It's our last day here. Hence, I am writing the review now( I usually wait until the end). We only came to Lisbon for a city break, to visit this beautiful city . Hotel staff is friendly, our room was spotless, I really can't fault them. We've a balcony as well, but since we've been visiting a lot, we haven't spent too much time here. Yes, there is this sad, abandoned building across, but who cares really? If I wanted a sea view, I would've booked a hotel by the sea. The room was warm during the night, and the housekeeping came every day to tidy it. We were 100% pleased with this stay. There was no noise during the night to be fair. Or we were so tired and slept like babies?!

The hotel is very close to the airport. However they do not offer a shuttle. I took Uber there and back to airport which costed me about 5-7 euros. The room is not very big but comfy. The cleanliness can be improved a little bit. The breakfast selection is mostly sweet bakery. There are not many savory options. The staffs are friendly but they don’t speak much. Overall I would stay here again for an overnight layover just for the price.

Interior of this hotel was amazing including outside pool area! Staffs were helpful and the hotel was located close to the metro. Only things were that the mattress and pillows was too soft for me so i did woke up with back and neck pain. I wish they provided free water bottles in the fridge but otherwise, everything was incredible!

Arriving late on the Tuesday night with fond memories of dorm parties and tequila slammers, I was greeted by what I initially thought was captain Jack Sparrow, but who actually transpired to be a very friendly chap who helped us to navigate the intricacies of the main entrance. Door buzzed, suitcases lifted up the stairs and ugh who let mum and dad in looks absorbed, we were handed our keys by a lovely member of the team alongside vouchers for two free shots. Enthusiastically we were informed that the bar was open until 1am that night, although we had missed the pub crawl for the evening. I’m flattered I guess, however we decided to give the shots a miss in favour of a nice sleep. Yup, Father Time catches up with us all… We had a private double with a shared bathroom, and although very small it was comfortable enough. The pillow has perhaps seen better days, but the A/C was a life saver! Spending the days walking around town and doing some gentle exploring, the nights were largely spent for myself at least in the bar area downstairs. It’s a small but perfectly functional area, and in all honesty wasn’t the screaming mess of teenagers away from home for the first time that I had been expecting. At 3 euros a pint I was certainly very happy to sit and read whilst various cool young things did their thing in the background. Declining participation in the pub crawl for a second time, I was tempted with the tapas tasting but plans for the night changed due to friends arriving a day early and diner reservations being made. From a comfort point of view, our bathroom was shared between three double rooms I believe on the third floor, and this was never an issue. I attribute this to the fact that we were likely on very different schedules with us going out for the day and back for the night, as opposed to the perhaps more night based activities of our fellow residents. Bedroom like I said small, but hey, who cares, we weren’t here to sit in a room all day. The breakfast was absolutely fine, and for 5 euros a day you really cannot complain. All in all very happy with my stay, though peeking into an open dorm room one day my god I wouldn’t have survived the week unless you could take 25 years off me! Good job though overall Sant Jordi, and I’d certainly consider staying again - safe, friendly and somewhere I’m sure 20 year old me would have had a blast!

The pros: -very close to metro station. - it was clean - I liked the friendliness of the staff - 24/7 reception - kettle, coffee maker in the room - the bed was comfortable and although the room was small i had everything needed The cons: -extremely thin walls, you could hear your neighbours conversations and peeing. -the room had a small window that I couldn't open and the view was on the corridor so you have to keep in blocked by curtains to avoid people looking at you. Which means, no natural light all stay - before my visit, I asked if the hotel if they can provide gluten free bread for breakfast, as I'm gluten intolerant, and they replied no. - the decor is cheap looking, this hotel pretend to be more fancy than it is in reality - shower doors didn't close properly, so every shower left me with flooding

We booked the room with lightshow, because we were curious about it. The show was nice and it was about 15 mins long that runs once a day at 10pm. You can also watch the show in the bar or on the TV and you really only need to watch it once to understand what it's about. Also it's important to book a room on the 2/3 floor to really enjoy the show, otherwise you would be looking down at it. We wouldn't book a room for the light show again because it doesn't worth the price difference, but for sure the hotel is very nice and the room is comfortable and for sure we will stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel from 26th - 29th Sept 2023. We arrived at 14.20 which was 40 minutes early it we was allowed to check in early. The room was a double room with a small balcony overlooking main street. It had 2 single beds a bathroom with small corner shower. The main living room with beds had a TV with HDMI and a space to hang clothes with about 8 hangers. There was a safe in the room which was free as was the WiFi which had amazing speeds of 335 Meg download and 128 upload ( wow ). Breakfast was average I would say. Scrambled eggs, hot dog sausages and tomatoes. There was fruit, Yoghurt and pastries and orange juice, tropical juice and apple juice. The coffee was delicious. The staff at the hotel overall was nice albeit we had one strange encounter where a member of staff knocked on our door and asked if he could check the safe. My wife said she had just got out of the shower and asked if he could call back in 10 minutes but was told no he needed access now. My wife opened the door wrapped in a towel and a male member of staff popped his head round the door and gave a quick glance at the safe and left without actually coming in. We both found this strange. Location was not to bad it took us about 20 minutes to walk into Rossio Square along the busy main road. The travel time to and from the airport by Uber was about 20 - 25 minutes due to heavy traffic. Overall we would stay here again Value for money was good for what we wanted

Very clean hotel Location is good if you want to be close to the airport, easy to find walking distance from airport only 5 mins away from T1 Front desk staff are super polite and helpful felt very welcoming

This hotel was in the middle, the absolute middle, of Carnival. What fun! Raquel helped us from checking in, recommendations of where to go and eat, where to get a cheap Carnival costume, and what to expect with the mass of people at the front door. Oh, the breakfast buffet was excellent, the room excellent.

I really enjoyed our staying in lisbon apartment.The best thing:There is no reception,you have entrance code to come inside building and room.The room is super super clean.The cleaning service and virtual reception was really good and fast.For us everything was enough beacause we spent all our time to visit lisbon and around.Hotel is near the airport and 15 min driving to the centro.We had our car,there is parking space around but you have to pay.At keast I will choose this brand again to visit lisbon.

Excellent contemporary designed hotel, which was very clean and comfortable. There is an extensive selection of food for breakfast, which is good value. Ideal location for visiting the attractions of Lisbon, due to its close proximity to the Metro. The receptionists were all very helpful, particularly Alexander and Caroline, who are great ambassadors for the hotel.

First, very close to airport, which makes it cheap to taxi or Uber. Hotel is in the business district so it’s fairly quiet at night, except for hearing the train, which I kind of like. Rooms are old fashioned, and on the smaller side. Staff was very friendly. Lobby is nice and bright. We liked having a nice bar and restaurant on premises. Breakfast is nice, but it’s a mad house in the mornings. This hotel has four small elevators, which rude guests try to force themselves onto with luggage when they’re already full. During our stay, one of the main, bigger elevators remained broken. Since we were on the 9th floor, we had to wait longer to go up or down. I highly recommend you request a room no higher than the 2nd floor if you don’t want to wait. Wi-Fi here is terrible. Our phones would not stay connected and trying to do anything online was beyond frustrating. We very much liked the location. Close to the metro, close to a grocery store, lots of coffee shops in close proximity. Very easy to get to downtown Lisbon. If we were to Lisbon, we would definitely consider staying here again, however I would search for a good deal on a more up to date hotel closer to city center if you don’t want to take multiple train stops.

I regret choosing the Holiday Inn Express Airport Hotel. It seems to be the only Lisbon airport hotel that does not have a free shuttle to the nearby airport… you have to pay for your own taxi. Also, when I checked in, I specifically asked for a room with a bathtub, but, strangely, the desk clerk who checked me in neglected to tell me a very important detail. So I got my luggage upstairs, looking forward to soaking in a nice hot bath after a hard day of schlepping luggage around uphill on cobblestone streets in the heat. Once I got all my clothes off, I realized with horror that the bathtub plug was missing, so I could not, in fact, take a bath. I called the desk to report that I had no plug, and, instead of offering to bring one up to my room, they insisted that I come back downstairs to get a plug. So I had to get dressed all over again and go downstairs, only to find out that the hotel keeps all bathtub plugs behind the desk (without telling the guests that this is so case). Wouldn’t you think the clerk who checked me in would have thought to give me a plug at that time, when I requested a bathtub? Hot and tired, and with aching muscles, the getting dressed again for a compulsory trip downstairs was the last straw. And this claims to be a 3-star hotel. I don’t think so! Do your research and a hotel that provides a free shuttle to the airport… and a #%*^ bathtub plug!!! needs to re-think this.

A good hotel to spend the night before a flight, there is parking. Clean, but rooms need renovation. For a longer stay, I would consider something more comfortable.

1 star to bring attention to the fact that the shuttle driver was 15 min late (earliest and first pick up of the morning, this is NOT a airport hotel despite its name) just enough to cause my mother to miss her flight from Lisbon to Zurich. I scheduled the shuttle pick up the previous afternoon after receiving assurance from the front desk that a 4 am pick for a 5:55 departure from Lisbon to Zurich would be adequate time to catch the flight (the airport is 2.4km away or 4 min drive ). Advertised to provide an “exceptional experience”, I relied on the recommendations of the front desk to schedule the shuttle pick up time, and I trusted the shuttle driver to arrive on time. When he didn’t, I became highly agitated as was the other guest waiting for the shuttle. I selected this hotel solely for its proximity to the airport and for their shuttle service, specifically to avoid disasters like a missed flight. They did not meet expectations and it cost us significantly. While the facilities were new, modern and functioning properly, and I would have rated the hotel five stars, minus 4 because the price to reissue a new boarding ticket was over 4x the price it cost for a night’s accommodation at the Ibis. I write this to inform other travelers and notify management for improvement.

didn't like: 1) bathroom sharing was not clearly stated in the listing , nor the reservation. 2) the gents bathroom was too small 3) the ceiling above washbasin in gents bathroom was too low. 4) room door did not close and thus had to be locked every time

Affordable and ok place to stay when you just need a place for one night. Not a pretty location, but easy to access with a car and the train station is not too far away. Wouldn't stay longer, but on the way to the north of Portugal served a purpose as one night accommodation and offered good enough value for money.
