As a professional motorcoach operator, I've stayed in numerous hotels and motels across North America, and this little small-town motel rates among some of the best! They had a space reserved for my 45-foot coach when I arrived. A staff member even came out to greet me! The room was exceptionally clean and well-appointed. I really enjoyed the oversized rocker recliner! I was able to elevate my feet while watching television without having to lie in bed. I look forward to my return trip on Saturday night and will stay here anytime I'm in this area! Truly friendly and helpful staff!

Red Roof Inn Allentown Airport

Our venue was canceled last minute and the hotel did not care. They get customers all the time because of this venue and to not understand or care about the cancellation by the event was horrible. The only good thing that happened is the third party app that handled the planned trip stepped up big time and spent almost six hours trying to negotiate with the hotel to no avail. Trip.com is the best!!!
Red Roof Inn Pittsburgh North - Cranberry Township
3.5/5104 Reviews
My wife and I stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Cranberry Township while in the Pittsburgh area as part of a multi-state fall color trip. We arrived at about 5:30 p.m. on a Wednesday. The front desk clerk spoke with a heavier accent that was a little difficult to understand at times. The experience however improved from here as the room and the property overall was in very good condition. It had an on-site guest laundry which came in handy for us to do some laundry on a longer trip; the clerk was able to give us change, as we had somehow managed not to acquire a lot of change for as far into the trip as we usually do. The property is very close to the Pennsylvania Turnpike and you will hear noise from the Turnpike throughout the night as traffic apparently never drops off much along this highway, however it was not a major distraction.
Jefferson Hills Motel

The Motel is in a beautiful location. The room was clean and in the end it was a more than pleasant stay. The room was quite small, with only one bedside table, and the no availability of any shower gel or shampoo. The fridge in the room was very noisy, but luckily the noise was constant and so we got used to it after a few minutes.

The picture shown looks very nice, but that is not reality! The rates are great and I must remember that we get what we pay for. The rooms are musty to moldy smelling, and while we were grateful that animals were accepted, and not charged, we would never have stayed there if we knew what it was like. There is no elevator, and when we arrived about 8PM, we were told we would have to pay a higher rate because no king beds were available on first floor. Since we are older, we took the two queen beds on the first floor, knowing we could not carry our crated animal up the stairs. The attendant did give us some good directions for local eateries, thankfully. The beds were comfortable, and we were exhausted, so we slept well. We did choose to pay for our pet at another hotel on the way back.

I made a mess of this. Travelled without GPS and I didn’t read the hotel email properly. I was in a rush. Had a meeting to go to and realised there is no reception, no staff. It’s all by electronic door code. Lesson learned. Always read the email. Anyhow, the room is basic, motels are basic! Nothing unusual.
