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and warm. Special thanks to Jenny and Yanyan Zhang at the front desk, whose friendly and enthusiastic greeting refreshed my tiredness from the 10+hours flight , They kindly upgraded my room and patiently assisted with connecting to the Wi-Fi and proactively registering the vehicle number plate which made my check-in process smooth and effortless. Additionally, they facilitated a companion registration for my relative and offered an extra delightful happy hour. Parker Zhang from the executive lounge was exceptionally helpful, providing valuable tips on local services and transportation, ensuring I had all the information I needed and he is very approachable. ( I did not had my breakfast in the hotel as I was keen to explore more street and local foods outside , however I love their desserts from the welcome fruit platter and the happy, it definitely made with high quality ingredients,the freshest cream and does not taste too sweet (less guilty:) This stay made my first trip back home in five years wonderfully smooth and comfortable. I am truly grateful for the exceptional service and warm hospitality. Thank you for your hospitality making my visit so memorable and I cannot wait to stay with you again :)

What you expect of a shangri la hotel. Good service. Nice hotel 5 stars

What We Liked Service staff were very warm and friendly, and there's a WeChat where they update on sunrise timings at the nearby Danxia Peak. The path to Danxia peak was well lit even at 4am, and the room comes with thick jackets and a torch light for you to bring along. The staff made all the difference in our stay as they genuinely wanted to ensure our stay was enjoyable. As it is the closest hotel to Danxia peak, it is very convenient to get to within 20mins for both sunrise and sunset. However if you are looking to catch the sea of clouds, it is much further away. What We Disliked The room layout is quite odd, and our ”window” faces the corridor and into the next unit. This meant that sound is very audible even with the window closed. But if the window is closed, there's no ventilation and makes the room uncomfortably warm. I guess it's not an issue on colder nights. If you manage your expectations that this is a hotel on the mountaintop, where heavy goods are hand carried by workers it is ok.
