We are couples traveling to Miri. The hotel is around 25mins away from the airport. When I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by the bellman and assisted me with my luggage. Overall the experience was pleasant. Check in process is smooth. However, I noticed some aspects of the room could be improved. Like the flooring damages and the toilet stains. Housekeeping also did not replenished the room amenities. Addressing these would make the stay truly exceptional. Thank you for the hospitality, and I look forward to staying with you again!

Massive renovation. Stay here if you looking for location and attractive hotel rate. Early check in possible if available. Late check out up to 6pm is MYR150. Reception. on 21st floor. Breakfast on 22nd floor. Amenities nothing much. Room was spacious. Showering water pressure very hard. Breakfast spread was varied and tasty. Location was within walking distance to attractions.

Breakfast at the Chinese Resto ( Gu Jin) was awesome! Love the siew mai and dumplings. Definitely will  go again! Kudos Sheraton Kuching.

A great stay in waterfront, old hotel, but the furniture and cleanliness still acceptable. Great for business traveller. But suggest hotel to make a specific smoking area outside the hotel, so the smokers not standing right infront of entrance smoking and disturbing the incoming guest, the smokes are ”welcoming” the guest giving unplesant experience. Very convenient access to shopping mall, but the shopping mall are old, not much star shop and eatable food, no much chinese food, nearby chinatown also not vibrant. All shops are closed. The good thing about this hotel is the direct access to shopping mall and basement parking, free parking for guest in and out without paying, ideal for car rental guest, no need to worry about raining. Loccitane shower and shampoo really good and add points.

This is our repeated stay in this hotel. For the Jan 25 stay, the Staff was kind enough to meet my request to stay in new wing, high floor with a river view. We are happy with our stay at the hotel.

Stayed at a hotel just opposite the famous Cat Statue in Kuching, and overall, it was a decent experience. The location is definitely the highlight – everything is within walking distance, and there’s even a sampan service right behind the hotel, which made it really convenient to explore the area. The room itself was okay. The aircond worked well – maybe a bit too well since it was freezing cold at times. The bed was on the harder side, not exactly my preference. The bathroom looked a bit dated, with a bathtub included, but honestly, I would’ve preferred a separate shower and tub. However, one thing that could be improved is the bathrobe – it was way too thin. Breakfast was okay, especially since they served local favorites like Sarawak Laksa and Kolo Mee. In short, great location, decent breakfast, but the room comfort could be better. Perfect for a short stay if you want easy access to tourist spots.

Overall experience was good. The family enjoyed the stay. But there's room for improvement.. We were given a room facing the back yard of the building even though we booked a room facing the pool. I did ask for change but was told all rooms were already occupied, even though we were amongst the earliest to check in and many others came later after us but given room facing the pool.

It is beside Theater Hotel. Inside there are a lot of small rooms. So the problem is all not sound proof. Try to sleep late in the morning, but someone starts playing songs from their mobile phone loudly and then workers start talking to each other making jokes. Very inconsiderate. The management needs to know, workers are there to clean and tidy, NOT SPEAKING LOUDLY !!

Very nice hotel. Easy access to food during night time. Nice parking system. Really love the bathroom design. Very lovely! 🥰 Was given complimentary gelato for our stay here.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The accommodation quit nice and the room was large. But there is a couple of issues. First, I was able to hear a noise from the room next door. Also, I was disappointed to find the amenities provided only for one person instead of two. But overall, I enjoyed my time.

The place was just nice, near to the shopping centre.They should improve the car park area, need to provide parking lot for hotel guests only, it's took me a hour to find available parking, especially during lunch time. For the room,there are cockroaches in my room. Luckily they move us to the nicer room. But there's noisy from the construction outside during rest time. So far i like this hotel, nice breakfast as well.

I recently had a one-night stay at Jinhold Hotel and Apartment in Miri during a transit stop, and here is my review: Strengths: -Affordable and Budget-Friendly: At just SGD 60 per night, this hotel offers excellent value for travelers seeking convenience without breaking the bank. -Prime Location with Exceptional Accessibility: The hotel is ideally located directly across from Miri Airport, making it a perfect choice for transit travelers or those with early flights. The complimentary hourly shuttle van service was especially helpful. For our 8 AM flight, we needed to be at the airport by 6 AM for check-in and baggage drop, and the shuttle service provided seamless transportation without the hassle of arranging additional transport. -Secure Parking Facilities: An added benefit was the option to rent a parking space in the hotel’s basement. We opted to leave our car there at a reasonable rate of RM53 per night. The facility was secure, giving us peace of mind while we were away. -Spacious and Functional Accommodations: The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with the essential amenities one would expect from a transit hotel. While the facilities were simple, they were practical and met our basic needs comfortably. Areas for Improvement: -Elevator Reliability: One of the elevators presented some issues during our stay. It lacked air-conditioning, and its performance was somewhat erratic. Upon our return to pick up our car, we noted that the same elevator was out of service entirely, which was inconvenient for guests needing access to the basement parking. -Bed Design Flaws: The bed’s structure could use significant improvement. It consisted of two mattresses placed on a wooden platform, but the edges of the mattresses tended to tilt outward. This created an unstable sleeping experience and gave the impression that one might roll off the bed if not positioned carefully. Conclusion: Overall, Jinhold Hotel and Apartment is a highly convenient and budget-conscious option for transit travelers. Its proximity to Miri Airport, coupled with the free shuttle service and secure parking facilities, makes it an appealing choice. Despite minor issues with the elevator and bed design, the practicality and affordability outweigh these drawbacks. I would consider staying here again for the convenience it provides.

Good hotel for family and others, quality of service very nice and customer service very humble. so far the hotel is very good.

Firstly, I had a quality stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and the check in was quick and fast. The room looks modern. The bed is comfortable. The amenities and facilities were top notch. Parking is limited. All in all, I highly recommend this property. In a nutshell, I will definitely stay again.

This hotel is modern and in a great location. We stayed here as we were attending a nearby wedding and the full length mirror in the room was really handy. This hotel is right next to street of street food vendors and nearby the very delicious Cafe 63. I would totally recommend this hotel to anybody who visits Miri.

Overall, the resort was really old and tired looking and lacks a lot of the modern amenities that newer resorts come equipped with. If your room is not located at the main building itself, be prepared to walk quite a fair bit. The resort was not properly maintained, especially the footpaths and landscaping. Staff however was friendly and buffet breakfast was good with many choices. Needs refurbishment asap

Lock on our door didn't work so were moved to another room with a double bed which was small and very bouncy. Then moved to another room which smelt of cigarette smoke...non-smoking hotel but guests ignore that. Breakfast was okay. Options for Western and Malay tastes. The pool area is lovely to sit out in the evening with a view over the city and ocean in the distance. The staff at this hotel are very helpful, want to make sure you are comfortable and always smiling
