The same Pousada series, this is an old castle. It is also very flavorful. For breakfast, you must try the famous local Iberico sausage. The tower opposite the front desk must be climbed to see the panoramic view of the small town. The restaurant next door, the venue used to be a prison, the environment is very flavorful, the dishes are very delicious, I even had two dinners
Peaceful place, in an historic building, wonderful view from the hill to the castle walls and city. Book upper floors rooms.
Very clean and comfortable.
The pool area is comfortable, grass floor, umbrellas and chairs available.
Breakfast is ok, enough choices. Indoor room, wish it would have seating outside.
Hotel very well located, with privileged views of Alqueva and Castle de Mourão.
The room was very comfortable and was very clean.
Very pleasant outdoor space with children's and adult swimming pools.
The pool bar and restaurant with good options and suitable prices.
I emphasise the sympathy of the staff, always available.
We were a little disappointed for a 4-star hotel, air conditioning was noisy, TV channels had almost all rain, bad image. On the day we had water out under the toilet, and out of the bathroom glass swallowing the floor. It was quickly resolved, but it shouldn't be, because it's things that do not happen with more maintenance. The glass board of the bathroom was almost falling. I had something ridiculous that was having the mini-fridge inside the toilet!! why? There was room in the room, the bed was comfortable and coatted, the breakfast was sinful without regional products, no cheese, no local fillers, etc. Orange juice was packed and had no alternative to milk. It certainly perceives some adjustments.
The reality of the hotel is different from what we found. Ecork is in the rehabilitation phase, so the photos available on the website do not reflect the state of degradation in which it finds itself. The expectation was much better than the reality.
Although the pool, spa and surroundings are welcoming, there is, for example, no working pool bar. The internet in the room was non-existent or weak. The beds are comfortable and there is silence. As it is a sustainable hotel, with water recovery, hot water takes some time to appear in the taps.
Had a wonderful stay at the Convento de Arraiolos, even if a slightly eventful. Arriving late at night, we found the reception empty and had to wander though the hotel grounds - which are not small - searching for someone to talk to. Eventually we found the restaurant and a member of staff sent word to the receptionist. I couldn't help but wonder if we weren't interrupting the young lady's dinnertime... She was very apologetic for the absence, and even told us to use the internal pool and sauna, even though it was already well beyond operating hours. Both pools are excellent, and the sauna soothing after a very long day. The bed was super comfortable and breakfast quite good - don't miss the local cheeses and bread!
Even though the hotel seemed to be running quite short staffed - which may account for the fact we found uncollected trash in the bathroom bin - the staff were impeccable and highly professional. Moreover, the tennis court is in a state of disarray, the pavement sure looks in need of a makeover.
All in all definitely recommended for a wonderful stay and relaxation, just some management decisions seem baffling, at a place run by a brand of such reputation as the Pestana group.
It took us a while to navigate in the town to find the hotel as google map wasnt very accurate. Im so glad for free parking at the hotel's basement garage as the town's parking was mainly for locals. Room was big and comfortable, making me wish that i have a longer stay here. I love the room layout! I am very appreciative of the body gel, shampoo, hand wash and body lotion provided as the scent is amazing. I do wish there is conditioner and toothbrush though.

CCaGirlThe pros about the hotel: Location, service, and cleanliness of the room were all great. The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing inside, and knowing it used the façade of the old bull-ring was pretty cool too. Now the cons: the pillows, were very flat and nothing to them so I didn't sleep well and had a slight headache when I woke up and the breakfast was a bit expensive for what it was. Otherwise, it was a good stay.
GGuest UserWell located, easy access to transport and walking distance to the historic center.
Everything very clean and tidy.
Very welcoming staff and excellent breakfast in a super friendly place.
Definitely coming back

GGuest UserOne of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in! Staff were unbelievably kind, rooms and bathrooms were super clean and the terrace and living areas were really nice! Would definitely recommended!
GGuest UserThe first thing you’ll hear when you arrive are birds chirping. It’s like stepping into Garden of Eden. The hotel is world class in terms of architecture, amenities, service and history. The concierge is very helpful and knowledgeable, they gave me a personalised itinerary suggestions when I checked in, arranged taxis, and even made sure to check on my safety as I am a solo lady travelling in Portugal. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful retreat. It’s a perfect getaway for stressed out business travellers.
FForrestmThe approach to the hotel is uninspiring which makes your arrival in a modern manicured property all the more surprising. The hotel is well thought out, set up for a very chilled out time and service and facilities are excellent. We did not give a full 5 for one reason which for some could be a blocker. This hotel is very popular with young families, for very good reasons but if you want a quiet retreat keep this in mind If on the other hand you have young children it is a great place.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay in Evora and booked the MouraSuits Hotel.
The check-in was super friendly and we even allowed our room to be taken up more than indicated.
The hotel offers an extra parking space so we did not have any problems with the closing of our car.
We had a superior room for 2 people with view of the pool. The bathroom is beautifully equipped with a rain shower.
The pool was also pleasantly cold, but not too cold.
The breakfast was a dream. We could order our egg food without a surcharge, there were various fresh juices as well as cheese and sauce cut, baggage, etc.
We will come back in any case.
KKackenderFuchsWe were in Evora for a day and were very pleasantly welcomed.
The hoteller has really explained everything very well and friendly and has marked the main points on a map for us.
The room was well furnished and beautifully furnished. The bed may be a little soft and the room lightly bright but everything in all really nice !
Breakfast is also very pleasant.
