We had perfect stay in this hotel celebrating my husband’s birthday. Our room was super comfortable and had beautiful sea view (218). I think hotel is going through some renovations as bathroom was newly done . We also used swimming pool that was great as well as sauna . I would just say that floor needs some more cleaning in the pool area,  but changing rooms were done up and overall we had fun. In the morning we had lovely continental breakfast. All staff were super friendly and I think that also added to our stay . We would definitely return again .

Unfortunately the hotel was under staffed and bar staff (1 person only) on Saturdy & Sunday needed training. Served a pint which clearly had gone off and tried to charge for it inspite of the poor condition. Lack of attention to detail - examples below; 3 of us had dinner, 2 of which complained as food was not hot, the same for plates. One person asked for coffee, approx 9pm, was told that was not possible. Mayonnaise was nearly 3 months past the use by date. We did not book dinner again. We stayed over the Late May Bank Holiday weekend 2025. One of the busiest times of year. We discussed the issues with the duty manager, she was working 18 hours per shift, the best staff member there.

Stayed here for one night for a wedding. Beautiful location but hard to get to if you don’t drive (taxis available but fairly expensive). Staff were very friendly and polite. I had an issue with my room and they came straight away to take a look. I had to change rooms in the end and they were very helpful and gave me a free Prosecco for the trouble (though it was no trouble at all!). Breakfast was good and the bed was comfy. Wish I had more time to spend in the area as it was so beautiful!

Clean facility with a pub and a kitchen for guests to prepare or store their own food. They advertised breakfast as well as dinner but I didn’t see either. No front desk so I was directed to call ahead but I never got an answer or confirmation that I would be met to get my room. The bartender in the pub below apparently is the person who gets you access as this is what happened to me. One shared bathroom for all rooms, I believe, though this wasn’t an issue.

We had a room for a family which was a lovely room. Very comfortable bed, cozy welsh feel. Smelled lovely and fresh Being from North Wales but living in England the hotel had a real feeling of home. The room was cozy and warm with a double window in the mountaineous nature. I last stayed here over Christmas 7 years ago and id stay here again. The Abbey grange really is picturesque full of character and worth the money. Highly recommended.

Had such a lovely little stay. Such a quaint village surrounded by lovely nature. The locals were super friendly - the staff were also really friendly and great. Loved our breakfast in the mornings - each time they brought a little cut up sausage for my dog. Would recommend for anyone wanting to escape the city.

I didn’t know how to turn on the air conditioner in the room, so I ordered a set meal that included breakfast and dinner. The burgers for dinner were delicious, and the steak for an extra 2.5 was even better. There are many peacocks, which can be fed and are not afraid of people. After staying for three days, I met a couple having their wedding there on the first day.

Great location near all attractions. Super small room, don’t try to fit 2 people into this room or bed. Great buffet breakfast with ‘full Welsh breakfast’.
