Hotels With Parking in Canterbury, New Zealand

Very good location as it is just walking distance to the food hub and airport is about 10 minutes walk away. Nice lounge and kitchen area. Pods were clean, however the individual fan inside the pod was quite noisy and hot so it affected my sleep quality. Also would be good to have shampoo and body wash dispenser set up in every shower room.

We had a wonderful stay at Kaikoura Quality Suites. The Executive Studio had all the necessary amenities (heater, warm shower, kitchenette) for a good night's rest, along with parking right next door. The motel was conveniently located next to a petrol station and supermarket (New World), and just a short drive to the town centre. We were greeted by a friendly and helpful staff at check-in who also gave us a free glass of milk!

The hotel is located next to the Hagley Park. The room is spacious and well equipped and maintained. There is a bus stop on the corner, including line 3 heading to the airport every 30 minutes. The only backup is that the hotel room is facing a busy intersection and can be a bit noisy during the day.

The accommodation is located right in the city center, so the location is perfect, and the room was also very clean. The only downside was that after parking my car in the parking lot and driving away the next day, I unexpectedly received a parking ticket. However, after disputing it, the ticket was eventually canceled. Still, it did take up a lot of time to deal with, which was frustrating. Everything else was great though.

Probably the best place for families especially if you are travelling with kids. Beds are big enough for 2a2c easily. Parking is free and very convenient. (If full, I see folks just park by the road). Location very close to all activities you need (Kaikoura is small town). Breakfast isn’t buffet style but it’s definitely going to beat your expectation. Definitely recommend this place

1. Prime location, with Great Lake view in front, 200m walk from local supermarket; 2. The facilities are good but also very horrible, really big kitchen and common room for guests to cook and eat, outdoor seats with BBQ setting, all kinds of cooking stuff, etc. but shower on the 1st floor is block and the entire toilet is flooded!!!! The basin is blocked also!!!! Flushing of Toilet sometimes doesn’t work, there is hairdryer; 3. I quite like the room, clean and quiet, there is a small light, usb port, and small cabin and curtain on the bed, 2 lockers for each guest, bed is very comfortable;

Suitable for taking children. Our room sleeps 5 people, 3 single beds and 1 double bed. There is a kitchen in the room, the pots and pans are all complete, and there is a refrigerator for your own simple dishes. The hotel is very close to the city centre. Remember to bring toiletries, shower gel, shampoo.

It's strange that the actual hotel name is completely different from what's listed on Trip.com! It's across from the botanical garden, a garden-style hotel with a top-notch environment. The roses blooming there are even more beautiful than those in the botanical garden. The room is comfortable, and the bed is incredibly cozy. Breakfast is quite rich. However, the bathroom facilities are a bit outdated. The bathtub has no non-slip mat or handrails, making it easy to slip and quite dangerous. The shower stall is so narrow that even as an Asian person, I found it cramped; I can't imagine how a European or American person would manage to turn around in it.

Average hotel, I would recommend staying here only because it is close to the airport. Not a fan of the service received but it is not terrible. If you are driving, the hotel has parking space or you may park at an open lot just 1min away from the hotel. (paid parking) Breakfast option was also not great. 28nzd for continental breakfast and 38nzd for full breakfast - dishes for full breakfast were limited and poor. Not worth the money.

We enjoyed our four nights at this motel. It is well maintained, friendly and runs very smoothly. We found our unit had everything we required to meet our needs. Much thought has gone into the successful running of this business. Providing fresh towels for the hot pools and bike storage were some of the standout features for us. We would certainly stay there again
