Hotels With Parking in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan

This hotel far exceeded our expectations! It was unanimously praised by my travel companions during this trip. It just goes to show that you get what you pay for. It's only about 100-200 meters from Gora Station for the Hakone Tozan Railway, and there's a bus stop right outside the hotel that goes to Gotemba Premium Outlets. This made transferring transportation so easy, without having to drag our luggage too far, and it was punctual and convenient. Everyone, when you get to Hakone-Yumoto Station, remember to absolutely send your luggage ahead at the station. It's only 1000 yen per person for large luggage. We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, and our bags were already in our room. This service is incredibly thoughtful and human-centric. The nearby gyoza restaurant was quite good. If you haven't booked dinner, you can give it a try. I highly recommend the kimchi gyoza soup. Breakfast was a standard buffet, with both Japanese and Western options, and a good variety to choose from. The private onsen required a wait, so we only experienced the public bath. Perhaps because it was a weekday evening, there was no one else there, so it practically felt like we had the place to ourselves.

We got an upgraded room, a 30-square-meter one, with the option to shower in the room or at the hot springs. The public hot spring baths are divided into indoor and outdoor sections. The buffet was just okay. Check-in starts at 3 PM, so if you arrive early, you just get a number and wait. Many Japanese families with children were there, so it seems to be a family-friendly hotel. There's a shuttle bus, which should be convenient. We drove, and the parking lot is quite spacious.

The general environment was very poor. Being right by the road, it was extremely noisy at night. The room also had a noticeable musty smell. The electric kettle had limescale inside. To top it all off, we were shocked to discover a large cockroach in the room when we returned on our second night. Definitely NOT recommended!!

The hotel is a bit old, but I was really drawn to it because of the balcony. The location is great, directly connected to Queen's Square, so dining and entertainment are very convenient. The Ferris wheel is right opposite the hotel, and the instant noodle museum is within walking distance.

First off, the room was incredibly clean! Housekeeping did a thorough job every day. The front desk staff were warm and patient, and the facilities were very new and well-maintained. Secondly, the hotel's location is excellent! It's just a few minutes' walk from Yamashita Park and Chinatown, and the Hikawa Maru is also nearby. Yokohama Station and the Red Brick Warehouse are also very close. Shopping nearby is super convenient! There's a 7-Eleven and a Lawson right downstairs. If you walk towards Chinatown a bit, there's a supermarket. It's also close to Yokohama Station's commercial center, making shopping very easy.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The surroundings are excellent, making it convenient to go anywhere. The hotel has direct access to a shopping mall with a supermarket, and the subway station is just a 2-minute walk away. The second floor connects to an elevated walkway. The area has a very modern city vibe, which I really liked. You can even see Mount Fuji in the distance.

We stayed in the traditional private room which was large and comfortable. The onsen was lovely and very clean. The kitchen is open for guests to use and well equipped. The hotel is located in quite a secluded area with limited amenities/dining options. There’s a 7-11 and Lawson if you really can’t find a restaurant that’s opened. There’s also a lot of stairs which might be challenging if you have heavy luggages.

View: The room offers a fantastic view, the lake-view room on the 19th floor provides a spacious and comfortable panorama. Parking: Free! Just navigate to the hotel and drive into the large parking lot you'll see (we circled three times, but the signs are actually very clear). After getting your parking ticket, check in and register it at the front desk. You can then enter and exit as many times as you like, free of charge, which is very convenient. Completely free. Facilities: Surprisingly dated. Booking this for over 2000 yen during New Year's, it felt like a Japanese budget hotel. Seriously needs an upgrade; it might deter families. Choosing a Japanese-style room would be much better. Food: Breakfast was great. For other meals, we had to make reservations due to New Year's, so we ended up eating instant noodles (there are many convenience stores nearby). Activities: During New Year's, there were traditional cultural activities in the lobby, which was a nice experience.

The private bath was really nice and relaxing. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Location is convenient, its in the middle of the region and is located near a bus stop and cable car. We had no problem getting to and from hotel using public transport.

Hakone Kowakien Ten-yu Hotel was an amazing experience! The hotel boasts multiple natural hot springs with a rich variety of baths and breathtaking scenery; soaking in them left me feeling completely refreshed. The rooms are spacious and elegant, with stylish Japanese decor that ensures privacy. The dinner buffet was exquisite, featuring fresh and delicious ingredients. The staff were warm and attentive, always greeting guests with a smile. Its convenient location also offers easy access to transportation. Both the facilities and service truly reflect the high quality of Japanese onsen hotels. Highly recommended!
