"Arrived on a rainy day, and staff immediately came out to enthusiastically open doors and help with luggage. They even escorted us to our room after check-in. They were still smiling when we left, even though we didn't tip, which was a pleasant surprise.
The view from the window was a parking lot, but the hotel's exterior looked quite grand and upscale. The room amenities were a bit basic; certainly not comparable to hotels of the same price in China, but acceptable for Jeju Island.
The bedding wasn't very comfortable, but I fell asleep instantly due to how tired I was from the day's activities.
The location is extremely convenient. Right downstairs are the Shilla Duty Free Shop, pharmacies, and various restaurants. It's also very easy to get a taxi to go anywhere. Overall, it's a decent place."

"Getting here from the city center involves taking bus 510 and then about a ten-minute walk. However, there's a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it very convenient for exploring attractions near Seogwipo. They offer luggage storage, even utilizing a disused restaurant space specifically for this. The sea view rooms are well-located; I'd recommend requesting a higher floor for the best views, as my room was on the fifth. The room itself was just average; it felt quite cramped with two suitcases opened, and the plush carpet looked a bit tired. The bathroom had a shower, which I actually liked as it's quite uncommon in Jeju. There's an infinity pool on the 7th floor, though it does incur an extra charge. While the front desk staff's English was passable, most communication was still in Korean. Overall, it felt like a domestic budget hotel with a sea view, which is understandable given the price point."
GgoodwengThis was my second trip to Jeju Island. The first time was over ten years ago on a group tour, and I don't even remember where we stayed. This time, I found this hotel on Ctrip. No breakfast, and it cost over 1200 [currency unit]. They called it a 'sea-view room,' but it was miles away from the beach. I felt the value for money was extremely low; I was definitely tricked by Ctrip! Also, I wasn't too happy that the hotel room only provided disposable paper cups – terrible for making tea! Everything else was just okay, nothing special. And you even had to pay to use the outdoor swimming pool...

GGuest UserThe hotel's overall environment is quite good, with a beautiful pool and most rooms facing the sea directly. The front desk staff were very friendly and even accommodated a half-hour late checkout. Other than that, I didn't really feel the 'luxury' in the 'luxury family room.' Check-in is at 3 PM, but at Grand Hyatt, you can check in as soon as a room is available. The room did have both a bathtub and a shower. However, the room cleaning wasn't very thorough, and the layout felt a bit cramped. I'm not sure if this was the best view available for the price, as the front desk mentioned rooms on the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors. After checking in, I realized there was a partition on the 5th floor that somewhat obstructed the sea view. Fried chicken room service takes 50 minutes, and prices in the lounge area are high, so it's best to inquire beforehand if that's a concern. The older lady at the GS25 convenience store downstairs was generally unfriendly and seemed unwelcoming to Chinese customers, which makes me wonder if she appreciates her job. There's a bakery next door with generous salad portions. Taxis are easy to catch right outside the hotel. Lotte Department Store is about a 20-minute walk, and the Castle Starbucks and OY are about a 30-minute walk. Overall, the experience was pretty average.
KKelley niceAbsolutely a five-star review! 💯 The owners are a couple who speak excellent English. The guesthouse is in a superb location, just about a 15-minute Uber ride from the airport. Before check-in, they send an email with all the necessary details, which is very thoughtful. This truly felt like a hidden gem in Jeju. The room was incredibly clean and silent. The towels had a fresh, clean scent, not that typical disinfectant smell. The whole environment was spotless, perfect for a weary business traveler to relax by the sea and enjoy a peaceful, sunny moment, and also great for a leisurely vacation since there isn't much to explore in downtown Jeju anyway. There's a McDonald's right downstairs, so if you're making a light meal in the guesthouse, it's also nice to have the option of McDonald's fast food. The entire street along the coast is lined with charming cafes and restaurants, all very chilling. The owners are super warm and kind. On my first day, the hostess personally showed me to my room and explained in detail how to use all the equipment in English, as everything was in Korean. She also reminded me to close the bathroom curtain, even though the window isn't visible from the outside. At check-out, the owner even gave me a bar of Italian soap! 🧼 So friendly! She also told me she's visited Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Macau in China. I'll definitely choose Jeju Ollero again on my next trip to Jeju! 👍🏻

사사곡사곡Had a quiet and relaxing stay. Although there were some water stains and hairs on the bathroom floor, it was good enough for a quiet and spacious rest. When I mentioned that the juice was spoiled at breakfast, the staff tasted it, then just walked away without a word and brought a new bottle of juice, telling me to pour it myself... No apology whatsoever. ^^;;
GGuest UserOur group of five (two families) spent 7 days in Jeju, staying at two hotels, and this was the first one we checked into. The hotel's location isn't ideal; it's about a 20-minute walk to Hamdeok Beach. On the plus side, there's a BHC fried chicken restaurant and a CU convenience store right next door. We were quite satisfied with the hotel's cleanliness and facilities; it was spotless and well-maintained.
However, to be honest, we were quite dissatisfied with the front desk service. No matter what the issue was, their immediate reaction seemed to be to say no. It felt as if they might have perceived us as being overly demanding Chinese guests. For example, in my sister's family's room, the toilet wouldn't flush in the morning (note: their toilets here are electronic with automatic flushing). When we contacted the front desk, they informed us that maintenance staff wouldn't be on duty until 11 AM, so the issue couldn't be addressed until then. Since everyone needed to use the restroom that morning, we kept pressing for a solution. Eventually, the front desk staff consulted with a nearby cleaning lady. The cleaning lady then simply turned around, picked up a plunger (which was conveniently located right next to the front desk, implying this is a common issue), and fixed the toilet in a matter of seconds.
PPingtanghuluThe hotel itself was impeccable, but there were too many kids, making it incredibly noisy. The soundproofing wasn't great either, and children were constantly running wild in the hallways, creating chaos. I'd advise anyone without kids or who is sensitive to noise to avoid this place. At breakfast, I kept hearing Chinese children shouting very loudly, like ”Grandpa, Grandpa, Grandpa!” and ”Mommy, Daddy, Mommy, Daddy!” – you know the kind of thing. It really drew a lot of attention.
GGuest UserThe room was quite spacious, and it even had a balcony with great views of both sunrise and sunset! The hotel is right by the coastline, which is perfect for a stroll in the morning or evening, especially in the evening when the square gets lively! Dining is convenient too, with plenty of delicious options just across the street. It's also a quick walk to Dongdaemun Market, Chilseong-ro, and Black Pork Street. I really love this hotel and will definitely be back!

SSuzie W -文珍Hotel is quite nice! Restaurants downstairs are pretty good!
Almost a perfect stay till the last night (25 Apr) we went into the Jaju store at the basement, one of the lady shop assistant was the only rude person i have met in my whole jeju trip, she's showing a poker face, maybe because its almost closing time, we started to take clothes to fitting room, totally no clue even we tried our best to speak to her, she seems not able to understand English at all. Even when we were at cashier, she was still keeping her poker face poker, quite upset for this part 🥲
Other than that, hotel service and room equipment are pretty good, love it 👍🎉🎉🎉
