The hotel is right by the sea, very close to Dongmun Market and Chilseong-ro Street, and there's even a Black Pork Street nearby, making it super convenient for eating and shopping. However, the hotel facilities are quite old; the towels aren't very white, and the appliances are also dated.

Many travelers say the first impression is unforgettable: luxurious resort grounds with lush landscaping, elegant architecture, and panoramic views of Jeju’s coastline. The sense of calm here sets the tone for a truly relaxing getaway.

The room was great. On the first day, the mini-fridge wasn't working. I told the front desk, and by the time I came back, they had replaced it with a new, working one. The room was very warm; I didn't even need to turn on the heater. There's a McDonald's downstairs and an Olive Young (or something similar) cosmetics store not far away. The prices there were lower than those near the duty-free shop, I'm not sure why. You can use Gaode Maps to navigate to Udo Island, but don't trust its travel time estimates. It might say 1 hour, but it actually takes about 1.5 hours. I rode more bus stops than I ever have in my life – 82 stops! The sink in the bathroom drained slowly; I basically had to wash for a bit and then pause. The hotel's location is good for walking to Dongmun Market and Chilseong-ro. I found a 5-pack of banana milk for around 4980 won at a large supermarket near the hotel, while it was 1800 won per bottle at 7-Eleven.
Jeju Marriott Shinhwa World is a comprehensive, one-stop resort hotel, perfect for families and vacations, with extensive facilities. However, its location is relatively remote, with a drive of over an hour from the airport.
🏨 Overall Hotel Review:
1. **Rich Facilities, Family-Friendly**: The hotel boasts indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a water park (some areas are chargeable), and is adjacent to Shinhwa Theme Park. It also features a kids' club, bowling alley, and a wide array of entertainment options.
2. **Comfortable Stay**: The rooms are spacious with comfortable bedding. Some rooms include a bathtub and a separate shower. The overall cleanliness receives high praise.
3. **Diverse Dining Options**: The hotel offers several restaurants, including Sky on 5 Dining for international cuisine, Jeju Seon for Korean dishes, and a Chinese restaurant, catering to various tastes. However, dining prices are on the higher side.
4. **Service and Location**: The staff are friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is located in Andeok-myeon, a relatively remote area of Seogwipo City, quite a distance from Jeju city center and popular attractions. It's more suitable for those driving themselves or planning an in-depth stay within the resort area.
5. **Main Drawback**: The hotel's soundproofing isn't great. During my stay, I could constantly hear furniture being moved upstairs at night, which was very noisy.

We chose this hotel due to its location close to Seongsan Ilchulbong which turned out to be its only advantage. The outdoor swimming pool is useless since it’s right in front of a cafe and all the visitors observe the pool while having a meal, so there was no one swimming in the pool because it feels too awkward. There is no actual lobby where one can stay in case of arriving before check-in time, there’s only a small room with a reception desk which is usually no one at. So far I came to the lobby 4 times and there was no staff around. At 3 a.m. due to the rain, our room was powered off. We didn’t have any light or electricity even to charge our phones. In the morning I visited the lobby room several times, again there was no one to help. When I tried to contact the property, no one replied my calls. The service is terrible. To sum up, location and a hot tub are advantageous. Otherwise, I do not recommend this place.

This is my 2nd time staying here at Bolton hotel and I was able to book the same exact room. The bed is so soft and the shower is so hot. The view looks great. The area is near many thing within walking distance. Level floor has KFC next door. It was delicious. Free parking is great. Please liste. To the attendant for instructions as it's a auto storage parking type. The lobby is great hang out and you can leave luggage there for early arrivals and after checkout. I asked for a wine bottle opener and they had one right away. The pictures I took look exactly like their pictures. I will try to stay here again.

Nicely located in Southend central city of Jeju. Easy access to east and west site. Room is spaces and clean. Toiletries is good quality. The counter staff able to speak English and very helpful.
It was very good, the view from the room was amazing.
There's a fantastic BBQ place nearby, but there's not much else nearby, so you definitely need a car; there's parking there.
There weren't enough shampoos and shower gels, so you'll need to buy extra or bring your own.
The breakfast area was very nice, with everything you need to fuel up before exploring Jeju.
I loved this place and didn't want to leave.

Getting here from the city center involves taking bus 510 and then about a ten-minute walk. However, there's a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it very convenient for exploring attractions near Seogwipo. They offer luggage storage, even utilizing a disused restaurant space specifically for this. The sea view rooms are well-located; I'd recommend requesting a higher floor for the best views, as my room was on the fifth. The room itself was just average; it felt quite cramped with two suitcases opened, and the plush carpet looked a bit tired. The bathroom had a shower, which I actually liked as it's quite uncommon in Jeju. There's an infinity pool on the 7th floor, though it does incur an extra charge. While the front desk staff's English was passable, most communication was still in Korean. Overall, it felt like a domestic budget hotel with a sea view, which is understandable given the price point.
This was my first time bringing my family to Jeju, and we chose Lotte Hotel for the last two nights. The room was neat and clean, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The outdoor water park was definitely the highlight. The restaurant's food was fresh and varied, highly recommended! The hotel's night view was also lovely. There were plenty of dining options right outside the hotel at night, including fried chicken, seafood, and BBQ. Overall, very satisfied! 👍

NNaonaochiyayaThe hotel's location is excellent, right in the bustling downtown area with many great restaurants and shops downstairs. As many reviews mention, the service is pretty much non-existent. However, the front desk staff's ability to speak basic English makes this one of the more international places on Jeju Island, which is a plus. A special shout-out to the Eastern European lady on the housekeeping team – she was truly lovely and helped us with our daily amenity needs. The pool was closed in October, but I heard there's an extra charge for it anyway, so I didn't feel like I missed out.

Great
Ddaisy9191This hotel truly defies description. On the surface, the exterior is absolutely fine – modern, grand, and beautiful. The pool was also quite decent. BUT!!! For a hotel costing 2,000-3,000 RMB a night, I could almost overlook the absence of breakfast and a sea view. However, the bathroom was an absolute disaster. Honestly, it's worse than a 200 RMB budget hotel back home. There was a filthy glass door, grime in every nook and cranny, and even the white mugs in the minibar had tea stains! If it weren't for the endless positive reviews on Xiaohongshu (XHS), I genuinely would not have chosen this hotel. Compared to the Shilla Hotel next door, the hygiene is appalling!!! And the service is dreadful!!! If you're just looking for photo opportunities and a 'pretty picture' for your social media, then by all means, go. But if you're hoping to truly relax and enjoy a wonderful holiday, I absolutely do NOT recommend it!
GGuest UserI stayed at Jeju Ollero for a week and truly enjoyed every moment. The room was spotless, beautifully minimal in design, and the view from my window was simply stunning.
The owner was warm, kind, and always respectful of privacy — yet readily available whenever I needed help. The surrounding area felt peaceful and local, away from commercial crowds, with many hidden gems and delicious food spots to explore.
A special thank you to the owners for helping me carry my heavy luggage up and down, and for the legendary smoothie — it’s truly a must-try!
Highly recommend Jeju Ollero for anyone seeking comfort, kindness, and a touch of Jeju’s authentic charm. 🌿💛

Ccoms****Our group of five (two families) spent 7 days in Jeju, staying at two hotels, and this was the first one we checked into. The hotel's location isn't ideal; it's about a 20-minute walk to Hamdeok Beach. On the plus side, there's a BHC fried chicken restaurant and a CU convenience store right next door. We were quite satisfied with the hotel's cleanliness and facilities; it was spotless and well-maintained.
However, to be honest, we were quite dissatisfied with the front desk service. No matter what the issue was, their immediate reaction seemed to be to say no. It felt as if they might have perceived us as being overly demanding Chinese guests. For example, in my sister's family's room, the toilet wouldn't flush in the morning (note: their toilets here are electronic with automatic flushing). When we contacted the front desk, they informed us that maintenance staff wouldn't be on duty until 11 AM, so the issue couldn't be addressed until then. Since everyone needed to use the restroom that morning, we kept pressing for a solution. Eventually, the front desk staff consulted with a nearby cleaning lady. The cleaning lady then simply turned around, picked up a plunger (which was conveniently located right next to the front desk, implying this is a common issue), and fixed the toilet in a matter of seconds.

AAnonymous UserDo not get taken in by the photo. When we arrived, we were so shocked by how old the place looks compared to the picture. The lobby was empty, there's no one by the door at anytime, only the receptionist and they barely acknowledge you till you queue and reach them. They are not fluent in English or Chinese, barely able to communicate at all, till google translate. The room looks like the picture but doesn't look like the picture as well, everything is in the right place but it looks nothing like the pictures. Way less bright, way less glam, and everything is broken literally. Our tap is faulty, it's a struggle to use the basin everyday. The curtain fell and was lying on the floor. The hook for your towel is broken and dangling. The charging socket is broken and can't charge. The shower leaks water even if you're not using then rain shower. And they only allow request of additional 2 bottles of water. Mini bar is fully chargeable. There is no smart TV or any phone screen mimicking, so the TV is useless. You want to pull the curtains? Gotta climb up the tub and walk on it and pull. All in all, very disappointing and not worth my money. It is considered affordable but tbh you could do better. I would've booked another hotel instantly if this was refundable 5 mins inside the room. 3 out of 10 for me.
GGuest UserGrand Josun Jeju is great for family. A whole floor of family floor dedicated to young children, and an indoor outdoor pool which is great for rainy or shine.
Also complimentary sauna and optional massage parlour available.
Location is at the south of island, which makes the travel to the North, East or West a little longer. If you don't mind the drive, it is a great option to stay especially for young family, or if you want to be away and have some quiet time.
BBepis Boi UltraSimply lovely. We arrive at the hotel via car, and the check-in was smooth. Even though our room is mountain view, its actually quite nice, as the hotel seem to be surrounded by nearby farms. The location of the hotel is pretty isolated but its not an issue. Just a short walk from here and you can see the beautiful coastline of South Jeju. Our rooms were also provided with Nestle Dolce Gusto Machine, which my mum was excited about as we tried its Lemonade and Ice Peach Tea. The breakfast buffet was really good and had beautiful views of the seaside, together along with the pool.
