Check-in was a breeze. We were given room above the trees and had a great view of the beach. Clean rooms and sufficient toiletries. Breakfast was great with the choice of local and international food. Liked the fresh breads, cakes and juices too. Staff hospitality were nice and left something to remenber. The pool size is great. Booking a transport to Kuta was easy and the service is punctual. Security at the entrance and the beach gives us the confidence. Liked the tips given to us about wild animals outside the hotel and which area to avoid. Close proximity to Mandalika Circuit is a plus and the direct highway route to the airport means we do not need to rush for our flight. Had a nice stay and would be great to return.

We were looking for a nice stay for 3 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The beach is black sand with a lot of rock at the low tide line so that is a consideration if you want to go in the water. I waded a bit at high tide, and there is a fair bit surf action, but most of my time was spent at poolside. It is in the middle of nowhere so if you want to go to town, it will require a taxi or some form of transport as Mataram is 30 minutes by car. I was not interested in renting a motorbike so taxi it was. The food and staff were excellent and most staff were very good in English. Overall, 5 star rating from me

Even though it is located in the west side of island, I could stay peacefully. Breakfast is 150K per person. I recommend to include it when you book. No need to move and find sunset place since just in front of resort was fantastic spot for sunset. Strong recommend.

Services are good : ali, nopi, borhan, weda, nader and guard sumadi, pool is nice, areaa are well kept and clean. Breakfast less choices but still acceptable. Only thing there is no netflix because I have stayed in the other hotel next to the resort that provided netflix. Overall good and definately will come back again soon.

What can we say about this resort? The first word that comes to mind is 'outstanding'. The location, right on the beach, is awesome. Staff are super friendly, efficient, and respectful. Breakfast had so many options, from Western to Indonesian favourites. Sunsets were mind-blowing. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was huge. Super comfortable bed and waking up to the sound of the waves lapping on the beach each morning truly had us in relaxed holiday mode every day. If you are after a relaxing, quiet location with excellent amenities, this is the place for you. If you are after some local food, head 5mins south down the beach to Warung K or Verve Beach Club.

I found out why it was said to be the best accommodation in Gili. First of all, I really liked it from the moment I first entered the accommodation because it felt like an eco-friendly accommodation with a distinct Balinese feel. The staff were also very friendly. I took off my clothes, threw them away, went out for a while, and came back around evening. They drew curtains on all four sides of the bed to create a nice atmosphere, and neatly folded the clothes I threw away. I was impressed by the delicate details. The road from the entrance to the reception was not close, so it was difficult to carry my luggage, but the staff carried it for me. They even brought me a cool wet towel and a welcome drink! In other places, the welcome drink is usually sugar cane..? ginger..? They gave me a drink that felt like it, Is this the dragon and banana smoothie? He gave me a! I think it was the most delicious drink I had when I came to Bali! In addition to drinks, we also prepared two types of healthy snacks. There are two swimming pools in the resort. It was great that you could rent bicycles for free :) I travel abroad very often. The Pondok Santi accommodation was so amazing. First of all, the bathroom, including the shower, was outside! I was surprised because it felt like I was really in nature. If you call the reception to reserve a massage, you can receive it at the outdoor pavilion or in your own room during that time. If you say you want to have it in your room, they bring a massage bed and other things and give you a massage! The best part of all was breakfast! Unlike other places, you select the breakfast menu when checking in and decide where to eat by choosing one of three places: bar/ocean/room. The menu was generally delicious. It's different from other ocean view breakfasts because it's not just a simple ocean view, it's just eating on the beach. Attach photos If you visit Gili, I highly recommend you go!

Location was absolutely fabulous. Having breakfast with the beautiful ocean in the background was the best. Rooms very spacious and clean. Staff absolutely fantastic. Only suggestion I have is put some stairs in back pool so you can get in and out more easily! Great stay!

It was the best nearest beach hotel. All great amenities. I love the part that cycle goes till our room. Beautiful location. Amazing bathrooms. Just one thing, that the swimming pool water was a lot salty. Otherwise all great.

The Ombak Sunset is one of those classic Indonesian resort, ethnic and spacious. The location is perfect for those looking for a place that's close to the sunset view at Trawangan. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Overall, a good option to stay, especially with family/large travel group.

I did sleep well as the blinds are good and air con can easily be adjusted. Water is provided but really they could give more than one bottle so you don’t have to request more. I booked this place because reviews said breakfast was amazing but I honestly didn’t think it was that special. You pick a main off a menu & then there is a buffet of pastries (which were very good for hotel pastries), fruit & juice. Coffee is additional which for the price really should be included. Maybe better depending on what you order from the menu. Location is the far side from the port but every resort still turns into a party venue playing loud music from 4pm. Can we not just sit and watch the sunset listening to the waves? Beach on this side has a lot of coral/rocks so swimming in the ocean you need water shoes.

The AC worked well and didn't turn off when you leave the room, which can be nice. The shower pressure was weak, which was annoying, to be honest. Bed was comfortable and clean. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, and they did seem to be proactive in maintaining the property in general. For the price I paid, it's pretty good value for money.
