ChijiaoxingzoudexianrenI can honestly say this was the most satisfying hotel I stayed at in Australia, and it introduced me to the Meriton chain. The room was very spacious, and it had every appliance you could need, making it perfect for an extended stay. There are tons of Chinese restaurants nearby, and they're all pretty good. It's a shame I only stayed one day. I'm definitely considering Meriton for my next stop in Melbourne. I'm curious if the hotel offers any special rates for long-term stays. I hope the hotel can get back to me, as I'm interested in staying for a longer period.

DingjinmaiThe hotel is very close to the airport and offers a shuttle service, getting you there in about 20 minutes. The service is exceptionally thoughtful, and the facilities are comprehensive. If you have an early morning flight, staying at this hotel is a really great choice.

Yanhuo621I was in Sydney for a couple of nights for personal matters before flying to the Gold Coast, so I booked this hotel near the airport after a lot of searching. After arriving at T1 International Terminal, I followed the airport signs to the free shuttle bus to T3. From the T3 arrivals hall, it's about a 10-minute walk to the hotel according to the map. It's manageable if you don't have too much luggage, not a big deal. To get back to the airport, it's the same route. On the day I left, it was raining, so I took the hotel's airport shuttle, fearing my luggage would get wet if I walked. It cost $14, which isn't cheap, but a taxi would probably be similar.
Facilities: It's an older hotel, so the furniture and appliances are a bit dated. The bathroom has a bathtub, so you need to be careful getting in and out. You have to turn off the lights one by one. They don't provide complimentary bottled water; even the mini-bar water costs money. There's one free carton of milk. If you need a toothbrush and toothpaste, you have to ask the front desk. I always bring my own, so it wasn't an issue for me, but it's something to note if you don't. The room overlooks the airport terminal, and it's not too noisy.
Cleanliness: The housekeeping service was excellent and very thorough. They even tidied up my messy data cables and placed them neatly on the desk. The room looked very clean overall, even though the hotel is old.
Service: My early morning flight arrived, and by the time I cleared customs and walked to the hotel, it was past 10 am. I couldn't check in yet, but I could store my luggage. The public restrooms in the lobby were also very clean and spacious. I used the restroom to change clothes, quickly freshened up and put on some makeup, then left my luggage and went out to take care of my business.
Other: The hotel is near the airport. If you're heading into the city or elsewhere by train, the closest Mascot train station is about a 15-minute walk. It's not super close, but for younger people, this walking distance is acceptable. There are restaurants and a supermarket near the train station.
Overall, it's quite convenient to stay here if you have an early morning flight or a short stopover.

Pros: The decor is very stylish and well-designed. The breakfast was delicious. The atmosphere is quite young and has a great vibe.
Cons:
1. The location isn't particularly close to the airport, nor is it very far. I'd recommend hotels closer to Moscot Station instead.
2. The biggest issue is that the hotel room was smaller than expected. You definitely won't be able to fully open two 28-inch suitcases in there.
3. The staff weren't particularly helpful. When I needed to use a meeting studio for work, they tried to get me to use the large conference room in the lobby instead.

ChaokeaidexiaomolihuaThe hotel is a bit old, but it's pretty well-maintained, and the cleanliness is acceptable. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but it's on par with the hotel's price point, so you can't expect too much. I only stayed for one night, and among the hotels around the airport, I chose this one because its breakfast starts the earliest, at 6 AM. After breakfast, I can take the 420 bus to the airport, which takes about 20 to 30 minutes. This saves me money on breakfast at the airport and on a taxi. All in all, this hotel is suitable for travelers catching early morning flights.

Kirs110224The airport shuttle bus is hard to find, i have asked 2 airport stuffs but they both told me the different direction. But I found that the bus 350 at terminal 2 can reach the hotel just in 1 station and just costed AUD1, super convenience location. And I’m really appreciate the reception and staffs of the hotel, cuz I left my glasses in the hotel but I have been to Melbourne already. Their replies are so fast and helpful, they found my glasses and will keep it for me until I come back to sydney, thanks so much !!! Love it. The rooms is clean and tidy, and only 10-15mins walk, we can reach a residential area with lots of food shops. Happy stay!!

Anonymous UserYou can walk directly to the hotel from the domestic airport in about 15 minutes. However, if you're heading to the international airport the next day, you'll need a taxi or the hotel's shuttle bus (which costs $12 per person).
The hotel's hygiene is good, it's not noisy, and the beds are quite soft. The toiletries have a really lovely scent.

SHAOZHOUThe location is not bad, very close to the airport, but the road is built in front of the door, so it is still inconvenient. Hotel facilities, appliances are too old

猩猩C9 仔The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Mascot train station. I'd rather take the train to the Domestic Airport station, exit at T3, then take bus 350 (towards Bondi Junction) for two stops. Get off there and walk for 2 minutes.
The hotel is close to the airport, but there's no complimentary shuttle service, and it costs about AUD 12. If I didn't have heavy luggage, public transport would actually be much more convenient and cheaper.
The staff were friendly.
The room was generally clean and comfortable. The in-room Wi-Fi was decent, but the TV channels weren't appealing, and screen mirroring wasn't available.
Buffet breakfast, if paid separately, costs AUD 35.
What I appreciated most was the complimentary small carton of milk in the fridge.
