First impression is that it's OK, however not a 4 star hotel at all, more like a 3 star. Reception service is good and friendly, but when you go to the restaurant they barely look at you when you want to order. It's like they're trying to hide from their customers. There is almost never anybody if you want to order a drink or a coffee.. terrible F&B management.

Icing on the cake, I had forgot my shaving kit, but after visiting the reception they gave me a free shaving kit. I will definitely choose this hotel next time Im going back to Milano. It was honestly my best hotel experience!

Hotel is considerably big. Clean and comfortable room. Location was about 5 mins to the Milan station. Check-in was fast but was given a double room instead of twin as per our request. Requested for a room change but needed to wait about 10 mins and was given a lower floor room instead. An all-in-one hair and body wash was attached to the bathroom and basin which was a little difficult to press to use. Preferred hair and shower to be separated and conditioner to be provided. Overall a good stay.

The staff was so friendly and helpful and clearly had our safety in mind. The room was right below the lively rooftop bar with a great view of the city. The room itself was small but perfect for me, my husband, and young adult son. The rooftop bar was fun and felt so glamorous, too! Their menu was on also topnotch, a great place to enjoy aperitivo and enjoy the nightfall sky. You could hear the slight thump of music from our rooms, but that didn’t bother us at all. The gentleman at the front desk was also so kind and helpful with all our questions from money exchange to metro stops to restaurant recommendations and even fashion advice!

Perfect location very clean stayed 2 nights 3 adults as a family in our room given clean towels each day and beds were made for us staff so welcoming and knowledgeable.We accidentally left our house keys in the safe the reception at hotel quickly let us know and helped arrange for them to be delivered to us at the airport just amazing service can’t thank them enough would highly recommend

Clean hotel. Super pleased with the chambermaid who was servicing our floor. We did not need any room service but need toilet rolls replenishment. So we asked her for some toilet paper and change of towels. She went over the extra mile to come into the room to take our old towels and also clear all the trash bins!! We were asking if she can help to get us a kettle and she really brought it up and placed it outside of our room door cos we had the privacy tag on. Good service!!!

This is a beautiful hotel and we had a great time. The hotel was nice a clean, had a nice garden, the restaurant was nice and the bar was open until late. We stayed on the 2nd floor and our room was nice and spacious, aircon was great, the mini bar was well stocked and the maid came everyday. Our view out the window was nice too, we could see the cobbled streets and the tram passing by, it kind of looked like a postcard. The restaurant was nice, staff was friendly and if you like traditional Italian food then you would enjoy it. The breakfast was also nice we went down every morning, it was the same thing everyday but that was ok because it was good food. Only thing is tho, there were no omelettes as standard, I think they could have made you one but you had to pay extra (€8) Let’s talk about the bar. The bar was amazing, not only was it open til late but the bar staff were very knowledgeable on anything drink related. There wasn’t a drink that the lovely Henry or Paulo couldn’t make you. Whilst I am on the Henry and Paulo subject, I’d like to take this opportunity to just say how amazing they are. They introduced themselves and asked our names and it was lovely service ever since. They made us feel welcome, kept the amazing drinks flowing, learnt early on what kind of drinks we liked and kept the drinks coming. The service from them two was absolutely outstanding and we would visit again just to see them. They are real assets to the hotel. Thank you. The hotel itself is not far away from the duomo. We just took the subway, it was 3 stops. Once you get to the duomo you can also do the bus tours, we did the 4 tours over 48 hours which was nice. We also did the canal cruise which wasn’t far from the hotel too. Immediately outside the hotel you can also hire bikes and scooters. You just have to download the app if you haven’t already and go. All in all the hotel was great, service was great, location was great and we love Henry.

We stayed for a long weekend . The hotel is very nice , the rooms were large with high ceilings and nicely decrated as was the rest of the hotel . Breakfast was very nice great selection and very nice staff . The reception were very nice and very helpful , answering any questions we had . But one member of staff called Markita in reception when above and beyond the call of duty , she was fantastic . We will certainly reccomend this hotel to all our friends .

I would like to say I never go out of my way to write a bad review, as I understand nowhere is perfect and often it’s just one or two minor things which aren’t good. But sadly I had to review this experience. Upon check-in the grumpy person behind the desk took photocopies of our passports. We were given a key with a chunky, dirty keyring and weren’t told how we could get to our room or given any sort of information as to what to expect on our stay here. We were given no leaflets or anything in our room about nearby attractions. When we entered our room we instantly noticed how dirty the room was. Overall the interior of both the hotel and the rooms are pleasant and seemingly lovely traditional Italian. Sadly it seems that the owner has given up with ensuring it is kept nice and clean as everything looks shabby and wilted. We aren’t even being picky, the standard things which you would expect to be clean were very dirty. The room looked like it hadn’t been hoovered, the surfaces looked unwiped, the shower head was filthy with limescale so had to request it to be cleaned as genuinely felt it was unsafe to shower under. The mattress was like sleeping on the floor and pillows were flat. We had to request more pillows several times. We were just given 1 sheet (which was thankfully the only thing in the room clean) to sleep with and no headboard. The drain in the shower smelt really bad when water from the shower drained into it - it smelt like the sewer. The only 2 working plug sockets in the whole of the room and bathroom were if you unplugged the TV and on the floor near the bathroom door with nowhere to rest anything on (e.g. a phone to charge). We found a mini fridge in our room under the desk but sadly no option of a mini bar where we could purchase waters or snacks. This could be a great opportunity for the hotel to make the guest experience better and also make money and yet something else which they don’t care about. The chair at the desk had also seen better days and looks like it’s been thrown around. Also, when the maid cleaned our room, they shoved our pyjamas almost in a ball nearly on top of the dirty phone in the room. We were disgusted. Sadly there is no restaurant on site or any options for food or drink which is extremely unusual. We found that the staff were overall quite rude but when we showed them our flat pillows and the shower head they seemed to understand where we were coming from and a little embarrassed. Nearby there seems to be a few transport links but we were given no information how to get into Milano Centrale or to attractions such as Duomo. Because of this and how confusing we found the transport system, we sadly spent an unnecessary amount on Uber’s because none of the staff would really help us. Unfortunately with it being August, all shops/restaurants/cafes/businesses within several miles are closed. They need the hotel inspector to visit.

Hotel is inside the airport, easy access from Milano Central Station with bus it train, it is very easy to go to terminal 1, The room is beautiful and huge, the bed is big and comfortable.

The bedroom is almost the same as the other, but there is a small room other than the shower room, there is a small kitchen and a round table, and it was very important because small things can be placed. There is also a elevator on the left and right ２ machines in a large hotel with a semicircular diameter. But there was no room number of my own because the hotel room number was not lined up in order, and when I asked the front desk, it was in the back. It's the first time that the room number is so difficult to understand. I recommend looking for it slowly

A nice modern hotel, clean and large rooms with good aircon. For the price it was 100% worth it. The staff spoke good English and was happy to advise us on driving regulations around Milan and what areas to avoid, which was super helpful for us.

The Hotel Berna has a convenient location close to the central train station. There is no shopping or places of interest close to the hotel. The beds are very comfortable and the staff is very helpful. The bathroom is big and has nice products. There are many selections at breakfast and we enjoyed the afternoon happy hour at the bar. In our experience, getting a cab back to the hotel was impossible so we relied on the subway system. It took a day to figure out the subway system but we were able to get to the Duomo and other tourist/shopping areas via the subway. The yellow line from the Duomo back to the central train station is very crowded. On one ride, someone tried unsuccessfully to pick my pocket so be careful. We felt more comfortable taking the green line back to the central train station. There are a couple of restaurants close to the Hotel Berna but we did not visit any of them. If you don’t mind relying on the subway, the Hotel Berna is a great option when staying in Milan.

Would have liked to get a coffee while waiting for room but all machines had been turned off some electric works which is just unfortunate timing I suppose. Otherwise all very good😊

The hotel is modern, clean, and conveniently located near Terminal 2. Just 100 meters in front of the hotel, a shuttle runs every 15 minutes to Terminal 1. The hotel features a 24/7 bar, and for guests without a breakfast package, coffee and muffins are available for purchase in the morning.

It's a good airport hotel. However, there are several elevator buttons that are not working. It seems that the maintenance of the facility is not perfect. There are the same buttons on both sides, so I could using it.

A civilized haven after an awful experience. A stylish, welcoming and luxurious hotel despite check in receptionist being rather abrupt and aloof. Room very comfortable but air con too hot for us UK people..it is as hot at night as we get in summer during the day ! I was eventually assisted to get to the Arctic temperature of 16.5 ! Meal in restaurant was very good, service especially ! Lady serving in the bar was amazing...a real asset to the company ! A professional, someone who can speak to everyone, have fun and keep everyone happy..a real gem ! I will definitely stay here again, it was a real pleasure.

Awesome, comfortable stay. Hotel front of house team, super efficient. Was made to feel welcome. Needed a place to rest overnight following my 24 hour flying visit to attend the screening of a movie premiere. Check in process was vey easy and straightforward. They have a hotel bar too and ordering drinks was easy. Not too pricey too. Room was very comfortable, bed was a good size too. Well equipped room, spotlessly clean and well laid out. Andre this morning on the check in counter was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Grabbed a free coffee and delicious pastries which I actually didn’t expect to be complimentary too. Andre was also very friendly and amiable too. He really took an interest in what I told him about my experience in Milan. (The guy on the desk last night was also helpful and friendly but didn’t ask for his name). Milan which was truly wonderful. Had a good rest ready for my flight back to London.

This is your quintessential airport hotel. Practical, functional, clean, good location and friendly enough staff. I wasn’t staying here for the airport but more it’s not next to the airport and there is a shuttle but requires booking in advance so plan accordingly, The rooms are small. Functional, but small. The bathrooms are basic but do the job and the showers nice and big with good pressure. The rooms seem new but there’s little soundproofing inside and I could hear my neighbour all night long. Towels and pillows were awful. The room was immaculately clean and there were plug sockets next to the bed and a decent tv. The bed wasn’t particularly comfy, quite hard. The restaurant is a little chaotic. It only opens for breakfast and then dinner at 6:30pm. The menu is basic to be honest and everyone was friendly enough but it’s terribly understaffed for what was a sold out evening with bit groups dining in the restaurant. The food was ok but the wine was terrible, which for Italy was a shocker. Check out was easy but there was a delay at checkout, only 1 member of staff so in the end I had to dump my key and leave. 5 stars not because of the venue, but because of the staff. What a fantastic stay. We were made to feel so welcome even though we speak so little Italian. The place is reasonable, spotless, and very picturesque. Viviana on reception always had a lovey smile an was willing to help. Marcello lovely helpful man. My personal favorite was the delightful Alessia at the bar. That girl made our stay! Well done, whoever hires here deserves a pay rise!! Looking forward to staying again. PS the dinner in the evening could have been a bit nicer. Grazie!
