We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay at the Lumen Hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Check-in and out were all done in an efficient manner.
The location of the hotel is ideal; it is close to the metro, bus stops and also it is easily walkable, as compared to the old city area which has very steep streets, to the downtown area (some 45 minutes for strolling). Also far above our expectations, we could easily find a number of eateries nearby.
Every corner in the hotel is well-lit and clean. The room is spacious. The water pressure is very strong. Besides, the light shows which are on every night are spectacular and impressive.
Would certainly recommend to any travellers who wish to have a memorable stay in Lisbon.
I would like to call it the king of cost-effectiveness. The room is huge, the service is very good, there is a swimming pool, the breakfast is also very good, and the parking is free. The only disadvantage is that it is far from the old town, about 10 kilometers away, which is suitable for self-driving tourists. The four of us parked the car at the hotel and called Uber to the city center for only 10 euros
Highly recommended, stay here with confidence. Although the room description lacks information on the size, it's actually quite spacious. It has air conditioning, and the bathroom is clean and tidy.
It's close to both Entre Campos metro and train stations, and there's also a bus to the airport.
The hotel's breakfast has a good selection, including scrambled eggs, stir-fried mixed vegetables, fresh fruit, and even a small portion of salmon. It's very tasty.
There's no shortage of restaurants nearby, and since it's not a touristy area, most of them are run by locals, offering good food and affordable options.

I was staying here during the power outage, the staff are lovely and really took good care of us. Despite the outage, we still have electricity. Managed to sleep confortably aftwr that long walk fr the city center.
We booked 2 standard rooms and I asked to update 1 room to deluxe, to get sea view. They said, that I have to update both rooms together and it costs 1000 euros for 5 day and two rooms!!!! And our standard room was witout balcony with view to the jungle (untended garden). Reall disappoitment for paid money. Pool was extreamly cold (ca. 18 degrees and most of guests did not swim).
Room was nice and spacious.
Breakfest was super
Best hotel for sportsmen- a lot of opportunities for trainings.
Nice Spa
Overall, it's a good hotel. The breakfast buffet is filling. There's an indoor pool, so it's popular with families. There's also free wifi. I was able to reserve a room with a bathroom, so I was able to relax after my trip.
However, it's older now than the hotel photos.
Still, it was a good hotel.
The room is clean and hygienic, the service facilities are complete, the experience is comfortable, the sea view is very beautiful, and the hotel service is also very good
Be sure to book a sea view room! ! awesome! ! We slept with the balcony door open at night, and it was so nice to fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves. The new decoration of the room is great, but there is a smell. location number ONE! !
This is an old castle remodeled. It looks amazing from the outside, but the hotel entrance is very ordinary, and the entrance is almost impossible to find. The other decorations and rooms are ok. It is comfortable but not luxurious. It is easy to access nearby attractions convenient. The terrace of the room faces the sea and there are many yachts.

GGuest UserDecent location. Room size was fair however the floors could have been cleaner. The blanket was very thin and even with the heat on, I had to fold the blanket in half so that I would be warmer. The room was quite noisy, I could hear people talking in the hallways, their rooms, and there is quite a lot of traffic by the elevator. The bathroom was ok, the shower water pressure was nice but the temperature control was a bit difficult to turn. The sink water did not have any warm water option, and it felt quite wasteful every time you needed water from the sink it would keep running until it turned off. The wifi was spotty at times but when it did work it was fine. They had a bar and welcome drink which was nice, the outside patio also looked cute. The breakfast was a bit disappointing: toast, cereal, some fruit, and cucumbers and tomatoes. One gentleman asked for coffee and the attendant pointed to the machine and said ”it's all there”, but when I looked at the machine, all the coffee options said ”unavailable”. The machine needed some cleaning as well. The selection of teas were quite nice though. The location is decent, about 10 min walk from the start of the Avenida da Liberdade. They do have a kitchen on the ground floor if you preferred to cook your own meal (which would have been better than the disappointing dinner I had). They offer walking tours too which is cool. Typical hostel experience.
GGuest UserVery nice hotel!! We spent our vacation there 4 nights. Clean and good amenities, good for photos. Nice service with everyday room cleaning.Staff are mostly friendly. We received a little presents because of my boyfriend’s birthday. A little improvement is the room view it is blocked by wire. Would be better if they have the airport shuttle service as mentioned. The spa was the best part of this hotel 😆 We have been there twice and its free of charge! This hotel is a great deal in my point.
KkukIt’s such a lovey hotel to be staying at. Friendly staffs and can accommodate any requests we asked. As our departure to the airport was at 4:45am early in the morning, I requested to have some sandwiches and drinks to pick up before we left the hotel, instead, they had prepared a big box of food consisted of cheese and ham sandwich, apple, banana, juice and water for us. We heartfelt for what they have done to us. Indeed everyday, we have full breakfast delivered to our room n the food was decent. Also, one night there was a movie night by the pool side, and I found it amazingly care and trying their best to fulfill everyone’s needs. The hotel room is clean and very high standard. I will highly recommend people to stay in this hotel/ serviced apartment ( as it come with an open kitchen). And we happened to stay at their hotel on their 1st anniversary, and celebrated with us and with a delicious cake! 😜
NNic^1Staff were polite and attentive. The hotel was located in close proximity and short walk from Parque Eduardo VII and Marques Pombal metro station. On arrival, our room was upgraded from a one bedroom apartment to a more roomier corner convent apartment, which was a nice surprise. The hotel pool was busy every day, and therefore, we did not get a chance to use it. It was also on the smaller side. Overall, the hotel was lively and well located. We would stay there again if we were in Lisbon.

GGuest UserWe had an amazing stay at this hotel in Lisbon! The service was excellent—staff were friendly and always ready to help. The amenities were top-notch and very clean, making our stay super comfortable. The location was also convenient for exploring the city. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting with friends!
PPauloSecond stay in this hotel. This time I stayed for 3 days.
Things were ok but there were a couple of details that were not up to I expected.
Unfortunately, pool and steam room were still under renovations so only sauna was available.
One of the days, the cleaning lady took all my bath towels and forgot to replenish it and she just left me with only a single hand towel.
I had to do to the front office to ask for a set of bath towels to take shower. Shout out to Joaquim from front office, that he actually after his shift came up to hand me a new set of towels.
Also on the second day during breakfast I took an egg that was supposed to be boiled and after I cracked it, I made a mess of myself and the table, as the kitchen staff had put raw eggs on display, instead of boiled eggs.
I will still eventually choose to stay in this hotel as it has an amazing co-working lobby, a nice bar and an overall nice atmosphere, but these 2 events were not very pleasant.
