Aman is the best hotel in Luang Prabang. It is located in the center of the town. It is a 5-minute walk to the Foreigner Street Night Market. Aman's service is impeccable. Breakfast and dinner are all served at the hotel. The quality of the catering is online. I participated in the hotel's charity and Mekong River cruise. It costs extra but the price is acceptable. You can use the hotel's electric car to pick you up anywhere in the town. In short, Aman will take your vacation experience to a new level.
Based on google map, the lane to this hotel is wrong. So i had to walk a bit after my taxi dropped me off at the wrong location. The staff at reception, Wan and Lo (sorry for wrong spelling) are absolutely wonderful. Pleasant and polite especially the male staff. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and bathroom huge with beautiful floor tiles.
The only negative experience i had was at breakfast, when i asked a female staff which food had meat - i only take Halal or vegetarian food - and was told the spring rolls were vegetarian. When i bit into it, there was meat inside!! That was extremely upsetting for me!!
Suggestion- place labels at the serving dish to indicate vegetarian dishes or otherwise. There are many Europeans who are vegetarians too so it will be useful to have such labels.
Rooms should have a chair in it for those who want to do work at the tv counter.

I love everything about this hotel. I actually booked it at the very last minute as I had to cancelled the other hotel due to incorrect date. Room was so spacious, very clean, and the breakfast spread was not bad too. If you are vegetarian, you may ask them to make new ones if they have it. Pool was really great, staff was extremely helpful & friendly. Do not worry if the location is just a bit out of the centre, they have free shuttle services & pick up too. The spa massage was amazing too. And i love that they also provide free shuttle to train station or airport if you stay 2 nights. Do not hesitate to book this hotel!

This place is ain't and calm. The location is near a monk temple and 500 meters from the monk coming out about 530 am. So if you have that spiritual side and like the peace and quiet, stay here.
The patio lock isn't very secured and have to push it in to lock it.
The staff is very nice and helpful.
Lovely hotel directly at the river. Beautiful balcony for breakfast and restaurant food, another terrace directly at the river for relaxing and reading. Rooms are spacious and clean. Walls not too thick though. Stuff is super friendly and welcoming. Free airport/train station shuttle and shuttle to the city center.
Comfortable!!! Finally a bed worthy of the name. Very good welcome, fluent English. Very nice room with all the possible comforts, very recent and well built hotel. Small usual downside in Luang prabang, the beautiful pool, a little landlocked, has trouble heating, but the many deckchairs with umbrellas are welcoming. Second downside, the curtains are not blackout, really a shame at this price. For your information, a hotel receptionist told me to win 200 euros ðĨīðĨī

We had a wonderful stay at this hotelâperfect for families looking for comfort and convenience. The garden is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintainedâour kids loved running around while we relaxed in the serene atmosphere.
The location is great, just a few minutes from the town center, making it easy to explore local shops, markets, and restaurants. Despite being close to everything, the hotel still feels quiet and relaxing.
The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortableâclearly well taken care of. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and cleanliness.
The staff are amazingâwarm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. They made our stay even more memorable by going above and beyond for our family.
And the breakfast? Simply superb! A great variety of local and international options, fresh fruits, and delicious coffee or teaâs to start the day right.
Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a cozy, garden-side stay near town!

The treasure hotel encountered in Luang Prabang, the experience is full! In the few days of Luang Prabang's itinerary, the ** Ya Hotel is definitely the biggest surprise! From the moment of landing, I felt the warmth and convenience far beyond expectations. The hotel owner is a super nice Chinese handsome guy. He graduated from Lao National University and not only knows Lao language, but also knows local cultural customs. Before departure, I heard that the early morning delivery needs to prepare glutinous rice in advance. The boss carefully reminded us which street corner the best viewing point is, and also specially told us to keep quiet and not take pictures at will. Every day before going out to consult for food, drink and fun, he can always give local-level recommendations from the Lao hot pot stalls hidden in the alleys to the most authentic French bread in the night market, and even the bargaining skills are taught, and I feel that I have brought a âlive strategyâ around me. Hotel location is impeccable! The hotel is located in the center of the city, 5 minutes walk to the core section of the early morning delivery, you can immerse yourself in the millennium Buddhist tradition without getting up early. Breakfast options are particularly rich, 3 minutes walk to the restaurant on the main road, The open kitchen surrounded by bamboo forests is full of aromas. The basil onion pork with glutinous rice recommended by the boss is served on a bamboo plate. The meat is fragrant and mixed with grass and wood. The per capita is 15 yuan. If you want to experience French style, the bakery on the corner has just been launched with Lao black coffee, which is the locals' favorite breakfast combination. Fortunately, I met a few compatriots in Tianjin. I wanted to eat buns and fried dough sticks. The boss got it on a phone call. It was really nice.
The evening trip is contracted by the hotel's location advantage: walk to the Mekong River in 10 minutes, walk along the Mekong River, watch the silhouette of fishermen's nets gradually integrate into the sunset, and walk down to Mount Puxi, which takes 10 minutes to the foot of the mountain. The boss has long reminded us that the sunset of Mount Puxi is a must-experience romance in Luang Prabang. You can climb up on a stone road, and you can meet local couples holding bouquets and tourists holding cameras along the way. The wind blows and the incense of the mountain temple. When the top just caught up with the sunset, the Mekong River and the Nankang River at the foot of the intersection, the city's old French buildings and temple golden roofs were dyed warm orange, until the last ray of light disappeared, the lanterns under the mountain gradually lit up, and then reluctantly went back. From the hotel to the French street night market is the most convenient, every day after 18 o'clock, the lanterns on the pedestrian street are on, and when you stroll from the hotel just in time for the most lively night market, you can go back to your room to rest at any time when you are tired.
The hotel's newly renovated rooms are bright and comfortable, and the fresh French Lao style design is hidden in intimate details. During the day, the summer heat was dispersed in the pool, the omelet fragrance in the garden floated into the balcony with the wind, and came back from the sunset from Pushy Mountain in the evening, sitting on the terrace and drinking a glass of Lao beer, quietly in a daze, perfectly re-enacting the lazy rhythm of Luang Prabang. Whether it is after watching Busch in the morning and taking a shower, or after a tired night market, you can instantly find vitality. Staying here for a few days, I really feel what it means to âgoing to a foreign country into a daily lifeâ. The boss helped us solve the car rental episode in fluent Lao language, and recommended the itinerary in Chinese and parents. This trust in the language is too reassuring. If you want to experience Luang Prabang in depth watching monks walk barefoot through ancient streets in the morning light, chasing the sunset of Mount Puxi in the dusk, and shopping for handicrafts in the night market, it is definitely a choice for super cost-effective treasure!

Rich is just great! The night market starts right in front of the hotel.
Also, since it's hot during the day, I could go out in the morning, come back to the hotel in the afternoon to rest, go out again in the afternoon to drop off my shopping and other things, and then go out to the night market at night... it was very helpful for me.
There were many types of breakfast, and it was very luxurious and delicious. However, it took quite a while to be served, so please be careful if you are in a hurry.
The staff were fluent in English and very kind.
The room was stylish, but the air conditioning and outdoor unit in my room were very noisy and it interfered with my sleep, so if this could be improved, I would have no complaints.
The place is clean and close to tourist attractions. The room is not soundproof. The noise from the people staying in the next room is loud. If there are people playing in the pool, it is very loud. It is impossible to rest.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a long day. The location is really good. The facilities are impressive and well-maintained, making everything convenient and enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making me feel very welcome. Additionally, the laundry service was efficient and reliable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay. I will definitely be returning!
NNuytsiaFloribundaOur stay had a lot of high points and a lot of low points.
Starting with the high points, the grounds and room were incredible. Our experience at the spa was one of the best weâve had. The cocktails and Laos-style burger we had for lunch one day were phenomenal. The staff were charming and very accommodating.
However, there were a few aspects that were far below the experience expected of a 5 star hotel. First, cocktail service around the pool was abysmal. On almost every occasion we had to go searching for a staff member to take our order, and then the cocktails more often than not took more than half an hour to arrive. This is despite the fact that we seemed to be the only people ordering F&B at that time, i.e. they were not busy at all.
Second, the breakfast was a disappointment every day - we were told we could order eggs or noodles, and had to repeatedly press the staff to find out what type of eggs and noodles, and we only discovered on the last day that there was a menu with additional options. We ordered poached eggs on toast, and the eggs had not been drained of excess liquid, and the bread was entirely soaked through. An order of waffles took over an hour to come out - first it was delivered as a pancakes, and then they just forgot about it despite repeated follow ups. The âlocalâ Laos options lacked flavor - very little of the herbs and spice that makes Laos food great. I think this and the pool service issue are primarily the result of a lack of training and instruction for staff - they were clearly doing their best, but did not know what to do.
Third, the pool area needs a lot more spent on maintenance. The decking is cracking and falling apart. The mosaic tiles in the pool are falling apart, A LOT of the tiles are missing, and I got a very large laceration on my forearm from the sharp edge of a tile sticking out. If this pool were in a western jurisdiction, it would not meet health and safety standards.
Fourth, the gym was not worth visiting if you want to lift weights. Possibly the worst weights offering Iâve seen for a hotel of that price and with that much space.
We want to reiterate how great and enthusiastic the staff were. I think this is primarily a management oversight, training, and maintenance capex issue.
GGuest UserIt's okay for the price~ I liked the balcony.
The bathroom and toilet are separate.
It's not completely clean, and you have to take that into account because it's an old building. The location is a bit far from the night market, but you can walk there, and I rented a scooter, so it wasn't difficult to get around.

GGuest UserVery friendly and helpful staff. Everytime I asked them something, they were more than willing to help in anyway they could. The room was lovely and very reasonably priced. The only very minor downside was that breakfast was a little bit limited for someone with quite a lot of food allergies, but the staff could make adaptions to the menu to try and cater for these. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in Luang Prabang.
YyyfzhshLuang Prabang is a small town. The hotel is not far from the night market and is close to various attractions. It is convenient for reading alms in the morning and eating and shopping at night for massage. The room layout is simple and hygienic. You must take off your shoes when entering the lobby. If you like quiet, don't choose a room facing the street. , Western-style breakfast is simple and nutritious, and very cost-effective.

GGuest UserSpacious rooms with comfortable beds. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Breakfast includes a live station, a few warming trays, and three types of fruit. The pool area is pleasant and well-maintained. My only quibble is the Wi-Fi, which can be a bit weak. This place was really a steal for the price.
EEpijBoth good and not so goodâĶ.first the good: nice hotel, room was large and a great view of the river; pool is nice and the staff were generally friendly. The lady was superb as was one of the male front desk reception. The other male (worked the evenings more) never really paid attention to you as he had his head buried in his phone about 95% timeâĶnot necessarily unfriendly, but just didnât really care. They offer a free shuttle to and from the airport, but thereâs only one vehicle so it may conflict with the time you need it if someone else is using the service already.
The not so good: the location is quite far from the center where most of your time is spent. They do offer a drop off service, but it ends about 5pm-ish so if youâre out for the day and want to return to the Center for a meal then theyâll need to get a Tuk Tuk for you. We ended up renting a motorbike and always had to use TukTuks as we would come back and try to return later for dinner and drinks. Also the breakfastâĶthere is only one option: noodle soup and theyâll give you some fruit. It was okay, but when I paid for breakfast I thought there would at least be another option. Lastly, you can hear everything in the whole place. If other guests are loud (which we had a few), you can hear them quite clearly in your room. Overall, I would not stay again mainly for the location being a bit far from the center. While disappointing, the breakfast wasnât terrible, just limited.
Aayano810At first I was planning to stay for 4 nights, but I really liked it and extended it to a week! The room was clean and there was no resistance to putting things on the floor or walking barefoot. It is a very pleasant inn with cleaning up to corner ã .
What we liked the most was the staff at the inn. It is run by a Vietnamese girl. It is a cute person who is bright and can work. All the other staff were very kind and loved it.
Then, there are about ïž types of breakfast, and if you choose your favorite menu, it will be cooked immediately and served in a warm state. A different fruit is also a set every day! It was also a happy point to have a delicious breakfast every day. There is also a water server, which is helpful.
We also handle a wide range of buses, tuk-tuk reservations, motorcycle rentals, and tour reservations to airports and neighboring cities, and we were very grateful for your stay.
I feel like I have a home in Luang Prabang.
Also, we are talking with our husband and wife to go to Luang Prabang and stay! Thank you staff Zan!

ZZuoanniyingLocation: The hotel is at the end of the foreigner street, near the four-story building of the Internet celebrity coffee shop. The night market is at the door at night, and the morning market is at the back of the alley at the end of the hotel. The location is very lively and excellent. You can walk to any place in the old city in about 20 minutes.
Facilities: It is actually a B&B hotel transformed from an old villa with a public area. There is a place to park motorcycles, and there will be barbecue in the yard at night. Then there is local barbecue. Then there is also water for sale and bicycle rental. I feel that the boss should be Chinese, but the big brother on duty during the day at the front desk can speak English, but the front desk at night can't speak English, and can only communicate through a translator into Laotian.
Hygiene: The hygienic conditions are good. We stayed for three days and there was no cleaning in the middle, but we will give you replacement napkins and mineral water and some things you want. Materials, but to be honest, it is the level of a B&B hotel. Don't be too picky about this thing.
Environment: The environment is good, but if you like quiet, it's not good, because the night market will be very late, and the entrance of the night market will block the whole road, you will feel very depressed, although you can come in from the alley next door, but the experience is still not very good? Now the foreigner street of the night market will be closed during a specific time period, so there is no way to get back by transportation.
Service: Finally, let's talk about the service. The hotel itself does not provide any services except accommodation. If you want to book a car or rent a motorcycle, you can go to the small pavilion on the right side of the hotel entrance to find the big sister inside. He provides various services such as chartering, car rental, and motorcycle rental, and you can pay with Alipay, WeChat and credit cards. But remember to bargain. He quoted us 100,000 yuan per person for the car we went to the train station at the beginning, but in fact 50,000 yuan per person would be enough.
Summary:
If you like the hustle and bustle and don't have too high requirements for hygiene, then this place is your best choice, it is full of the atmosphere of local life. You can eat in the yard, I barbecue and chat with friends, you can also stroll in the night market to choose what you like, or go to the morning market and give alms in the morning. Go and see the life of this city in the early morning, but if you like quietness, then I suggest you consider other places, because this place is really noisy, and it is very noisy most of the time during the day. Because it is opposite the food court.
Ah, finally remind everyone that you must rent a motorcycle close to your hotel, otherwise every time you return the car, you have to walk back in the hot weather or call a car back, which is very inconvenient. This hotel is located in a closed street, even if you call a car, you have to walk a distance. To be honest, it is still very painful in the hot afternoon. Then when renting or chartering a car outside, you must remember to bargain. I found that Lao people still often like to quote high prices to Chinese people. Maybe they guess that we Chinese will bargain.
