A Toast to Slow Living

#kotakinabaluguide One of my favorite moments during my Kota Kinabalu trip was this quiet café stop with pumpkin kaya sourdough and green tea. The sourdough was beautifully grilled, slightly crunchy on the outside, and airy on the inside. I loved how the sweet pumpkin kaya and creamy butter added that extra warmth to each bite. The environment was peaceful—wooden furniture, cozy lighting, and a shelf full of art books and little decorations that made the space feel personal. It’s the kind of place where you can just sit for hours, sipping tea and feeling completely at ease.
