I booked a stay at Villa Ibarra to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The highlight of our stay was the stunning view of the Taal Volcano from our room. Waking up to such a breathtaking sight every morning was truly magical and added a special touch to our celebration. We were also delighted to encounter a lot of wild monkeys around the property. It was such a unique and exciting experience that made our stay even more memorable. The breakfast at Villa Ibarra was fantastic. There was a wide variety of delicious options, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. It was the perfect way to start our day, and we looked forward to it each morning. One of our favorite features was the cozy jacuzzi. It was the ideal place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The warm water and serene atmosphere made it a perfect spot for some quality time together. Overall, our stay at Villa Ibarra was exceptional. The combination of the stunning Taal Volcano view, the exciting wildlife encounters, the delicious breakfast, and the relaxing jacuzzi made for a perfect birthday celebration for my wife. We are grateful to the staff for their warm hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommend Villa Ibarra for anyone looking for a special and unforgettable getaway! We stayed in Porto Novo Anilao Dive & Leisure Resort for 7 days 6 nights. The rooms are very clean and the food in their restaurant is very good. The F&B staff are friendly and the food is yummy. We did 16 dives with them. Thanks very much to instructor Mervin, JM and their dive team. They are professional, very friendly and make you feel like a VIP. They took us to several beautiful dive sites which I never think Anilao have them. I strongly recommend this resort and I am sure I will come back again. Special thanks to Janet for the Lo Mei, JM for the Mei Hon and Halo Halo. Hope to see you all again very soon.

It was a great stay. Place was clean. Amenities were superb. Breakfast was ok - would help if it's not overcrowded during breakfast buffet; maybe add more tables outside?

Every single staff member we encountered was helpful and attentive. Lu at the restaurant was extremely hardworking and observant and looked after us well. Breakfast was tasty, and they varied it every day. They even offered free milk and cookies before bedtime for kids. Little animal farm and bonfire were wonderful for our little one. Heated pool was a plus factor and usable even on a rainy day. We had loads of fun! Thanks to everyone, and well done!

We booked a Superior Room via Trip.com, which mentioned an option between a king-size bed or two single beds. However, upon confirming directly with the hotel, we were informed that the room only comes with a king-size bed—there is no option for two singles. This was quite disappointing as the listing was misleading. We then requested to upgrade our room, but on the day of our check-in, we were told it was unavailable due to a leak from the rain. With limited options, we had to proceed with the original room and pay extra for an additional bed, which was unfortunately not very comfortable. Unfortunately, the beddings also had multiple tears, which affected the overall comfort. Additionally, the TV wasn’t working due to cable issues, and the other room we booked ended up not being used. We were told the front desk would be informed, but no clear update was given. Lastly, the WiFi signal was very weak—I had to leave the door open just to get a stable connection. While the staff were polite, we hope the hotel can improve on communication, listing accuracy, and room amenities for a better guest experience.

We had a great stay. My parents especially enjoyed the free activities provided, it added a nice touch to their experience. The staff were quick to respond and consistently helpful, which made our stay smoother and more comfortable. Although there are quite a lot of stairs, it’s worth noting that there’s an escalator available for seniors and persons with disabilities, which is a thoughtful addition. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, though most of the plates and mugs were made of hard plastic. If you’re mindful about using plastics in the microwave, I’d recommend bringing your own glassware. Cleanliness could use some improvement. I had to message them about it since my parents are quite particular and while they responded, there were still concerns..two of the beds had oil stains and I wasn’t sure if the linens had been replaced. It would’ve also been better if the glass near the pool and the sliding doors had been vacuumed and cleaned more thoroughly. Despite these minor issues, I truly appreciated the overall experience and would definitely recommend   to my friends. I just hope they continue to maintain and enhance their cleanliness standards moving forward.

Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The rooms were clean, and the staff were respectful and attentive. We were impressed with the amenities, especially the complimentary buffet breakfast—it was delicious and included in the room rate. To visit the chapel and recreation center, we used the hotel’s shuttle service, which was also free. The road to get there was a bit steep and intimidating, but the experienced shuttle drivers made us feel safe and comfortable. The heated swimming pool was another highlight—it’s free to use, and we spent most of our time there just relaxing. Overall, the experience was relaxing and well worth it.
