I was very satisfied with my stay this time! The hotel environment was comfortable and tidy, the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the amenities were all well-equipped. The staff were friendly and polite, check-in and check-out were smooth, and they were quick to provide assistance when needed. The hotel's location was convenient, with good transportation and dining options nearby. Overall, it's great value for money and I had a very comfortable stay. I would consider staying here again next time I'm in the area, and I highly recommend it to other travelers!

Facilities: Well-equipped. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Service: Good. Ambiance: The hotel isn't soundproof, so it can be a bit noisy at night with cars passing by on the street. It's in Chinatown, an Asian crew hotel, convenient for getting to the city center and a handy meeting point for one-day tours.

* Bedroom - There's a decent level of privacy. - It's clean. - The individual charging facilities are a nice touch. * Bathroom and Showers - There seem to be few, but surprisingly, they aren't crowded. - You can borrow a hairdryer from the reception. - Shower towels are provided as standard (free of charge). - The shower space feels a bit small. * Kitchen and Dining Area - It's very spacious. - The dishes are a bit lacking (there are hardly any large bowls). - Overall, the ventilation isn't bad. - It gets crowded in the evenings due to the high number of users. * Overall Impression - Generally, it's a comfortable stay with no major inconveniences. - The location and price are good.

Excellent place to stay. Close to shops, clubs and take away food shops. Very quite place to sleep. Bed are comfortable to sleep in. Would recommend. friendly staff. Parking spaces can be a little bit tight if you have 4wd Ute

The buffet restaurant managed to find us a table even though we didn't have a reservation on the night we arrived, which made the kids very happy. It's very close to the aquarium, and the whale watching pier is also nearby. It was a really great stay, and the kids felt the staff's enthusiasm, even trying to speak English, which was an unexpected bonus!

We would also like to thank Monica Cisneros for the delicious macarons—they were a lovely and thoughtful surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and the hotel’s elegant interior, which beautifully combines classic heritage character with refined modern design. Every detail made the stay feel calm, comfortable, and special. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable experience. Capella Sydney will definitely be our first choice whenever we have the opportunity to return to Sydney.

Perfect stay in the heart of Burwood! The location can’t be beaten—walking distance to Westfield Mall, Burwood Park, and countless Asian eateries. The guesthouse has a charming historic vibe with polished wooden floors, plus modern perks like free WiFi and a coin-operated laundry. The host was super friendly and helped us store luggage after check-out.

Excellent location just a couple mins walk from Town Hall station. Also has a Woolworth conveniently nearby and QVB is just across the road. Room was clean, room service was excellent and towels were replaced daily. Mini fridge and iron too in the room if needed. Bathroom is spacious enough and concierge is very friendly.

Overall, the location and environment were fine. However, when checking out, a staff member at the front desk told us to attach the luggage tags ourselves when we asked to store our bags. I found this completely unacceptable. Even for a four-star hotel, this is unreasonable. Plus, the luggage tags themselves were of very poor quality and broke immediately when we tried to attach them, which was extremely annoying for guests. This service really brought down the whole experience.
