Stayed here for 2 nights while in Lusaka. The location is in the center, it is very convenient to go to Levy Mall, banks, government offices, etc. Great lobby and restaurant (tried the lamb stew). The rooms are on the small side and could use a little more decor, but overall ok. The hallway carpets were stained and needed replacing. The staff were very friendly and helpful in getting around Lusaka.

Taj Pamodzi is a wonderful place, and I appreciate the high standards you maintain. However, I encountered an issue with the room carpets, which had many dirty stains. This prompted me to change rooms, but the new room also had cleanliness issues. Please address this concern to ensure a better experience for future guests.

Natwange exudes natural beauty, accompanied by excellent customer service. The staff is friendly and easy to communicate with, providing great rooms in a clean environment. The surroundings are very safe, with reliable security measures. I look forward to returning here again.

From the moment I arrived the staff really stood out as wanting to meet my needs/expectations (a bit of an early check in) without any fuss or bother. I really found the room to be excellent with that ”classis lovely crisp linen” feeling as soon as I climbed into my large bed after a very long flight to get to Lusaka. Breakfast was average and environment was ok. There is a 24-hour convenience store near the gas station next to it. It is too difficult to find a convenience store in Lusaka. In a business district, you can go to the supermarket to buy something during the day.

The newly opened (2023) Cargo88 Hotel is an 88-room hotel constructed from cargo containers. It's a 2-minute walk from Eastpark Mall where you can find stores, a big supermarket, money exchange shops, and many restaurants (try Fat Chef). The hotel is an easy walk to the Sunday Craft Market. A taxi to the airport will be around 250 ZMW (around USD 10) by Yango. An Indian firm designed the big, modern, and chic lobby. There is plenty of seating. Check-in was fast and efficient, and a welcome drink was provided. The standard room is comfortable but tiny. it has all the amenities you'd expect from a safe, slippers, and individual toiletries. The bathroom is tiny, with good hot water, and a rain shower, and the monogrammed fluffy towels were a nice touch. The bed was comfortable with outlets near the bed and free, fast, and reliable internet. The standard room is good for one person. The more expensive deluxe room is bigger and more suitable for a couple. There is a spa but no pool. The outdoor area is a good place to have a drink or see the sunset. The service is efficient, friendly, and top-notch. The buffet breakfast is served from 6:30 to 10. It has a limited selection of pastries, hot entrees, and fruit. Omelets are available on request. You should get there early because the buffet isn't replenished. Serving instant coffee was a total surprise for this caliber of hotel. There is an upcharge if you don't want instant coffee. Breakfast was a big disappointment in terms of variety and quality. Cargo88 is a unique modern, trendy hotel in a prime safe neighborhood, close to a mall. Even though the rooms are small (opt for a Deluxe Room), they are comfortable, and the service and staff are great. This hotel would be perfect for those who want to experience this unique hotel and are willing to pay a premium for it.

The staff was incredibly amazing, very helpful and alert. The overall hotel was clean and fresh. Our dinner was good but the breakfast was the best with a lot of variety and tasty options. This will be our go back to place if we return to Lusaka.

Weird weird weird, that's how I'd describe my stay at Mika- Apparently they don't take bookings from Trip but are still on the app and have a number of reviews from people! They eventually accepted the booking and let us stay - The place resembled something from The Shining - EMPTY, quiet and eerie ! Location is good because it's near to the airport but don't stay here for any longer than needs be ! Also DO NOT book the airport transfer it is extortion ! Rather download ULENDO the app and book a taxi in advance with them! Mika were charging 300 PP - We got the taxi for 115 in total! Bed was comfortable, room was relatively clean but very meh overall - Pictured is the absolutely packed restaurant 🤭

The room is the standard of Vienna in China. The service staff needs to be improved. She only cleaned once every three days and hung the old towels back. It's a bit speechless. If there is one more person staying, breakfast will be charged 20 US dollars. It's not worth 20 RMB. The only big advantage is that the room is for smoking.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. They have done an amazing job from top to bottom. No detail has been overlooked. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location and still set yourself miles apart with an amazing staff and wonderful service. Form the moment i arrived,I was made to feel special. Everyone had a smile on their face and did everything they could to make me feel welcome. the hotel employee, Nadeen, Sidney ,Gift, more of the name i didn't recall all are morvoluse. The rooms are comfortable and incredibly well designed. I stayed in room 6011, which has one of the two balconies in the hotel and from which you can see out facing the the mall. anything you need is a quick phone call away. Or you can just pop your head outside and ask someone at the restaurant for help...there are no shortage of willing participants. As I said, I cannot say enough and could go on forever. If you want to know more, please just message me. I am happy to go into much greater detail. But the bottom line - I recommend this hotel without reservation...to anyone...go as much as you possibly can.

On Saturday night there was an event inside pitched tents and the noise was unbearable. This is not what one expects from a five-star hotel like the Intercontinental. I complained and was moved to another room at 11 pm. The actual room 304 was clean. Even the new room 311 was also clean.

Best hotel in lusaka!! Enjoyed a wonderful night in the hotel with my girlfriend. The staff was really helpful and caring arranged us a covid test in our room even though the company they mainly use was not able to give our results in time since we had a early flight in the morning and we had a late check in they arranged us another company which let us not miss our flight. The room was super clean and modern. There is a bar/restaurant at the roof floor and a gym thats open 24 hours a day. The food was impressive and basically every detail about the hotel amazed us after struggling to reach lusaka from mazabuka.

I had an incredible stay at the Southern Sun Ridgeway Hotel, thanks to the outstanding service from the team! Flyness, the receptionist, was a star! She made my booking and check-in process seamless and efficient. Her warm welcome and prompt service set the tone for a fantastic stay. Special mentions to Nalwendo, the porter, who greeted me with a smile and showed me to my room with ease. Innocent from security was also very friendly and ensured my safety throughout my stay. The hotel's staff truly go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience. I had two days to kill in Zambia and decided to check in at Lilayi Lodge after a recommendation by a colleague. I am so glad I did. Everything at the Lodge are top notch. The quality of construction of the lodges is very high, and then, the chef prepares excellent food. Very well-balanced flavors. Also, I am a Scotch Whisky fan and they have a good selection. Highly recommended.
