Great location and very cozy hotel. The girls in the reception are very very sweet and friendly. Breakfast is usually good but this time understaffed with result of empty plates, no bread and so on. Terrible cleaning, this time. I stayed 4 nights and everyday was like nobody even bothered to go in. Bathroom was clean though. Bed nearly unmade (!!) and floor not cleaned. Had to ask the receptionist to either tell the cleaning lady to go in again or at least leave the vacuum cleaner to do it myself. So this time I was not so happy, last year the same trip these elements were better. But the hotel overall is good with very comfortable beds.

Charming hotel, with old world architecture and furnishings, but with new world amenities. We stayed 4 nights and 5 days in a spacious and bright room on the 2nd floor, warmly named: The Lieutenants Room. We would have loved the Captain's room since we were staying for a while...but enjoyed our room nonetheless. The breakfast and dinner buffets are not so impressive but given the location and it being corona times, there was a good selection of food. The only annoying thing is there are quite a bit of noise outside in the mornings. From 9am to 12pm the beeping sound of reversing trucks doesn't stop and it is quite annoying. Hotels, should really inform their guests about such things.

Unprofessional staff welcoming , once i have reached the hotel 5:30 AM during my first day booking duration , receptionist told me that my reservation has been canceled as I did not show at the reception during the day , despite of that the payment for two days hade been done since around a month , this is totally not accepted as first it is not part of the contract & there is no specific timing for check in else than the starting , in addition it is an hotel and i have the right to enter once i need ( as i might face some issues with flight arrival , tren schedules ) During the check-out date , my room was locked & my card is not valid despite that it was 11:30 AM , i have been left with only an a towel at the sauna till the room service opened my room door Is this a service ???

This hotel really surprised me! It’s such a lovely place to stay. It’s centrally located and has a lot of caracter. Staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and served in a very cozy environment. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I had a small balcony that extended my room and gave me some extra space to relax. And the best part of all, there are books everywhere. If you enjoy reading, this will be a paradise. Most of them of course are in Swedish, but i could even find an easy one to start reading Swedish. The first book is on the hotel and if you would like to take more than one, they sell you for a very reasonable price. Their restaurant is quite good as well. Köttbullar and entrecôte are delicious. I haven’t tried the spa as I stayed just for 2 days in the city. I will definitely try it next time. :)

We stayed here as two adults and one teenager in a Double Room with Balcony. The room was spacious and finished to a high standard for a hotel of its age and class. Views were spectacular! The free coffee and pastries at reception were a thoughtful and welcome offer for a Fika as and when it was needed. Staff at reception were incredibly accommodating and so helpful on multiple occasions. I can’t rate them highly enough. The meal I had in the Bistro was top-notch, really delicious and creative with a focus on local produce. I am giving four stars rather than five as breakfast was a bit underwhelming and the early closure of the bar at 11 pm without warning seemed excessive - I really wanted another bottle of that lovely cider!
