A pleasant lodge. Beautiful grounds, a decent pool. The room is large, well-insulated, the bed comfortable, the shower has good water pressure, and everything you need is there. There was no soap or hairdryer in the room, but they provided one immediately upon request. They provide a separate towel for the pool, but you need to ask at reception. On the downside, there was some kind of insect repellent in the closet that stank the entire room. There are no mosquito nets, meaning you can't open the windows at night, making the room stuffy. The air conditioning is quite noisy and doesn't cool very well. The Wi-Fi connection system is a bit odd—they use vouchers that expired half the time, requiring you to go back and get them again. Breakfast is okay, but repetitive. They offer a choice of scrambled eggs with various toppings like sausage, bacon, mushrooms, beans, etc.; you have to order it, and it takes no more than 10 minutes to cook. The location is quite far from everything; we once walked to the waterfall in the morning, which wasn't very convenient. There was no free shuttle to the falls. The hotel's shuttle to the Lookout Café was $10 each way, which is not exactly cheap, and the car was subpar. Room service from restaurants in the evening costs $3 and takes a long time. They didn't exactly deliver what I ordered; apparently they weren't in stock. They didn't ask me about substitutions; they bought what they wanted. They allowed me to check out 1.5 hours late on my last day. There aren't many budget hotels in Victoria Falls. This one turned out to be quite good in terms of price and quality, if you're willing to take transfers and taxis. I couldn't find a taxi near the hotel, so it's best to arrange a taxi in advance.
Both sides of the road are their homes. Zimbabwe prices are much more expensive than Zambia and Botswana, but there is WiFi in the room, and there is breakfast. You can reserve it late and the service is good! There is no free vehicle, this town, no matter where you go, it is 10 dollars a car, several times more expensive than Shanghai!
A hotel with tiny rooms. But everything is clean and quiet. A bird was constantly knocking on the glass with its beak.
The hotel has a swimming pool and a bar. The water in the pool is good.
Breakfasts are paid separately. They take a long time to prepare and for that kind of money they could have made something decent and served at least some tomatoes or greens with eggs at the price of a good restaurant.
Overall, the main advantage of the hotel is that you can walk from it to the waterfall and restaurants. There are no other advantages, except that the building is new.
I can recommend it for the price. The WiFi is good, but you have to run and change the codes every few hours.

The Kafusi Lodge is newly renovated and very clean. The guests have access to a spacious living with comfortable couches facing a flat screen TV. We had the choice of buying and cooking our own food in a fully equipped kitchen, or ordering a breakfast of eggs, sausage, beans, bread, coffee, or tea for only $10 per person. The manager, Jiyane, picked us up at the airport and personally guided us through the town Victoria Falls and surrounding areas making our experience wonderful and informative. Zimbabwe does use American dollars and some excursions are a bit pricey, but overall I recommend this destination and lodge to anyone interested in seeing this world-renowned waterfall.

An hour's walk from the waterfall, the environment is beautiful, there are two ducks, breakfast is good, the room is a bit cloudy, the reason for not facing the sun, health still pay attention to a little detail, there are hair left by the front guests. Overall satisfaction.
Everything was good and the breakfast was varied and delicious. The hotel was far from the center, but I already knew about this information.

AAP3The Azambezi Hotel in Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls is an exceptional destination that exceeded my every expectation. From the moment I arrived at the property, I was struck by its stunning beauty and tranquil atmosphere. The hotel is set in a lush garden, with a gorgeous view of the Zambezi River, and is just a short distance from the world-famous Victoria Falls.
The rooms at the Azambezi Hotel are beautifully decorated, with all the modern amenities you could want. Each room has its own private balcony or patio, with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the decor, which reflected the local culture and history, without sacrificing comfort or luxury.
The hotel's staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was a memorable one. Whether it was arranging for transportation to the falls or suggesting local activities and attractions, they were always available and eager to help.
The food at the Azambezi Hotel was truly exceptional. The restaurant offered a wide range of delicious local and international cuisine, and the presentation was always impeccable. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which featured a variety of fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Finally, the hotel's location was simply unbeatable. With its proximity to the Victoria Falls, I was able to explore the area easily and take in all the breathtaking natural beauty of this world wonder. The hotel also offers a range of activities, from river cruises to guided tours of the falls, ensuring that there was always something to do and see.
In summary, the Azambezi Hotel is an outstanding destination that I would recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience in Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls. With its beautiful setting, exceptional service, and top-notch amenities, it truly exceeded my every expectation.
Also if you are lucky you will see some animals roaming around the garden as I spotted this elephant at night in the car park!
GGuest UserWhat a wonderful place to stay. The staff were super friendly and service excellence was shown at all times. Only remark I want to leave is that a kettle in the lodge would be nice.

CChanté DevnarainClean and spacious hotel rooms. Super friendly, efficient and helpful service from all the staff. Breakfast was great. The hotel has a nice pool area and bar as well as a restaurant. The hotel is in an ideal location near to all activities, the falls & the local town. Lots of wildlife around like monkeys, buck, elephants & hippos. Great stay!
KKobe & KyleThe Hostel grounds themselves and the tent was very clean. We just did not realize that by booking a “double room” that it was actually a tent. The provided fan was nice and kept us cool in the evening and pool kept us clean during the day.
The location though is a bit outside of the town center though so you either need a car or to call a taxi to get anywhere.
The restaurant onsite was okay, but it wasn’t explained to us that occasionally they have a special BBQ and you can’t order anything else from the menu. If we knew that at the time, we would have stopped at the market and self catered.
But the staff was all lovely and helpful.

GGuest UserDespite the price was a tad steep, everything was excellent during our trip. The driver of free shuttle service was so attentive to introduce each stop snd reminded the pick up time on our way to Victoria Falls. Room itself was small yet clean with spectacular waterhole view. Shortfall was our room was too far from the waterhole itself. Nonetheless their service and breakfast were of top notch and view from the restaurant was unbeatable.
What a mesmerizing stay!
GGuest UserIt is indeed a century-old luxury hotel built by British colonists. It shows aristocratic temperament everywhere, low-key atmosphere, thoughtful and meticulous service. The black brother guides you to a special living room for check-in, and sends you wet wipes and lemonade. The back garden of the hotel is facing the waterfall bridge. The most wonderful thing is to enjoy the mist rising from the waterfall while drinking English afternoon tea.
DDesZizouHad a great stay here - very comfortable resort with super friendly staff. I was amazed one day to see elephants across the road feeding on a tree. It was a wonderful surprise
Breakfasts are good here too! Highly recommended accommodation.
