The hotel is fairly new so things were still being installed. The staff were great, friendly and very accomodating. If we needed anything they were quick to comply. The breakfast was awesome and ladies preparing the food were always smiling, which is a good sign The rooms were clean. The location is excellent so we were able to explore Göreme on our feet, restaurants, bottle shops and art shops close by. The views from the rooftop are spectacular. We will definitely go there again!!

They have a wide receiving area with boardgames on each tables, which we enjoyed because we did not get bored while waiting for our rides when we have activities. We chose the room with balcony and it was spacious, neat, and has a good view. Our bathroom has jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Their bed was so comfortable and I was able to sleep very well. They clean the room everyday and provided new toiletries. Their breakfast is located at the roof top which will provide you a good view of the outside. Their rooftop has tripod so you can take good photos and videos whilst up there. If you wake up early you will be able to see the hot air balloons from the hotel. The staffs were very friendly and accommodating. We appreciate all their efforts in making us feel comfortable and welcome in the hotel. Especially, Volcan, the lady at the reception (we forgot her name), and the owner. If you love dogs, this hotel is perfect for you. We got so close to Penny we didn't want to leave. They don't bark unless asked to ssssssspeak! Haha We'll surely choose Osmanli when we come back to Cappadocia.

The welcoming was very good. The staff was friendly and they even helped with the bags because the room was on the bottom and there are a lot of stairs to get to the top… I struggled a bit to get my laundry that was handed in. They were supposed to return it at 5pm the latest, and by 8pm I had to go ask in person by walking all the way to the top, after numerous calls to reception. The guy working in reception when handing in the keys and getting ready for the airport was not friendly. (Also the same guy who said to wait the whole time for the laundry). It’s as if everything was too much trouble for him. He was also supposed to give breakfast to us leaving early morning for the airport, but he never did - although it was arranged and paid for in the reservation deal. Overall a good stay as the room was clean, private, big and very beautiful. Unfortunately it was too hot at night and I had to sleep with the windows and door open because the water heater could not switch off, even though I asked the, (not friendly) receptionist to assist. He only said turn the knob to the left but it didn’t do anything. I would recommend the hotel 100%, just the receptionist taking over from the welcoming receptionists would make me think twice before staying there again.

I really wanted to give them 5 stars as I can see they try and they believe they try. The owner and his father are very sweat. However there is a language barrier and often there is no one in the office to help with questions. They prefer to use whatsAPP to communicate while you are there. This did not help when the owner said that he would have two breakfast boxes for us at the office on our last day. The young man that was there on check out was rude when asked out our breakfast boxes. He just said What's app and when I looked it said the boxes were in the kitchen which was a big climb for two seniors in the dark and he refused to get them while we waited for our shuttle. As the shuttle was picking people up, people were coming in with their breakfast boxes and one hotel even ran after the Van to give the people their box. The breakfast room is nice with lots of selections but the breakfast women will only cook ordered eggs for some guest. They can book things for you but you can also do it yourself as well as they prefer cad and they company they use will charge more for the card. I think they use the one at the corner but there are many others. Really liked staying in a cave room but this hotel seems better for younger people who don't mind sitting on cushions on the roof deck. If their customer service had been better on the last day I would have given them an extra star. I only wish them all the best and hope that they can learn better customer service skills and don't take their guest for granted.

The most wonderful, unique hotel experience we have ever had. Carus is built inside a hillside with so many stairs going up and down, you can feel you can fell you are living in an Escher painting. Our ”cave” room had tall windows but there are evidently others without. It was beautiful and the view from the roof restaurant at down with the hot air balloons rising was breathtaking. The sunset views just as spectacular. The heated pool is an experience in itself, carved into the high ceiling cavern.

Staff are very helpful and friendly, close to an amazing street of bars and restaurants. Will definitely be making this my second home. Lovely stay in Goreme, Cappadocia. Will come back in summer.

Not only is the hotel located in the best location in the city with amazing views and impeccably clean rooms it also comes with one of the best breakfasts Ive had at a hotel. The views you get tat this hotel are unparalleled. The hotels ambiance is to die for as it feels as if you are staying in a cave with all the amenities you could want. Besides the hotels amenities it is important to note the hotels staff. The hotels staff is one of the most professional and helpful people I have interacted with. Specially SERHAT, words cannot describe how helpful this man was. We arrived at the hotel with 0 plans. This man acted like our travel agent booked our whole trip for us. He was constantly in contact with us when things got canceled due to bad weather and would make adjustments for us to have something else to do that day. Just interacting with and getting the services from Serhat was worth the hotels rates, the rooms were just a plus. I cannot vouch more for this hotel, highly recommend to anyone considering visiting Capaddocia!

My wife and I just returned home after spending a wonderful week at the Cappadocia Cave Lodge. The hotel has an excellent position, high on the hillside in Göreme; perfect for viewing the stunning local scenery and the early morning balloons. As other reviewers suggested, reaching it by car is a bit chaotic, but added to the experience and we never failed to find a parking spot close by. It's the same for all the hotels in this crowded little town. From the moment we arrived, the staff could not have been more helpful, always on hand to suggest places to visit, organise tours, give local knowledge etc. There was quite a nice family feel to it. Our room was great, really giving us the cave experience we wanted. It was well appointed (although some drawers for our clothes would've been nice and a few extra coat hangers in the wardrobe!), very clean and everything worked. The hot tub was huge! The room really was something different (in a good way!) and positively contributed to our holiday. We picked this hotel based on other reviews and have no hesitation in recommending it too. You won't be disappointed!

We spent one night at the hotel. We arrived early in the morning, left our things, and went to wander around the city. We were met at the hotel by very friendly guys who told us everything and showed us everything! thank you very much Begimai!!! The girl greeted us like old friends! The hotel is located on the highest point of the city and from a very authentic terrace you have a gorgeous view of the entire city! It would be a wonderful evening spent on the terrace with exactly the same enthusiastic guests! Breakfast is worth a special delight! Abundance of everything! and also with this view I recommend this hotel not only because of the view, but also the excellent attitude towards guests

I came with my mother from the airport and took the transfer vehicle that the hotel had arranged and took on February 11th, where you can travel very nicely everywhere in the View even lightly night. We were very comfortable as two women in the View Centre. Everything was like a close food, drink, pharmacy, bus stop. We were very happy with our room and we didn't get cold despite February. ***fish was good with everything. It was a beautiful hot old accommodation. The terrace was very beautiful. The staff were concerned,glowing, loyal and helpful. It was very pleasant to talk to Samuel, the receptionist, whoever you could talk about everything and get information, we admired his information. We could say we didn't go through our room without talking about our returns to the hotel. And Furkan was very helpful in everything. If you want to make a Capadokya tour and balloon tour or you need a taxi, they can immediately arrange. Fortunately, whoever we preferred this place, whoever came, I recommend with pleasure. Even we were very used to staying a night longer and not being sure at first. We will be difficult to leave our room. Thank you very much to all staff for everything ☺️

The hotel is picturesque. Different, beautiful. We booked a room with two beds, and they gave us a room with two different rooms inside, one with a double bed and the other with a single bed. Lots of stairs!! It was great to sit on our patio, drinking wine and admiring the place. Very relaxing. Even though it was cold outside, I missed having air conditioning in the room. Every night, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling hot and sweat.. Even though the hotel is beautiful, it can be really dangerous: stairs without handrails, uneven floors. I do not recommend it for people with mobility difficulties. Wheelchairs? Dont even think about it.. The breakfast was good. Dinner at the restaurant was nice. The hotel is in a great location. You can walk to the city center. There are many restaurants nearby. It offers a free airport/hotel shuttle and I paid 15 euros for the return hotel/airport shuttle. There are two possible ways to reach this area from Istanbul: Nevshir Airport or Kayseri Airport. It was totally worth it. I loved my stay in Cappadocia.

Really bad experience when I stay at Exedra Cave. There was an unpleasant incident, so after 1 hour of entering the room, I found my room was very cold, apparently the room heater was broken. I called reception and was told to wait. After waiting 1 hour no one came, I went to the lobby to complain, was asked to wait again. Half an hour later still no one came, I went to the lobby and waited 40 minutes, while the children and wife were already cold, especially since the hotel didn't have blankets, only sheets. After 40 minutes in the lobby and seeing that the 4 heaters that the engineering staff had brought were not my quota, I was angry, the answer was just ”there's nothing we can do except wait”. While still angry, I just went to my room, unpacked clothes that could be used as blankets. Finally, after an hour, a portable heater was sent to the room. So in total I waited almost 4 hours. It's called a portable heater, it definitely takes time to heat up, so in the end we just had to sleep. After 8 hours the room temperature becomes a comfortable normal. Well, it turns out there were 2 other tour participants' rooms that were very positive thinking because the rooms were cold but didn't complain, so they wore 2 sets of jackets while sleeping because they thought it was a cave hotel feature so they slept in a natural atmosphere. The hotel can actually be said to have a good landscape, but it is less effective for older people and those with children because the location of one room to another is quite far and requires stairs. The lobby is located on the top floor while the restaurant is located on the bottom floor, so if you have breakfast or dinner it's quite a long way up and down. Arriving at the hotel, our luggage was dropped off by the hotel staff, immediately asked for dinner. The menu is rice, chicken, potatoes, vegetables, tomatoes, fried rice, fish, cheese, salad, various cakes, pudding. After dinner, we were taken to our room by the staff, it turned out our room was close to the lobby so we had to climb 4 floors using stairs. Arriving at the room, go into the room, the sleeping area is quite narrow because it only fits one mattress then the TV, the bathroom area is quite spacious combined with a cupboard and minibar. There is a shower sink and closet. The amenities are quite complete. You could say I was unlucky because I got a room with a narrow bedroom, the other room was more proportional (looked spacious). Because it's a cave hotel, the layout of one bedroom to another is of course different. At the Exedra Cave hotel we stayed 2 days. Our room also had a balcony (which of course I didn't use because it was so cold). There are no swimming pool and gym facilities. There is only a lobby and restaurant. Breakfast includes bread, crackers, cereal, nuts, honey, fruit, cake, pudding, salad, cold cut, cheese, boiled eggs, sausages, minced chicken, porridge, boiled Lombok, potatoes, bread

We were given the grand tour of the hotel, going up the main dining room, through the bar and indoor lounge area, the open roof deck with the majestic view, through the bright and light color appointed ”heaven” rooms to the dark mysterious and cave-like ”earth-hell” rooms, and finally down Dante's ”hell” where the heated indoor pool and spa was located. Everywhere was picturesque. We couldn't help but take pictures all the time, even in the bathroom. Besides the place itself, service was excellent. Restaurant served a beautiful breakfast spread, literally filling up the entire table counter space with delicious jams, nuts, cheese, bread, deli meat. And we could even order additional hot egg dishes like menemen, omelettes and pancakes. Only downside to the hotel is that it is not handicapped-friendly. No elevators and bathrooms all have tubs with shower.

Before we start to describe this lovely cave hotel, we would like to thank our dost (friend) Illiyas or Elliyas (apologies is the name is spelt wrong). Whenever we shouted dost he would immediately come to our service with a smile and first class service. Even the reception staff cleared our doubts and the cleaning staff wonderfully arranged our room! The restaurant staff was amazing aswell. The options were endless and the room cozy too. We would highly recommended you visit the Kayakapi Caves for a once in a lifetime experience worth the price!

This is really the best hotel in Cappadocia! The hotel is even more beautiful than shown on the pictures and (all!) employees are friendly and goodwill. Further, we loved the concept as every detail of the hotel is well thought off and the standard of hygiene is a 10/10. The breakfast very varied and delicious as all served was organic (self made and harvested) and all our wishes were always fulfilled with a smile on the face! We would like to thank the whole AJWA team (especially Nur Hanim, Musa and Onur bey, Orhan and Mehmet Chef) an unforgettable time and will definitely come again!

Very nice hotel located a few minutes away from nice restaurants. My family was impressed by the staff who were doing their best to make sure that their guests had a great time. Our family room was big with two proper single beds for our 2 children. Urgup may not offer balloon flight views but having stayed in both cities, I would recommend staying there because it is much better value for money than the hotels in Goreme.

A great hotel for transit and to visit Cappadocia. The balls are visible from the parking, of course, but it is better to go to the View in Herem (10 min by car). The rooms are big. There is a parking lot. Breakfast starts at 6 a.m. Thank you for the gifts, very unexpectedly!

Great location within walking distance to the town centre. We were there for one night only but managed to make the most of the magical setting - the terrace in front of our room and the restaurant had a great view over the Urgup and the valley. The cave rooms were modern and still gave an authentic vibe to the whole experience. The hotel staff made us feel very welcome and was helpful in making our stay the most comfortable possible. Higly recommend if you are visiting the area.

The hotel property is very nice and the staff was exceptional. Except the air in the room was very stale and hot, and we were put right next to the road so it was very noisy and hard to sleep, the roof of the room is made from wood so along with car noise and a bus of people being very loud at 6am then around 7:30 the people upstairs walked on top of our heads for an hour and cars almost shake the room. Also the pool is too cold in May to swim…all in all it is a nice hotel with very polite staff but I recommend asking for a quiet room away from the road and a fan for a decent sleep. Breakfast was very good.
