The first stop in Zhenjiang is Jinshan Temple

Jinshan Temple in Zhenjiang City is one of the four famous Zen Buddhist temples in China❗️ Jinshan Temple is located on Jinshan Mountain in the northwest of Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province. It was built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and is forty-four meters high. Jinshan Temple was originally in the middle of the Yangtze River, but later the river changed course and connected to the land. The temple is built according to the mountain's terrain, integrating the mountain and the temple into one. The main buildings in the temple include the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Mahavira Hall, the Guanyin Pavilion, the Sutra Library, and the Abbot's Room. Jinshan Temple has many ancient relics, such as the Cishou Pagoda, Fahai Cave, Miaogao Platform, Lengjia Platform, and Liuyun Pavilion (also known as "Jiangtian Yilan Pavilion"). The most famous story is the Legend of the White Snake, particularly the scene of the flood at Jinshan Temple. Although it is just a story, it adds to the mystery of Jinshan Temple, making it a popular filming location for many TV dramas. The most famous food in Zhenjiang is 🐡 Yong'an Fish Restaurant·Zhenjiang Cuisine (Xijin Ferry Store), which is located nearby in Xijin Ferry.
