Hotels With Pools in Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, Morocco

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Tangier Al Houara Resort & Spa. The resort is luxurious, beautiful, and comfortable, offering a wide range of amenities and activities such as surfing, quad biking, scootering, cycling, padel, and multiple swimming pools. There are also fun activities for children during the day. We stayed on an all-inclusive basis, which included an extensive breakfast and dinner buffet. Additionally, there are several restaurants available, providing plenty of variety. Our main points of concern were the resort's distance from the center of Tangier; it takes at least 30 minutes to reach many of the attractions. Also, music was played in the inner courtyard in the evenings, which might be less pleasant for guests with children staying close to the square. Furthermore, children's activities stopped around 5 PM, and there was no evening entertainment for kids. Another thing we noticed was a lot of nudity and scantily clad guests around the pool and beach area, which might not be comfortable for everyone. Despite these points, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the resort to anyone looking for luxury, relaxation, and a wealth of facilities.

The staff is incredibly friendly and made my stay as easy as possible. The rooms with mountain views can be a bit noisy as the road passes right below. The rooms with sea views are much quieter. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. I would definitely return.

The location of the Ibis hotel was really convenient, and the room was comfortable enough for a few days’ stay. The amenities were quite basic though — just shampoo and a towel — but overall it worked fine for a short trip.

Very nice hotel at beautiful Tamuda Bay. The room is spacious, equipped with everything you can expect of a hotel of this class. The staff is welcoming. Breakfast is good, many choices of pastry, meat, fruits, juices, local dishes, too. The pool isn't huge and mostly occupied by families with kids, but it has beach chairs and umbrellas, as well as the beach itself. Although it's not 100% private, the hotel has its own slice of shore where the beach chairs are located (free for guests). The beach is neighboring the Royal Palace which is not allowed for visiting — including its stretch of the beach. But this makes the hotel beach the last available and a deadend in a way, this is why it's not crowded at all comparing with the city beach. The beach itself is nice, covered with seashell debris, the sea bottom is sand, and the entrance is easy and sloppy. The city is within 15 minutes walking. All in all, everything is perfect but there is one huge BUT. Every single night there was a party going on in the hotel courtyard. We stayed there for five nights, and every night the party ended between 23:30 and 0:50. We called the reception, but they couldn't do anything. It was unexpected and wasn't mentioned in another reviews. So if you prefer calm places or you're with kids who need to go to bed early, you might consider another options.

The hotel environment is very good, in the ancient city, travel is very convenient, the surrounding is very lively, the hotel staff are very kind, the cleanliness is also very satisfactory, I like it very much, and I will come back to the hotel.

The Hotel is Very well located, Just few steps from the Kasbah and the old town. It has lovely views from the rooms of the Rif mountains. The staff is very nice, they helped to relocate us in a different room, they speak various languages. Although I have to say they even though we saw the pictures of the Hotel online, the front desk lady, gave us the worst room, and the Hotel was almost empty due to low season. Being honest, this is NOT A 4 Star hotel. For many reasons, at best a 3 star and stretching it. The decoration and furniture are VERY OLD, the windows in our room where broken so they didn’t close well. The Bathroom mat had holes in it, and the closet doors didn’t close well too. Some of the hall decoration looked very sad and very used, also it lacked light in it. The breakfast was very poor in its variety, (no fruits, or vegetables, no yogurt or cereals). It’s not a bad place, but if you are looking for a 4 star accommodation or amenities, this is not the place for you. I don’t think it was a fair price for what they are offering.

Very good hotel has excellent location, customer service reception staff at check in was very helpful and polite. The location is excellent the breakfast was very good fresh offered many choices and the staff from the restaurant manager to waiters were excellent. They welcomed every day with a nice smile and remembered your choice of tea coffee. Manager Abdel Moughit and all staff, Karim, Youssra and Azize were excellent. Thank you guys for making this stay very good.

The location is excellent—quiet, away from the city’s noise, and offering a beautiful sea view that makes for a very relaxing stay. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the young staff were kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout my visit. I would recommend this hotel to travelers across different budgets. That said, there are a few areas for improvement. The rooms rely on air conditioning for heating, which was not very comfortable. A proper heating system, such as external radiators, would greatly improve guest comfort. During my 9-night stay, this issue unfortunately contributed to me catching a cold. Additionally, installing bidets in the bathrooms would be a valuable upgrade, as this is an important feature many travelers appreciate but is currently missing. It is a relatively small investment that could significantly enhance the overall guest experience.

Hotel Mercure always feels like coming home. Enjoy the beautiful view, and the staff is always helpful. The rooms are spacious and bright. Plenty of parking in the garage. In short, a lovely hotel with a beautiful view.

A very good hotel with European-level service. The staff is polite and always tries to help. It was a pleasant surprise to receive a room upgrade with a sea view for my birthday. The breakfasts are delicious and offer a great variety. It's convenient to have a swimming pool. There's also a small pool on the rooftop, but we didn't use it as it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Even though I mentioned it to the manager at the reception, they only removed the floating debris, but the tiles remained just as dirty. We recommend installing a smart box to allow streaming from a phone to the plasma TV in the room. It's also conveniently located for getting to the train station, with a 2-hour train ride to Casablanca. There are many restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance.
