The hotel room was alright, facing the sea. We didn't experience the discrimination against Chinese guests that some other reviews mentioned, but maybe we just got lucky. However, the front desk staff was indeed terrible. On the first day, the short girl who checked us in spoke broken Korean-accented English that I genuinely couldn't understand. She then audibly sighed with impatience, which was quite off-putting. Her tone remained bad for the rest of our conversation, and honestly, she was quite rude. Then, a guy with a spiky haircut was also unhelpful. When we ran out of water in our room, I went to the front desk to ask for two bottles and even used a translator to politely convey my request in Korean. The 'bro' just scoffed at me – what was that all about? I didn't do anything to upset them, and I was always polite. Anyone watching would think *I* was the service staff and *they* were the guests. Seriously, this place seems to have a barrier for Chinese speakers unless your English or Korean is excellent; otherwise, it's bound to ruin your mood.

The room was quite clean and even had a smart toilet. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get around. The GS25 supermarket diagonally opposite has a good selection of items, while the Lawson downstairs is a bit small. A taxi from the airport to the hotel cost about 5400 Korean Won. Two adults and two children specifically came to Jeju Island to stock up on the latest Mung Cos.

This hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from supermarkets, shopping areas, the famous Black Pork Street, and many seafood restaurants. The rooms are spacious, and the water pressure is great, but there are no toothbrushes, toothpaste, or disposable slippers provided. The front desk staff's English proficiency is average; for more in-depth questions, we had to use a translation app to communicate effectively. However, everything else was fantastic!

During the October National Holiday, which coincided with a Korean holiday, the hotel was fully booked. We were assigned a room on the outermost side, meaning everyone walked past our door. The soundproofing was practically nonexistent, and I barely slept a wink the whole night. We only managed to switch rooms on the second day. The hotel's breakfast buffet required waiting, as their capacity to handle guests was poor; we waited for about 30 minutes. The service was lacking, making for a less than ideal experience. If you're traveling with children for the theme park, I'd recommend choosing Shinhwa Resort because it includes free tickets to both parks. Also, the food throughout the entire resort area is quite mediocre. I'd advise against visiting Hanrawon; the service, taste, and value for money were all disappointing.

We chose this hotel due to its location close to Seongsan Ilchulbong which turned out to be its only advantage. The outdoor swimming pool is useless since it’s right in front of a cafe and all the visitors observe the pool while having a meal, so there was no one swimming in the pool because it feels too awkward. There is no actual lobby where one can stay in case of arriving before check-in time, there’s only a small room with a reception desk which is usually no one at. So far I came to the lobby 4 times and there was no staff around. At 3 a.m. due to the rain, our room was powered off. We didn’t have any light or electricity even to charge our phones. In the morning I visited the lobby room several times, again there was no one to help. When I tried to contact the property, no one replied my calls. The service is terrible. To sum up, location and a hot tub are advantageous. Otherwise, I do not recommend this place.

Bolton Hotel Jeju has an excellent location, right across from Shilla Duty Free and just a 3-5 minute walk to Baojian Road Pedestrian Street. A Didi (ride-sharing app) from the airport cost about 42 yuan and took less than ten minutes. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops nearby! If you turn right out of the hotel entrance and walk for about a minute, you'll find a great pig's trotters restaurant (Geumsang). Regarding the hotel facilities, the hotel is relatively new, has no strange odors, though the soundproofing could be a bit better. They provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and towels. However, toothbrushes, toothpaste, facial cleanser, and razors are not provided. Disposable slippers are available, but there are no slippers in the shower room. The air conditioning was a bit noisy. There's only one USB port, located on one side of the bed; it would be better if both sides had one! Other outlets require an adapter (the front desk might provide them, but I didn't ask since I used the USB port). The front desk has Chinese-speaking staff who are very friendly! Breakfast is quite good, with a decent variety of both Korean and Western options!

The hotel is perfectly situated between Olle Trails 6 and 7, both of which are must-do hikes on Jeju Island. Olle Market is also super close, less than a 10-minute walk away. The bed was really comfortable, and I'd definitely stay here again.

Ramen, bananas, and mandarins in the pantry for you to enjoy – what more could you ask for? YES! Crazy view from the room, a cozy bathtub, and beautiful sunrises. This hotel has been nothing short of amazing. I really enjoyed my stay here!

Getting here from the city center involves taking bus 510 and then about a ten-minute walk. However, there's a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it very convenient for exploring attractions near Seogwipo. They offer luggage storage, even utilizing a disused restaurant space specifically for this. The sea view rooms are well-located; I'd recommend requesting a higher floor for the best views, as my room was on the fifth. The room itself was just average; it felt quite cramped with two suitcases opened, and the plush carpet looked a bit tired. The bathroom had a shower, which I actually liked as it's quite uncommon in Jeju. There's an infinity pool on the 7th floor, though it does incur an extra charge. While the front desk staff's English was passable, most communication was still in Korean. Overall, it felt like a domestic budget hotel with a sea view, which is understandable given the price point.

This was my first time bringing my family to Jeju, and we chose Lotte Hotel for the last two nights. The room was neat and clean, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The outdoor water park was definitely the highlight. The restaurant's food was fresh and varied, highly recommended! The hotel's night view was also lovely. There were plenty of dining options right outside the hotel at night, including fried chicken, seafood, and BBQ. Overall, very satisfied! 👍

MM492606****The location is fantastic! Right outside, you'll find Shilla Duty Free, along with all sorts of must-try restaurants, cafes, and local trendy brands. The hotel's ground floor restaurant is also great; if you get tired of Korean food, their buffet offers a good variety and is a nice change of pace. It's always busy with people queuing every day. This hotel is perfect for both business travelers and families.

MM37904****The hotel's decor and views are both excellent. When I checked in, the front desk staff spoke Chinese, but the woman working the night shift didn't. The hotel feels quite new, and the lobby area reminds me a lot of the Guangzhou Four Seasons. The views are truly unparalleled. However, the location is a bit out of the way, and the room size is a little small. I was starving at night because there's no 24-hour room service, and there were no snacks in the room either. I really suggest they improve this aspect.

GGuest UserI stayed at Jeju Ollero for a week and truly enjoyed every moment. The room was spotless, beautifully minimal in design, and the view from my window was simply stunning. The owner was warm, kind, and always respectful of privacy — yet readily available whenever I needed help. The surrounding area felt peaceful and local, away from commercial crowds, with many hidden gems and delicious food spots to explore. A special thank you to the owners for helping me carry my heavy luggage up and down, and for the legendary smoothie — it’s truly a must-try! Highly recommend Jeju Ollero for anyone seeking comfort, kindness, and a touch of Jeju’s authentic charm. 🌿💛

GGuest UserOur group of five (two families) spent 7 days in Jeju, staying at two hotels, and this was the first one we checked into. The hotel's location isn't ideal; it's about a 20-minute walk to Hamdeok Beach. On the plus side, there's a BHC fried chicken restaurant and a CU convenience store right next door. We were quite satisfied with the hotel's cleanliness and facilities; it was spotless and well-maintained. However, to be honest, we were quite dissatisfied with the front desk service. No matter what the issue was, their immediate reaction seemed to be to say no. It felt as if they might have perceived us as being overly demanding Chinese guests. For example, in my sister's family's room, the toilet wouldn't flush in the morning (note: their toilets here are electronic with automatic flushing). When we contacted the front desk, they informed us that maintenance staff wouldn't be on duty until 11 AM, so the issue couldn't be addressed until then. Since everyone needed to use the restroom that morning, we kept pressing for a solution. Eventually, the front desk staff consulted with a nearby cleaning lady. The cleaning lady then simply turned around, picked up a plunger (which was conveniently located right next to the front desk, implying this is a common issue), and fixed the toilet in a matter of seconds.

AAnonymous UserDo not get taken in by the photo. When we arrived, we were so shocked by how old the place looks compared to the picture. The lobby was empty, there's no one by the door at anytime, only the receptionist and they barely acknowledge you till you queue and reach them. They are not fluent in English or Chinese, barely able to communicate at all, till google translate. The room looks like the picture but doesn't look like the picture as well, everything is in the right place but it looks nothing like the pictures. Way less bright, way less glam, and everything is broken literally. Our tap is faulty, it's a struggle to use the basin everyday. The curtain fell and was lying on the floor. The hook for your towel is broken and dangling. The charging socket is broken and can't charge. The shower leaks water even if you're not using then rain shower. And they only allow request of additional 2 bottles of water. Mini bar is fully chargeable. There is no smart TV or any phone screen mimicking, so the TV is useless. You want to pull the curtains? Gotta climb up the tub and walk on it and pull. All in all, very disappointing and not worth my money. It is considered affordable but tbh you could do better. I would've booked another hotel instantly if this was refundable 5 mins inside the room. 3 out of 10 for me.

GGuest UserWe loved the HILLSIDE SUITES. Amazing property. We stayed in the Hill Suites and the ocean view room was stunning. Huge room, immaculate and very comfortable. The property is meticulously designed, although the main building is a little dated in its structure which is revamped from an old hotel it doesn't spare on grandiose. I think the main lobby needs a nice welcoming flower structure that would top it off full points for me.

KKarina_kkDisadvantages: It takes around 10-20 mins walk uphill to a bus station, which is a bit tiring on hot days. There are some restaurants and cafes nearby, but many of them are closed, so the choice is very limited. Advantages: Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel a lot. We stayed in the main building, and were lucky to be on the first floor with a direct entrance to the pool. There is one indoors pool and two outdoors as well as a hot tub. The breakfast choice is not very wide, but it perfectly matched our taste and we loved it. The staff is nice and helpful. We would like to return to this hotel next time.
