Conveniently located next to walking shopping street, Macdonalds, Saizeriya, Muji, Loft and drug stores! Friendly staff who are always ready to help you. The breakfast everyday was so delicious and I got to enjoy it on a few days I was staying. I had a bicycle and they allowed me to park it on the 2nd floor which is the check-in lobby. The dormitory is quiet and everyone was respectful. There is a small kitchen with cutlery, utensils, a fridge, ice and water machine and microwave. I would come back to stay again!

I stayed for five days. The room was spacious and faced the sea. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was excellent. The pier is right across the street, and the JR and highway bus stations are right next door. You can walk to Kawaramachi in about 20 minutes. There's also an airport shuttle right outside the hotel, costing 1000 JPY per person and taking around 40 minutes to the airport. Everyone at the front desk provided excellent service, and the room cleaning was very meticulous. The concierge staff were also very polite. If I had to mention a downside, it would be that there are only two washing machines, but everything else was great. Highly recommended!

This is an absolutely lovely hotel. It's spotlessly clean, and the breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Although the room isn't huge, its clever layout ensures it never feels cramped. It's well-equipped with everything you need: a fridge, TV, separate shower and toilet, and even a bathtub. I stayed on the 12th floor, and the sunrise from my window in the morning was incredibly beautiful. I especially want to commend the staff. During my trip, I had a minor cycling accident and injured my arm. The front desk staff quickly helped me connect with a hospital equipped to treat foreign patients, and my injury was handled without a hitch. After returning to the hotel, I made sure to go back to the front desk to express my gratitude. The staff member was visibly happy and excited that their assistance had made such a positive difference for me. Witnessing their genuine joy deeply touched me. My heartfelt thanks once again to the front desk staff.

The location is super convenient! The airport bus drops you off right at Hyogomachi Station, and the hotel is just there. It's a 10-minute walk to Takamatsu Port and 7 minutes to Kotoden (Takamatsu-Kotohira Electric Railroad). Whether you're heading to the islands, or Kotohiragu Shrine, the stations are all within walking distance. For Ritsurin Garden, Aeon Mall, or the airport, there's a bus stop right outside the hotel. Hyogomachi shopping street is right downstairs, and Mitsukoshi department store is a 5-minute walk away. The room, like most in Japan, is small but fully equipped. You can even open a 28-inch suitcase at the foot of the bed. Each floor has free ice and water dispensers. Dining and shopping options are abundant near the hotel. The only downside is that rooms aren't cleaned during stays of up to three days; only towels are replaced and trash is collected. I actually stayed for four days and my room wasn't cleaned once.

This hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of Takamatsu's downtown shopping district, making it super easy to get around. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and the airport shuttle bus stops just a 5-minute walk away. The rooms are quite spacious and well-equipped, and it's a nice touch that they offer complimentary coffee and tea bags in the lobby. Really great!

This 400-year-old onsen ryokan is a bit of a mixed bag. The location is definitely superb, and all drinks in the mini-bar are complimentary. Taking the path behind the ryokan to Konpira-san offers a unique and scenic experience, and the complimentary hiking poles at the entrance are a nice touch. However, I have to complain about the room facilities. The curtains were too sheer, making the entire room very bright in the morning. It seemed like they should have been blackout curtains, but they were faulty and couldn't be pulled down. After a long journey, I was hoping to get some good rest, but the bright curtains made it impossible – instead of waking up with the roosters, I woke up with the light! The food portions were very small, and there wasn't much variety. People with a big appetite would definitely not be full, and even those with a smaller appetite might struggle. Personally, I felt the freshness of the food was a bit lacking, and the kitchen's exhaust system was poor, as I could smell cooking fumes in the room.

Miss Yamada at the front desk was especially nice; she explained everything clearly and even helped us book a car. Mr. Kurokawa at the restaurant also provided excellent service. The hotel's location is great, and the facilities are new and very comfortable. [happy]

Although the hotel is a bit historical, it is comfortable and spacious. The corridor is like a museum with many cultural relics for viewing. This time I booked a Japanese-style room with a bath. The tatami was very comfortable, the bath was also very nice, dinner was traditional Japanese food with beautiful menu paper, and it was also a separate room.

When booking this hotel, you must pay attention to the huge price difference at different times. Usually, a 14 square meter room is only 300 or 400 yuan, but I didn't pay attention when booking it, and it was nearly 1500 yuan a night. I booked two nights, and my heart was bleeding. I could accept it if it doubled or doubled, but it turned out that it quadrupled on weekends. I am really stupid. The toilet in this bathroom is so small that it is so messy when taking a ****. Two people can't walk in the room at the same time. The fan of the dryer downstairs is still back-blowing, and they don't know it at all! The clothes I dried were all lint, and they flew all over the place when I opened the door. If you want to dry them, you must use the drying function of the other two all-in-one machines. After choosing to dry, you can wait for a while. In general, I am the only one who is wronged by this hotel for 1500 yuan, right?

GGuest UserI highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a quiet hot spring experience away from crowds. It is located a bit remotely from the city and surrounded by nature, which I absolutely love! Driving here is quite accessible. Since I planned to stay for more than one day, they provided a free pickup from the Kotohira JR Station, which is also very convenient. All the staff members are friendly and helpful. This low-density hotel has around 26 rooms, so it sells out very quickly, especially during peak season. There is a small gift shop, but I found everything I needed there. The room met my expectations, offering enough space with an outdoor deck and a private hot spring tub. I could hop into the hot spring tub anytime. If in the summer, I would be sitting on the outdoor deck to take in the views of the woods and nature, listening to the birds sing. The lotion provided is of very good quality; I use it every time I finish in the hot spring, as it smooths my skin. I should check if the gift shop sells it. The minibar is well-stocked with coffee and tea, and a 2-liter bottle of water was provided, along with a filtered water tap in the washroom. The public hot spring is spacious, allowing for plenty of privacy. One thing I wasn't sure about was that they provided us with a twin bed room. Since I was there with my husband, we expected a double bed room. We didn’t check with them about it because we decided to use the futon bed instead, which was surprisingly comfortable. I ended up sleeping even deeper than on a regular bed.  We were also confused about the futon bed setup requiring an extra charge, guess it was considered an extra bed. However, they arranged it for us without charging extra, which we really appreciated!  The dining experience was fantastic as well. There are different sessions in the restaurant, and they assign different tables for each meal, making it feel like dining in various restaurants. The service was very professional, with the staff explaining each dish to us. Even though one server covered two tables, I felt like they were serving us privately and gave us enough personal time. The restaurant closes after breakfast and before dinner, which gives you a great opportunity to explore the area during lunchtime. There are also delicious udon restaurants nearby. Just a heads up, though—I didn’t notice any room service available, so if you want snacks in your room, it’s a good idea to prepare your own. I am looking forward to staying in their other branches!

DDaily happyDuring my recent trip to Japan, I had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that also serves as a wedding venue — and from the moment I arrived, the level of service was simply impeccable. The staff were not only gracious and professional, but also went out of their way to assist me at every turn, despite my lack of Japanese language skills. Their warm hospitality left a lasting impression and made me feel truly welcomed and cared for. Though the room was compact, it was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully arranged. As a solo traveler, I found the space more than sufficient — cozy, comfortable, and a fantastic value for the price. It truly struck the perfect balance between affordability and quality. A special mention goes to the amenities: the hotel provides a well-stocked amenity station at the reception, where guests can freely pick up whatever they need — a detail that reflects the hotel’s attention to guest convenience. While the location is a little removed from the city center, this wasn’t an issue at all for me, as I had a rental car. The added bonus? Free parking on-site, which made my stay even more convenient and budget-friendly. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. With its blend of elegant ambiance, exceptional service, and thoughtful touches, it became a peaceful and comfortable base for my journey — one I would gladly return to and wholeheartedly recommend to fellow travelers.

SSpencerCPSIt's about a 10-minute drive from the city center and Angel Road. Although I arrived late, it was really beautiful to see the sunset near the place I arrived! Local ingredients are served for dinner, which is different from the hotel buffet dinners I have had in the past. I recommend you try it!

XXinqingyiranThe location is very good. It's just a few steps away from Takamatsu Station (directly connected to the airport) and Takamatsu Port. It's very convenient to go island hopping every day. It's not far from Ritsurin Garden. It's just past the commercial street. Takamatsu is beautiful and peaceful. The Japanese people are very friendly.

JjhjqOur stay was incredibly satisfying! Firstly, the hotel's location is superb. It's right opposite Takamatsu Central Park, and the airport shuttle bus has a stop there, so it's just a short walk across the road to the hotel. When heading back to the airport, the shuttle stop is on the other side of the road, with the timetable clearly posted, allowing you to choose your departure time based on your flight. A single ticket costs 900 yen. The hotel is also just 1.1 km from Ritsurin Garden and 1.2 km from Takamatsu Port. My husband and I enjoy walking, so we walked to both places, which only took about 10 minutes (if you prefer public transport, the bus stop is the same as the airport shuttle stop, which is very convenient). Kawaramachi is also only about 500 meters from the hotel, with plenty of restaurants, drugstores, and convenience stores, making it very accessible. Secondly, the hotel's breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious. It offered Udon noodles, tempura, salmon, mackerel, natto, and more. We were staying for four consecutive nights and were worried about getting tired of the hotel breakfast, so we initially booked without it. However, after trying it on the first day, we were absolutely blown away and immediately added breakfast for the remaining three days. It turned out we didn't get tired of it at all; it was just too good! The Udon noodles, in particular, were wonderfully chewy, and the broth was delicious. I always finished both the noodles and the soup. Finally, the hotel offers excellent added value. There's a hot spring on the top floor (11th floor). After a day of sightseeing, a soak in the hot spring was perfect for unwinding and relieving fatigue – absolutely wonderful! There's really no need to book a room with a private bath. After your soak, you can enjoy a free popsicle, with several flavors to choose from. Additionally, the hotel offers free lactic acid drinks from 5 PM to 10 PM daily, also on the 11th floor. And from 9:30 PM to 11 PM, there's free ramen in the breakfast restaurant on the first floor.

GGuest UserThis 2 beds room is quite large for Japan's standard. The hotel is a bit dated to my preference but it has everything you need. It has an air-conditioning installed (not centralized one). So you can choose the temperature as you wish, not having to rely on the hotel's control. Of course, it depends on which time of year you are visiting as well. Limited breakfast selection but again, if you can eat anything, you'll be fine. I think they offer parking spaces, right across the hotel. Convenient stores are walkable distance.
