First of all, I would like to thank the staff for their efforts and assistance during my stay. Room size is good. The bed was comfortable and clean. However, I think the hotel needs to take attention towards the bathroom, it was smelly and not well clean. Also, I advise to remove the curtain because it looks dirty and replace the shower head because it was broken and was splash everywhere make the bathroom floor all wet.
Solo traveller with packed activities so this small room with no view was enough for me cuz I'm only at hotel to bathe and sleep.
Like other reviews, there's a bit of a 'wet' smell in the toilet and the aircon wasn't cold (I didn't ask to change)
It's 3 mins walk to Kuta beach, 2 mins walk to convenience store. Very convenient š

We visited Aksari Resort for a family vacation, and our experience was truly exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. In particular, Ayu Diah at the reception went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It was impressive how all the staff greeted us with warm smiles every time we met and even remembered our names ā a true reflection of genuine hospitality.
The complimentary yoga classes were excellent, the pool was spotless, and the floating breakfast was simply fantastic. The afternoon tea was among the best weāve ever had, and the roomās condition was perfect. The bathtub view was breathtaking, adding to the overall sense of relaxation.
What stood out most was the staffās meticulous attention to detail, ensuring we faced no inconvenience during our stay. Thanks to their care, we were able to enjoy a truly memorable vacation. Iām already considering returning to Ubud just to stay at Aksari Resort again ā I highly recommend it!

š 5/5 ā An Unforgettable Stay at Hard Rock Bali š
From the moment we arrived, every staff member greeted us with genuine smiles and kindness. Throughout our stay, I felt truly cared for ā nothing was too much trouble, and the warmth of the team made the experience so special.
The kids club was a lifesaver for me as a single mother ā my daughter had endless fun, and I could relax knowing she was in safe, happy hands. The swimming pools were fantastic for both children and adults, with a lively yet relaxing atmosphere.
I also indulged in the Rock Spa, which was a rejuvenating treat, and the gym facilities were top-notch for keeping up my fitness routine.
Yes, the stay is on the pricier side, but for families ā especially those with children ā itās worth every cent for the comfort, safety, and joy it brings. I left feeling recharged, grateful, and already looking forward to our next visit.
Thank you, Hard Rock Bali, for giving me the rare gift of me time while my daughter had the time of her life!
For the price paid (ļ¼S$20) and location, it is a good choice.
We can stay for a short time for a day or two. There is fixed window for the normal sunlight to enter, but it cannot be opened. The bathroom inside the hotel is like the one which we can see in many cheap spa. The water pressure is not good.
So not a good choice for couples or families. I suggest staying in a hotel which has a patio / balcony.

We had a truly superb stay at The Apurva Kempinski! The architecture is absolutely stunning ā every corner of the resort is beautifully designed and full of elegance. The service was excellent throughout our stay; the staff were warm, attentive, and professional.
Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. While the pillow had a slight smell, everything else was well-maintained and pleasant. The breakfast spread was exceptional ā one of the best weāve ever had! So many delicious options, and everything was fresh and beautifully presented.
We also enjoyed dining at the hotelās restaurant ā the food was really good, with great flavours and a relaxing atmosphere.
Overall, an unforgettable experience at a breathtaking property. Highly recommended for those seeking luxury, comfort, and world-class hospitality in Bali. šŗ

Location is not really good. No shops around, you need to walk 30min or take taxi and drive out for 5min to get something.
Breakfast is a little disappointing. Need to improve for the breakfast.
Towel is a bit old and turned yellowish. I used my own towel i brought myself.

š“ Kuta Beach Club Hotel ā Great Location, Peaceful Vibe in the Heart of Kuta šŗ
I recently stayed at Kuta Beach Club Hotel, and it was a lovely surprise right in the middle of busy Kuta. The hotel has a cozy, tropical feel with lots of greenery, spacious rooms, and two pools ā perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

What we like:
The room is spacious
The room is clean and free of clutter
The breakfast is outstanding
Staff are proactive
Flexible check in
The pool is clean and well-maintained
Convenience location
What can be better:
The design of the hotel- it takes a long time to walk from the lift to most of the room
Housekeeping- always missed the order and took long time
The soap & shampoo stand was broken
The flushing water didnāt function well
We stayed in a room which had city view = city noise! The traffic and the live band downstairs in the mall was too disturbing.

I recently stayed at Ayana resort in Bali, and it was an unforgettable experience. The resortās private beach provided a serene and exclusive escape, allowing me to relax without crowds. The breathtaking seaside views were simply mesmerizing, especially during sunrise and sunsetātruly picture-perfect moments!
The rooms were incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and well-maintained, making my stay exceptionally comfortable. Waking up to the sound of the waves was a dream. The resortās overall ambiance was peaceful and luxurious, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The staff were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay. Whether youāre looking for a romantic retreat or a tranquil vacation, I highly recommend Ayana resort. I canāt wait to return!

Very Good
GGuest UserWhen I checked into the room there were a number of things missing (towels, robe, slippers, some toiletries) and there was a delay because of a āsupplyā issue but a few hours later most of these had been provided. The towels were a bit damp (not drying easily in wet season). This time there was no moisturiser provided.
The whole resort is in the process of being repaired in part and a lot is looking a bit tired.
Had some poor experiences at the restaurant. At night after rain there are a lot of insects at the Jivva club restaurant and there are no fans or deterrent to help disperse insects
LlimHotel service very good, staffs very friendly and helpful.
The only think need comment is food, no so variety choices for a 5 stars hotel. Limit, I don't know overall holiday Inn hotels standard I think, because my experience before at others holiday Inn all most the same.
But the experience at the hotel is good enough.
GGuest UserIt was a very lovely resort, huge & had lots of activities.
Very friendly/polite workers.
They gave welcoming drinks and string bracelets (consist of 3 elements; The red element symbolizes creativity and bravely, the black element symbolizes powerful and protected us from bad spirit and white element symbolizes spirituality and goodness).
They gave fruit platter in room.
I accidentally missed a step on the front fountain at the entrance steps on my way out walking, twisted my ankle badly on the first day. My husband asked for an ice pack & they gave us a bucket of ice. That was lovely.
Need to focus on cleanliness especially on bathroom - showers (slight molds) and bathtubs (painted on - in the first room before they moved us closer to our son. The paint was peeling off as we filled bathtub with water.
The bathtub was slippery in the second room, my son fell in & hurt his back & hips.
They managed to find me a room so that I could be together with my son (adjoining room) but the air conditioning was not working. I asked them for at least portable AC but they only gave us a pedestal fan.
Gym was very tiny, not balance as there are over 500 rooms in the complex. Plus, lack of monitoring, water dispenser is empty.
The squash balls arenāt pumped so it doesnāt bounce at all.
Porter need to be extra careful when pushing trolley cart, I got struck with it from the back so hard. I injured myself but he didnāt mean it, he was very apologetic.
Therefore we decided to checkout one day early, even though we paid for it.
I asked for lunch as a swap and paid the difference since we wonāt be around for the next day breakfast (due to early checkout) but not possible but instead they did prepare & pack-up breakfast boxes in advance. That was lovely of them.
AAnonymous UserThis hotel is for family relaxing resort type. Quite far from Bali Collection and others central places. Nusa Dua area is good to relax in pool or beach whole day. Beach water is a bit not clean in this area and rocky for kids. Hotel has several pools area. We sat at pool side whole day with drinks and snack.
GGuest UserWalking distance to massage and food options. Nice beach area which is good as people reserve the sun beds from sunrise. Breakfast has a good variety and room service is reasonably priced. A bit āresortyā but has everything you want and great for the price
DDr Layla Tiara BellaAston Denpasar is simply amazing. It is now my resident hotel for my business trips. The rooms are huge and clean. The staff are simply amazing.
GGuest UserGood side:
- Location is good, price is affordable
- Near to airport
- walking distance to many eateries, massage places
-Friendly staff, bottled water given
Bad side:
- Bedsheets/ pillows are not that clean (some stains)
- Towels are not replaced daily
- Neighbouring rooms are not occupied, some kind of vacate notice with padlocks on the doors
GGuest UserA very disappointing stay at this hotel. Issues started at check in and continued throughout our stay . Our family booked 5 rooms at the Alam KUL KUL and we all had issues with facilities and getting any action taken to address them . To start we visited the hotel in mid November 2023 to enquire about late checkout when we stayed in February 2024. The hotel reception were very pleasant in November and guaranteed that late checkout was easy and it was a great rate of 550.000 . The reception staff said that they had added the late checkout to our booking. When we arrived in February everything was different. First the reception staff questioned that we had visited in November and that we did not have late checkout added to our booking. They insisted that we name the hotel staff who we had spoken with in November. After much discussion we had the late checkout added but staff were less than friendly. Then they insisted we pay the extra money straight away. We said no problem but then my wifeās wise card wouldnāt work in their payment machine and staff kept insisting that the wrong pin was being entered. My wife had been using the card for the last 7 days in Bali with no issues. So I then gave them my wise card and was surprised when it wouldnāt work in their machine either. I also had been using my card daily in Bali with no issues. After much further discussion with hotel reception they said that we could pay at check out. We had already pre paid for all 5 rooms prior to this. On the day of checkout I received a request to contact reception as they had no records of us asking for late checkout. During several WhatsApp messages from reception they said that we had refused to pay for the late checkout and that we had stated that we would get it free. I was absolutely disappointed to receive these messages and we had never stated anything about free late checkout. The reception staff continued sending messages that were completely false statements. In reflection I think that the staff were trying to cover up the poor service lack of professionalism that they lacked. This were only a few of the small issues that arose during our stay . Our daughter and family had a mouse running around their room and it took staff 3 days to come and look at the room. There was never any offer to change rooms. Another family group had their air conditioning not working and it took 3 days for the hotel to address that issue . My wife ordered drinks during happy hour at the garden pool and when the bill came they wanted to charge full price and their staff stated that my wife had ordered room service! She was locked out of our room at the time because the electronic key kept failing.
On 3 separate occasions I asked to speak with the hotel manager to see if we could get better communication and service. Unfortunately the manager was always unavailable, so can only assume that is where the problem starts . Too important or donāt care about hotel guests.
Most of the hotels staff were extremely friendly and welcoming especially the restaurant staff.
The Alam is a very old property in a very good location. The rooms have been renovated and beds are comfortable. After visiting Bali about 16 times and staying in many different hotels and villas this was our most disappointing stay in Bali. Itās a shame that the small issues kept coming and that the hotel were either trying to cover up or complacent about.
AAnonymous UserStaying here was a real retreat. The room which has pool access we booked was clean, spacious, intimate bcs there only a few room. Our room was very close to the dining gazebo where there were some plugs so we could working with our laptop with a sight of ricefields. the bathroom has a good warm water shower. I love when the morning sun can penetrate to the room. Nasi goreng and Mie goreng for breakfast are quite tasty. - But sometimes you can hear a gecko at night and unfortunately during our 2n3d stay, there were no one clean and make up our room. Also tissue and water didn't get refilled.
