It is a very nice resort. We stayed 6 nights in a sunset water villa. The room might be a bit dated, but it is fully equipped, in good condition, and housekeeping is excellent. Definitely recommended! The sunset there is fantastic, and being able to step straight into the sea from your villa is lovely. Many fish swim past, sometimes small sharks and rays, and we even saw turtles right under the villa! An advantage of a water villa is the Southern Star restaurant, which is truly fantastic. A huge selection and very high-quality food. The staff is very welcoming and does their utmost to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Compliments to Neen and Anwar in particular! In general, all the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Excursions are well organized, and we saw all the marine animals we were looking for (manta rays, whale sharks, turtles, dolphins); also highly recommended!
The only downside to the resort is the reception. Communication is poor, employees contradict each other, and they are not really helpful. We received a message to come and pay a bill; subsequently, they claimed to know nothing about it and sent us away, yet we received another message saying the bill was still outstanding. We had to ask for information about our transfer three times (they said they would inform us, but we are still waiting for their update). You have to chase them up yourself, which is simply not good for a resort like this, and unlike other departments, they just don't radiate any passion. A failing grade in this area.
Otherwise, highly recommended!
The service is very good. At present, there is a Chinese lady who works here. The food ordered in the restaurant is 30-50 US dollars. Some are cafeterias that are about 200 US dollars per person. The island is not big, but the room facilities are also a bit old, especially those made of wood. The facilities can be generally

- No one met us at the airport/pier, it turns out the girl was standing at the counter doing nothing, not even suspecting that we would be there, judging by her reaction, they were told the time in advance
- They promised that we would fly straight to the hotel, in the end they sent other people, as the employee said, because they have a lot of luggage, and you don’t, wait, shock…
- They answer your email once a day, you ask a clear question, they ask again, I have no desire to communicate with them at all
- (!) At 17:30 they put up a smoke curtain around the island, this is some kind of ******, against mosquitoes. You can understand everything, but why is this done in the middle of the day? Can't they do it at night or early in the morning?
- In an Italian restaurant where fish swim, the waiter said not to throw food for the fish, although they swim there because they are fed. What kind of trash is this?
- You need to make a reservation for this Italian restaurant, for this you need to write in the application that is given upon check-in. No one answers there.
- One day they called with cleaning at 8:55 in the morning. Their system does not show that the card is inserted and people are inside. Is everything ok?
- When the staff rides bikes along the road, it can be heard in the villas on the water
- The game area needs repair, it looks old.
- Pros. Delicious food: breakfast/dinner buffet and Italian restaurant. Clean water and beaches, no garbage on the territory.
- Summary. Reception, communication with clients - this is the worst side, they are somewhere flying in the clouds, and this is the face of the hotel. Thais are different, they are hard workers, they work: the Thai girl who meets people is great, also the Thai at the entrance to the buffet and the Thai cook are great.
It was my first time to visit Lux Maldives. Although it was an all-inclusive package, I was asked to pay an extra 500+ USD for lunch without any notice from the hotel or the housekeeper. The seaplane time we were notified before going to the island was 15:30, but when we arrived at the Lux seaplane lounge, we were notified that we could only fly at 17:00. After arriving on the island, the butler told us that the first two days were all-inclusive. We could enjoy any restaurant except Italian and Japanese restaurants for free, including bars and cafes, etc. Since we arrived on the island at more than 6 o'clock in the evening, dinner was included that night, and the next day's breakfast, lunch and dinner were all included in the all-inclusive package, and the day after that was breakfast and lunch. Since the children got up late the next day, they went swimming after breakfast, and went back to the room for a nap when they were tired of swimming. When they woke up at about three o'clock, they packed up and went to beach rouge for lunch. Because the butler would send the business hours of various restaurants for the next day the day before, we saw that beach rouge's business hours were 12:00-17:00, but when we paid the bill, we were told that we had to pay more than 500 US dollars at our own expense. I asked the butler myself and was told that lunch after 14:00 in the afternoon would be at our own expense. OK, no problem, if the hotel or butler informed us in advance when checking in, we would definitely pay attention to control the lunch time before 14:00. However, without any notice and without our room rate including lunch, and the restaurant's lunch hours clearly stated 12:00-17:00, you insisted on asking us to pay for it ourselves. Of course I couldn't agree. This is clearly your dereliction of duty. Why should I pay for it? It's too deceptive. It feels so bad 👎 The experience was very bad, and you didn't let us leave without signing the bill. Obviously, you didn't inform us during our stay, and we strictly abided by the lunch hours issued by the housekeeper. When checking in, it was also clearly stated that lunch was included in the room rate that day. I can't stand it 😓 I will defend my rights to the end! Another thing is that we experienced a storm the night before leaving the island. The room we stayed in was a romantic water pool villa, which required us to walk a long way every day. Buggy was not responsible for picking up guests from the water villa, so we had to walk or ride a bicycle by ourselves. That night, it was stormy and windy. We waited in the restaurant for a long time but it didn't get better, so we decided to go back to the room with an umbrella. On the way, my child and I were almost blown off the pier and fell into the sea, and there were no protective measures on both sides of the pier. Thinking about it afterwards, I was really scared. If I couldn't hold the umbrella and was blown into the sea by the wind, I would never come back. Because the wind and waves are huge, those who want to book a water villa must be cautious!!!
Instructor Ammaty made our stay at Lily Beach a perfect experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Our time at Lily Beach Resort was absolutely amazing, but the highlight was undoubtedly the exceptional instruction provided by Instructor Ammaty at the Water Sports Center. As someone who was previously afraid of the water and completely inexperienced in it, I was initially hesitant to try snorkeling. However, Ammaty, with his incredible support and professionalism, transformed my trepidation into pure excitement!
From the very beginning, Ammaty treated my situation with incredible patience and empathy. On the beach, he took the time to teach me the basics step-by-step using a kickboard and calmly demonstrated how to breathe through a snorkel. His clear explanations, encouraging words, and unwavering faith in my ability to learn made all the difference! Within minutes, I felt safe and eager to explore the underwater world.
In the water, Ammaty was truly exceptional. He stayed by my side, ensuring my safety while gracefully guiding me through the magnificent coral reefs. His attentiveness and dedication allowed me to fully immerse myself in the experience, without a trace of fear. Furthermore, he was more than happy to help me capture those special moments, taking countless wonderful photos. He knew how much these images meant to me—a huge thank you! I never imagined I could enjoy snorkeling so deeply, but Ammaty made it possible.
What truly sets Ammaty apart is his genuine passion for sharing the beauty of the ocean with others. His knowledge of marine life is astounding, and he enthusiastically points out colorful schools of fish, coral formations, and other underwater wonders. His kindness, professionalism, and infectious enthusiasm make every moment underwater unforgettable.
It's rare to find someone who not only excels in their role but also makes guests feel genuinely cared for. Ammaty is not only a skilled instructor but also a warm and inspiring person. He's the reason I've found confidence in the water today, and why I can't wait to return to Lily Beach.
If you're a beginner or hesitant snorkeler, Ammaty is the ideal guide for you. Thank you, Ammaty, for such a delightful and empowering experience. You're a true treasure! I look forward to seeing you again soon.
Finally, I'd also like to thank Dina, Anas, Razan, and the entire team for their sea fishing trip with me and their wonderful traditional drumming performance on the evening of September 5th. I was completely captivated by the lively atmosphere and rhythmic flow that night. I'm also grateful to the rest of the staff at the watersports center. Thank you all for these precious memories. Meeting you later on made up for my initial disappointment with the unpleasant Chinese host upon arrival. The Maldives' scenery is undoubtedly unparalleled, but I think my best memories of this time here are made up for by my friends (especially Ammaty). This was the most perfect trip!
Honestly, we had one of our best vacations ever! The Fiyavalhu Resort's personnel provided great services to us and made as feel really special. We stayed at a nice villa, which was in great condition and well equipped, it also provided us privacy and quietness. The food was nice, but not great. I would recommend to have more options for fruits and vegetables, other than that the seafood was very good. The whole resort is very well maintained and stuff is taking great care of its condition.
Do not read negative comments on internet - I can guarantee you that they are not honest and genuine. I would recommend it Fiyavalhu 100%!
The rooms at Moofushi are not luxurious, but everything is very comfortable, the food is very good, the view, the water and the service are really good, it can be regarded as a hexagonal fighter, snorkeling is highly recommended, Alizee's dishes are great, the red and white wines provided by the all-inclusive package are very well selected 👍, a perfect holiday

AAnonymous UserThe resort is beautiful, but the service was disappointing compared to other places I’ve stayed. Staff professionalism needs improvement. I booked a Half-Board Water Villa, but only breakfast and dinner were included—drinking water at dinner wasn’t complimentary. The food selection was limited and not particularly tasty.
Service felt inattentive. I had to introduce myself multiple times, yet our butler still got my name wrong. On checkout day, we even received a message that felt like we were being rushed out—quite impolite. One male staff member also made guests uncomfortable by asking for their contact details, which felt unprofessional.
Buggy service was slow. Once at the lobby, the receptionists ignored us and continued chatting even after the buggy had arrived, until the driver had to come find us himself. It was frustrating.
The underwater restaurant is photogenic, but hot and full of fish. Food was average—bring sunglasses, a hat, and lots of sunscreen.
This was my fourth luxury resort experience, and unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this one. Beautiful property, but poor service. Not worth the price. Needs improvement.

GGuest UserVery good. My daughter and I both think this is the best hotel on this trip. The price-performance ratio is also very high. The food in the restaurant is very delicious. The only downside is that there is a waiter in the restaurant who has been courteous and does not want tips, but asks us to buy him a hookah. After we refused, he went to buy it himself and signed our room. When we checked out, we found this matter and communicated with the hotel. The hotel will refund the money to us.
ZZaoshuizaoqikeingIt is a perfect resort hotel, the hotel is very new, the design concept is also very new, and all the facilities are very advanced. The food is also delicious with a good variety.
I live in the water house in room 220, and their water house has a jacuzzi. I feel that the jacuzzi is more practical than the swimming pool. After swimming in the sea, you can take a hot bath directly, perfect!
The included teppanyaki was unexpectedly good, in the form of interactive performances. The chef from the Philippines is skilled, serving about 6.7 guests at a table, and everyone is very happy...
The relative disadvantage is that the Chinese service on the island is still a little less compared to the proportion of domestic guests. After all, it is a bit painful to use your own plastic English to deal with curry English every day... You can consider adding some Chinese menus or something.
Generally speaking, it is a super nice hotel. My daughter almost cried when she left, and specially asked me to give them a 6-star review^_^
