A Hotel that is recovering from the bad snowy weather. Rooms are big but toilet is tiny. The toilet bidet is bigger than the actual toilet bowl. Also the taps in toilet need upgrading to mixer. Buffet Dinner is good. Sashimi is basic salmon mainly. Buffet should not be a fixed menu everyday! For visitors staying longer, this is uninteresting. When I visited from 7-10 April, the outdoor Onsen was MOST UNFORTUNATELY not working!
The location is good, right next to the station. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel parking lot needs to be paid, and the parking lot next to the hotel was full, so they suggested us to park in the parking lot next to the station. But we thought it was far away and it would be troublesome to carry the luggage. So we parked in a nearby public parking lot and found it cheaper than the hotel parking lot.
This hotel is brand new and offers excellent amenities. You'll find a self-service ice machine and microwave, complimentary self-serve toiletries, and even a hot spring bath (onsen). There's a 7-Eleven conveniently located downstairs, and it's just an easy walk to the JR station. Highly recommended!
The hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is rich in variety and delicious, giving everyone a good start to every day. The location is also very convenient, with many attractions and transportation options nearby. Highly recommended to friends who travel here
The hotel facility is relatively good. However, the hotel policy seems to have a big problem.
We checked in the hotel at 7pm, they said our room rate was for check-in between 23:30~05:00 and that check-in other than this period will have a surcharge of
Yen $2000. At normal hotel booking, who would alert the check-in time is at midnight??!! OK, we assume we overlook this strange rule, we paid.
However, two days later we stay at the same brand hotel in Aomori, I clearly requested a non-smoking room at booking (as I did same for all hotels at the trip),
but the receptionist insisted that we didn't. They said they don't have a non-smoking room for us unless we pay Yen $2000 for additional charge. We don't
understand the game! Supposing all non-smoking rooms are at the non-smoking floor; if they have one, they should have given us free. If not, how can they
make one with the additional charge ?
The location was excellent, right in front of Yokote Station. The parking lot was free, which was nice. There were hot spring facilities on the first and seventh floors, which was nice. The restaurant on the second floor was also cheap and nice.
The service is very good. From Towada Lake Yuya, the hotel's shuttle bus will pick you up on time at 4pm, and the shuttle bus will take you to Yuya, Konokuchi or Hachinohe at 8:30am.
The room is not big, and the bathroom facilities are old-fashioned. But they are also easy to use.
The open-air bath is of good quality, suitable for three baths a day.
The restaurant is of high standard, facing the Towada Lake, with excellent views.
The overall experience is very satisfactory, the environment is good, and it faces the lake. It is very suitable for a vacation and relaxation, and it is extremely quiet.
Take the JR BUS from Yuya to Ishido, and start hiking up the Oirase Gorge to Konokuchi from here, and experience the best stream in Japan!
I asked for a smoking room for my grandpa who smokes. The air is amazing when the elevator opens! The corridor is amazing. Grandpa was very satisfied with smoking in the room. Lol The front desk is always polite and is my favorite hotel.
Dormy Inn Akita boasts an excellent location, being very close to Akita Station. The distinctive sculpture at the hotel's main entrance caught my eye, though its meaning wasn't clear to me. The hotel is conveniently situated next to the Akita Museum of Art and directly opposite Akita Park, contributing to a wonderfully pleasant atmosphere.

Great
AAnonymous UserStaff service is excellent.
Management pays attention to many detailed needs of guests.
Great food variety, and many local foods are presented. Foods are delicious too.
Onsen is excellent too.
GGuest UserSmall but nice room! Although I didn’t catch the night ramen (the deadline was 9:30pm), I was very happy to enjoy the hot spring! ! Men and women are separated, the facilities are clean, and you can stay there until 24:00! ! The silent bath was very quiet. Everyone was polite and didn't disturb each other. I enjoyed it very much! ! ! After checking in, each person can get a free bottle of drink~~
GGuest UserSimple accommodation, not cost-effective, the proprietress is not bad.
But it may be that I have a dog that is not very friendly, and the dog smells a little unbearable when I enter the door. I have no hot spring coupons anymore, but the store has built a simple shower room by itself, and I still have to go outside the house. It is very dark and inconvenient, and there is no place to put clothes.

GGuest UserA small and exquisite Japanese-style hotel with a hot spring on the first floor. It is very convenient to walk everywhere. It is a good place for business travel and private travel. I have stayed here twice and I like it very much👍

GGuest UserThis place is extraordinarily overpriced for what it is. I expected much more amenities and service.
Although the staff were friendly and courteous, the place was fairly bland. The onsen was mediocre and there were no refreshments afterwards unless you wanted to go to a vending machine. Even Dormy Inn provides refreshments after the onsen but at Towado Hotel having to pay for them and not even the nice ones is ridiculous when you have to pay so much to stay here. The same for the relaxation chair. It is coin-operated not complementary.
I would not recommend staying here if you’re looking for a luxury experience because although you pay for that, it’s definitely nowhere near that. Our Western style room was very basic, and it just didn’t have those special finishing touches I had hoped for.
GGuest UserI used it for the examination, compared to the latest hotel, cleanliness
The facilities are inferior but nostalgic inn
and the land pattern or the landscape
The uncle at the reception was kind and relieved on the first land.

AAnonymous UserKakunodate is very beautiful in autumn, and I decided to check in here on a whim. Someone on Xiaohongshu recommended this hotel. The room is not big, but it is enough. The biggest selling point of this Japanese-style hotel is actually the food and beverage, which is very beautiful and exquisite. My companions said it can match the level of Michelin one star. The hotel itself does not have a hot spring, but it provides free tickets to another free hot spring nearby, which makes up for the regret of not being able to soak in the hot spring. The boss is an elderly uncle, friendly and cute, who can speak simple English and has no communication barriers.
