We stayed one night prior to joining a cruise ship. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, looked modern and was clean.
The location is great. Just cross over and go through the park and it's a short walk to cafes, restaurants and bars. The pedestrian shopping area as well as shopping centres are easy walking distance.

Well, the service at the hotel was excellent too. The hotel staff were always very friendly and helpful, they were always willing to answer my questions and provide useful advice. Also, the breakfast provided by the hotel was very delicious, varied and had different choices every day. The service at the restaurant is also very good, and the staff is always very thoughtful and welcoming.
The only downside is that the hotel is slightly more expensive, but I think the price is still very reasonable given the location and quality of service of the hotel. In short, I really like this hotel and I would definitely choose to stay again if I travel to this city again.

A ferry can be taken from Keyhaven to Hurst Castle or if you are feeling energetic you can walk along the shingle bank; great for bird watchers who would enjoy the walk along the salt pans heading to Lymington. Or 10mins drive to Lymington with its Georgian architecture, pretty quay, individual shops and the bustling Saturday market. Just 15/20 mins drive from the New Forest, Beaulieu, Christchurch and only 35mins from Bournemouth with its long golden beautiful sandy beach. Charming little B&B in nice house. Continental breakfast only, no great variety but good. Rooms were nice and clean. It's in a residential area, 15-20 minutes walk to shops, restaurants etc.

I like the availability of electric kettle as my husband always drink hot water. The room is clean and mattress is not too soft and comfortable sleeping bed is very nice🙏

Despite not using the on site facilities as much, the staff were lovely, friendly & helpful at any hour.
The room was spotlessly clean, and had decent basic amenities, but the room I stayed in was starting to look a little tired.
Decent value for money however, especially for the time of the year & a weekend.

AAnonymous UserGood location. The room is very basic. Had a triple bunk bed, lower bed was fine, but upper bunk was not clean and had bed bugs. Avoid room with bunk bed. The cards for the door kept not working and I had to go to the reception on multiple occasions to reprogram it. Parking is rather expensive (£12 a day) and I was not told that it is chargeable when registering the plate number at the reception at first.
It was very noisy at night, so don't expect any good sleep if you need to have a window even slightly open at night. I could see rats around the hotel.
I will not be back at Ibis budget.

GGuest UserBreakfast at the weekend doesn't start until 8.00am. We were playing a Pickleball Tournament on their Acrylic tennis courts and needed to digest our food before running around! The hot items weren't all out which was irritating. Bacon, sausages and eggs were missing. As soon as the eggs arrived they were gone because everyone was queuing. If it says breakfast starts at 8.00, then it should all be available on time! Pools are great, (one specifically for children and one for adults. Sporting facility was excellent. Free parking for hotel guests.
Bedroom was very clean and had everything one needed. No air con, but fan in cupboard. Magnifying mirror, iron & board, hairdryer.
I had to stay at the hotel to continue playing my tournament, but wanted to have a last swim to ease my muscles before driving home in a terrible heatwave. They said check out had been at 11.00am and I would have to pay £10! I thought that was rather steep so declined. There was hardly anyone in the pool and a small kind gesture after paying for 2 nights would have lifted my spirits and given a better impression. The pool was also only open from 8.00am. Far too late if people want a swim before breakfast.
Dogs seem to be allowed at the hotel in the bedrooms. 4 yapping dogs in one room is a bit much. Awful for the cleaners and I put the TV on to mask the noise!
Drinks and food quite expensive. Great Indian in the village!
It was great though being able to stay at the actual venue for the tournament. Cheaper through Trip com than the Tournament offer rate!
