The hotel's location is fantastic, making it very convenient for both transportation and shopping. The express bus terminal is also nearby. To reach the front desk, simply exit Oita ZR Station North Exit, turn right, go through a small door, and take the elevator up to the 8th floor. Check-in is available from 2 PM. Our room was quite spacious, located at the end of the hallway and featuring large windows on two walls. Unfortunately, they were sealed shut, preventing ventilation, but the air conditioning worked perfectly. The entire hotel was very clean. Despite our three-day stay, the staff promptly replaced our yukata and towels, provided bottled water, and offered warm, attentive service throughout. Breakfast was both plentiful and exquisitely presented, featuring beautiful seasonal Japanese bento boxes. Vending machines and ice makers are conveniently located on floors such as 11 and 14. Across from the front desk, complimentary toiletries and skincare products are available for guests to take as needed. The onsen was spotless and well-maintained, with excellent service. We absolutely loved the convenience of being able to dine directly after our bath. Soaking in the top-floor bath while enjoying the panoramic city views was incredibly relaxing.
This is a newly opened hotel with a strong industrial aesthetic. It's super conveniently located near Beppu JR Station, less than a 5-minute walk away. The hot spring is excellent and not crowded, making for a wonderfully relaxing soak. The room itself is exceptionally spacious and offers distant ocean views. All of this comes at a fantastic price. If I visit Beppu again, I'll definitely stay here. As for breakfast, well, personally, I found it just average.
The hotel is right next to Beppu Station, just a 2-minute walk from the seaside exit. The location is excellent. All guests are required to take off their shoes upon entering, and luggage carts are rolled over a cleaning cloth before shoes are stored. This hotel hosts many tour groups from Taiwan and Korea, so it can get very crowded. They offer service in both Chinese and Korean. As is standard for Domry hotels, they provide free late-night ramen and Yakult in the morning, along with free ice cream in the evening. The room size is moderate, and no cleaning service is provided. There are private and public onsen baths on the upper floors. For private baths, expect a queue starting around 7 PM and lasting until 12:30 AM (on weekends). Everything was very satisfactory.
Strategic location, the hotel is about 700-800m from the train station. In Japan it’s known to have a small bed for hotel, but it’s a pleasant surprise to note the bed is bigger than the “norm”. Very comfortable. In the winter/cold temperature, the centralise airconds were all “set” to heater. When we made a “complain” on the stuff/warm room, they are kind to offer a stand fan to put in our room. A big thumb ups for the buffet, a good spread, clean and delicious.
The hotel's location is convenient and the service was good, but the room was quite small. I didn't pay close enough attention when booking to see if it was a double bed or twin beds, and ended up with a very small room. It felt a bit cramped for two people.
This guesthouse has a story to tell in every corner, retaining some of its original Japanese style. The environment is quiet and clean. The evening hot spring bath is by reservation for one hour per group, allowing couples to enjoy a private bath together. A thorough introduction is provided before check-in. The owner is friendly and beautiful 🥰. Breakfast is a traditional breakfast (the rice is superb). I highly recommend allowing time to fully experience and appreciate every detail. Although the location is a bit far from the station (a 15-minute walk), I recommend taking a taxi from the station to the guesthouse. There's a luggage delivery service to the station upon check-out, so you don't need to rush to pick it up. You can pick up your luggage when you catch the train (luggage storage costs about 600-800 yen). You can easily stroll around Yufuin, enjoying the clean air and streets. If I had to point out a downside, it would be the noticeable dampness of the tatami mats, probably because it's near a mountain and quite humid. Also, being a guesthouse, they don't offer any services after 9 PM. We arrived very late and didn't have time to buy anything before checking in. There are no convenience stores nearby, and the guesthouse doesn't have vending machines selling food. But as long as you don't arrive right on time like we did, you won't have this problem. 🙂
Very good, excellent service, I lost my wallet and they found it for me. The bath was very comfortable, but it was a pity that private baths could not be booked. The public bath was very beautiful and the environment was quite good.
The first thing that impressed me about my stay was the excellent service. All the staff were very kind, polite, and warm, making my stay feel at ease.
The hotel is a little far from the station, but the surrounding area is very quiet, making it perfect for those looking for work or quiet time.
The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable, so I slept well. However, there were a few things that bothered me. First, I could hear footsteps from the floor above, so I felt like the soundproofing wasn't very good. Also, for some reason, the bathroom smelled like stale wastewater, which was disappointing.
All in all, the hotel offers good value for money and is highly recommended, especially for those looking for a comfortable, quiet environment.

This is a trip to Japan after 6 years. Instead of choosing the bustling cities of Honshu, I chose Kitakyushu and arranged a two-day one-night trip to Beppu. I booked this little-known hot spring hotel.
An unexpected accommodation experience. The front desk おばさん can speak English. When checking in, he helped me book the time for the private bath. It was very good! The environment and facilities of the hotel are very clean and hygienic. Even if you travel alone, it is very friendly. The single room is also very spacious. It is even equipped with a massage chair. After taking a private bath, a massage is really quite comfortable~~
When booking a hot spring hotel, you must book their one-night stay and two meals at the same time. The set meal experience for one morning and one night is also quite good. Although there is no big fish, meat, and fresh seafood for dinner, the content of Kaiseki cuisine is also not small, and it is very delicious. There is no dish that is not good. Breakfast is also a set meal. Although eating rice early in the morning is not in line with the Chinese people's dining habits, the rice there is delicious. Even I, who never eat breakfast, finished it all. It is not easy!
Remember, when you travel to small places in Japan in the future, there is no need to squeeze into those popular hotels that are crowded with tour groups or recommended on social software. Sometimes, small happiness and surprises can be obtained in such unknown small hotels!
I stayed in Beppu for 4 nights, trying different onsens at different hotels.Tsuruta was my last Beppu hotel. Although the room i stayed in is rather dated and items worn out, all necessary equipment are working very well, i stayed at a newer 4.5 star hotel prior and the air-conditioner, hair dryer and toilet exhaust were noisy and faulty, while in the older Tsuruta where everything works well! This don't judge a book by its cover, older hotels is just as good! I've attached a photo of the park and harbour view from my room at Tsuruta.

Great
HHuanxiangyishujiaRoyThis is the best value-for-money onsen hotel I've stayed at in Japan so far. The location is excellent, just a two-minute walk from the station. The minibar in the room comes with two white peach jellies, and they offer complimentary noodles in the evening. After a hot spring bath, you can grab ice cream at night and lactic acid drinks in the morning. The value for money here is truly outstanding!
NNalinee WirotbureeratVery good hotel and have lots of amenities for leisure traveller. I love Onzen at this hotel…they are separated for male and female and very clean. Really recommend for those who want to take a break and relax and getaway from your busy day.
DDraculazhiyiI stayed at Liguanfang for two consecutive nights, so I'd like to share my experience. From a location perspective, it's incredibly convenient, with several hot spring 'hells' in Kannawa just a five-minute walk away. Getting to and from the airport via the express bus is also very easy, and if you have a lot of luggage, they can even arrange delivery to the station. Regarding the environment, it's elegant, and there weren't many guests during my stay, so it was generally quiet. As for the room facilities, the hot spring water was exceptional – truly worthy of Kannawa Onsen, one of Beppu's Eight Hot Springs. The water was much better than another hotel I stayed at in Beppu; my skin felt noticeably smoother after soaking. From a food perspective, it was good. However, since I also stayed at another hotel in Beppu, the food here was slightly inferior by comparison, but still worth experiencing. Overall, it's an excellent onsen ryokan that's definitely worth a return visit!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel said it provides free shuttle from JR to hotel upon arrival at Yufuin with prior booking via email, but they didn’t reply email until you called them. Finally we need to walk to the hotel with our bulky luggages.
During check in, we checked with the female staff in short hair whether we can book a shuttle the next day, and she said they don’t have this service. When I asked again why they said in the booking description that the hotel provided free shuttle if they actually didn’t, she kept saying ‘No’!
When she explained the dinner arrangement, I told her one of our family members doesn’t eat beef. Then, she gave us a poker face and blamed us for not telling her earlier. However, the point is the hotel couldn’t be connected via email, and they didn’t specify that guests should have informed them the preferred meal before arrival.
Except this female staff at reception, other service staff are polite and friendly.
GGuest UserAmazing experience ✨ Warm Welcome by Ms . 西河。During stay also greeted by her . She clearly explained the entired hotel facilities and introduced features of hotel. Which made me felt comfortable. Thank you. I definitely will come back again

GGuest UserThis hotel is an annex of AMANEK YULA-RE, granting guests access to the main building's 16th-floor public bath (onsen) and 17th-floor outdoor infinity pool and Jacuzzi.
**Pros:**
1. **Excellent Location:** It's just a 5-minute walk from the JR station, the bus stop for Fukuoka, and the bus stop for the Beppu Hells. The Fukuoka-bound bus station (located near a shopping mall) is also conveniently reachable within a 10-minute walk.
2. **Stunning Infinity Pool:** The infinity pool offers breathtaking views, including Beppu Tower, and is perfect for photos. Unfortunately, it rained heavily during my stay, so it was deserted during the day. The operating hours are quite reasonable, covering most of the day during my visit.
3. **Impressive Lobby & Dining:** The main building's lobby boasts an impressive design. Dining options are available on the first floor, and at 3300 JPY (approximately 160 RMB), the price is quite reasonable, comparable to what you'd expect at a star-rated hotel in China.
4. **Convenient Amenities & Services:** Shower caps and other amenities are available for collection at the front desk. Luggage storage is also provided.
5. **Spacious & Quiet Rooms:** Rooms are spacious. The hotel is quiet, ensuring a very good night's sleep.
GGuest UserNot far from the train station and attractions, both are about a ten-minute walk away. The hotel is spacious and clean. Although it's a single person tatami room, it's quite large, and there's a beautiful view outside the window. The onsen's opening hours are very traveler-friendly, allowing you to enjoy a soak before midnight and in the early morning. I'll definitely come again next time!
