This Europe trip, I used Amsterdam, Netherlands, as a layover hub, so I needed a stable night's stay at an airport hotel. There were many options around Schiphol Airport, and after considering everything, I chose this Marriott-brand hotel.
**Environment:**
It's about a fifteen-minute drive from the airport. The straight-line distance isn't far, but the car has to take a roundabout route. The surroundings of the hotel are quite ordinary, but the interior is pretty good. The lobby bar is a plus, there's a Spanish restaurant and a Starbucks cafe, and the lobby design has a very artistic vibe with excellent greenery. In the courtyard, there's a 1:1 scale model of a Boeing plane, which might even be a retired one moved directly here, quite interesting.
**Facilities:**
Overall, the facilities are complete, with an indoor swimming pool, a gym, an underground cinema, meeting rooms, and a supermarket. The rooms are a bit small, and even the triple room felt a bit cramped. The swimming pool is nice though; although not large, it's well-equipped with a sauna and steam room. The changing room amenities are a bit basic.
**Hygiene:**
The public areas are excellent, the room was a bit messy. The lobby bar is very comfortable, providing a relatively clean and tidy resting place for transit passengers.
**Service:**
The front desk service was average. There weren't any special benefits for Marriott members; late check-out was 10 euros an hour. I paid 50 euros to extend my check-out time. However, the shuttle bus was a major highlight – very punctual and convenient for getting to and from the airport. We also used the shuttle bus plus train to go downtown, which worked out quite well.
**Overall:**
There aren't too many choices around the airport. Paying 2,000 RMB for one night plus five hours of late check-out didn't feel like great value for money. Given the high demand from transit passengers, the hotel seemed to be doing very well.
The hotel facilities are all very new. It's only about a 10-15 minute drive from the airport. The location isn't the most convenient if you're looking to go shopping, but if you're just staying here, the environment and the hotel's amenities are excellent for the price. The room itself is standard, not overly large. I'd definitely recommend it for business trips or short stays, and it's managed by Marriott, which is a plus.

Have a stay of one night at Corendon Urban Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel for a quick stopover. The free shuttle bus from Schiphol Airport made getting there hassle-free. Now under Marriott, members can earn points and enjoy perks like a welcome drink.
The hotel has an apartment-style setup, making it feel more spacious and home-like. My room was comfortable and well-equipped for a short stay. There’s also an indoor swimming pool, laundry facilities, a mini-mart, and vending machines for added convenience. If you’re driving, the hotel offers parking and EV chargers.
Overall, a great option for a short airport stay with excellent facilities—wish I had more time to enjoy them!
room was decent and clean. staff was welcoming and quite courteous and even they offered complimentary coffee while leaving.
just a minor mistake was made by the booking person that they charged city tax twice whereas i paid right at the time of booking through trip.com .
so i provided them the booking voucher and they later on checked the record and returned the tax amount that they charged earlier.
The hotel features a truly distinctive design and decor, housed in a charming, vintage-style building. It's well worth experiencing. Breakfast was quite good, and the dining area offered lovely views. It offers good value for money. Do note that getting to the train station requires walking.

Brilliant hotel. We stayed here for Dekmantel festival. A short bus to the festival site. The hotel has a free shuttle to the airport which was great too. Walking distance to shops to pick up food if you want to cook. Huge spacious rooms, really clean too. The highlight was the wellness centre. The pool was the perfect size, and great having the sauna and steam room. They messed up our booking on the first night but were very apologetic and offered free breakfast for the remainder of our stay.
The hotel looks really spectacular from the outside. The location is also very nice and convenient. It is right next to the train station and there are various shops and restaurants around. The swimming pool, spa and sauna is relaxing and good. The hotel also provides luggage storage.
However, the rooms inside weren’t comfortable at all, especially the cleanliness is concerning. The toilets had poo stains on, the sink had some vomiting looking stains on. The view is blocked, and we weren’t informed about this or given a choice to upgrade/change rooms when we checked in. The beds were very small and there is no socket next to the beds. Only one socket is available for visitors to use which was near the desk. There were very little food options in the breakfast.
An Unforgettable Stay in Amsterdam: An Experience Worth Repeating!
We had the pleasure of staying at this magnificent hotel in Amsterdam for 4 days with our family, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our choice! It was an exceptional experience.
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, always ready to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The family rooms were a real revelation: spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed. We particularly appreciated the comfortable beds and the ample space, which made our sleep truly rejuvenating after long days spent exploring the city by bike.
The breakfast was super generous. From sweet to savory delicacies, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, and drinks of all kinds, there was truly an abundance of choice. Starting the day with such a rich and delicious breakfast gave us the energy we needed to tackle our adventures in Amsterdam.
The hotel's location was also strategic, allowing us to easily reach the city's main attractions, as well as the airport and Keukenhof Park, the Zaanse Schans, and Volendam-Marken. The garage for the rental car at the airport and the possibility of renting bicycles directly at the hotel were great. Not to mention the magnificent garden with a pool, which we weren't able to use.
In short, this hotel helped make our Amsterdam vacation an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality stay, especially families.

The location is a bit out of the way, but it has a king-size bed and a kettle, which is great for Chinese travelers. There are no shopping facilities, and breakfast is expensive. However, there's a convenient shuttle bus to the airport. Getting to and from the city center by public transport isn't ideal as you have to walk a fair distance.
had a great 11-day stay! The hotel was clean and well-maintained throughout my visit. The room was spacious, comfortable, and the Wi-Fi speed was consistently good, which was perfect for my longer stay. The location is ideal if you're looking for a quiet area slightly away from the hustle of the city. It's in a peaceful neighborhood but still very convenient—just a few meters from the Overamstel metro station, making it easy to get around.
They also have great amenities, including a lovely swimming pool and an on-site restaurant that’s both convenient and enjoyable. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would happily come back again.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very convenient. It is within walking distance of most tourist attractions in the city center. The hotel staff are very polite and the room is cleaned every day. It is a hotel that I highly recommend. I will definitely stay here next time👍
HHarryXZObviously, the price is expensive, which is four times higher than that in Shanghai.
It is definitely not comparable to Bulgari and J in Shanghai. Not every room has a bathtub.
So, the lower the expectations, the less disappointment. However, the hotel breakfast is a feature, and you can enjoy the local culture slowly.
I took some photos for your reference

AAnonymous UserThe hotel facilities are quite old. The location is good, right next to the train station, and Dam Square is just a few steps away. However, the rooms are dated. I had already paid the tax on the platform, but when I arrived at the front desk, they still asked me to pay it again. Only after I showed them the platform's order confirmation did they say it was okay and I didn't need to pay. If someone who doesn't speak English well were traveling, they might very well end up paying the tax again. The room price was around 2500, which is too expensive given the old interior decor.

AAnonymous UserFor a W hotel, the experience was not as good as it is in other locations
The location is ok , but the tram passing by and the noisy bars might be noisy especially when you are on lower floors
The room is OK , nothing really special about it, and feel soulless with kitchy decorations and wall paintings
Breakfast is not bad as well
Cleaning is ok but i found a silverfish on the room… not to mention as well that some amenities are not replaced if used… unless ordered
Most of the staff were really helpful and nice , except a very rude one on the bank checkin counter that should change jobs if it’s annoying her that much
The pool , spa and lounge and gym are really amazing but unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy them as much as we wanted because of the weather and time constraints
Overall , i would say it’s a good value for money but there are better options in Amsterdam!
