The hotel location is very good; I can even walk back to the hotel from Regent Street. However, this hotel has no air conditioning, which I was aware of before checking in. I thought the British weather would be acceptable with the window open, so it wasn't a problem. But the biggest issue is that when I opened the window, the pub downstairs was very noisy. Closing the window made it stuffy and hot. In the end, I called the staff, but they couldn't do anything about the pub located at the hotel. (P.S. I stayed on the second floor and had requested a quiet room in advance.)

The room is located inside the airport, connected to it, and it's a 10-minute walk to Terminal 4, making it a good choice for early morning and late night flights. The Crowne Plaza is right next door; you enter through the same main gate, with one hotel on the left and the other on the right, sharing a few elevators. It seems there's no laundry service; I asked the front desk via the room phone, and they didn't know. The breakfast is simple, English-style, and honestly not very tasty. The room is quite small but very clean. You need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers.

The location is not easy to get to and no signs was available. The room was clean but outdated deco. The bedside USB sockets does not work, we have to charge our phones at the desk. The handwashing liquid, shampoo and conditioner were fixed too high and inconvenient location. The shower water pressure was too low. The breakfast was the worse experience I ever had in a Hotel. Very limited types of food available and ran out so quickly as soon as many guests but little food. Only one staff on duty for topping up food and one staff to clean tables. There were not enough tables and seats available. It was complete and utter chaos. A guest accidentally spilled a cup of porridge into another customer but there were no napkins to clean it up. I never seen such chaos. I would not recommend this hotel and never go again.

the room was a good size for one person. the ceiling was rather low, especially in the bathtub where one has to stand inside to take showers. even for me and i’m a small person (165cm/5’4). overall bathtub/shower arrangement was awkward. with only narrow glass partition, water would go everywhere. the water pressure was strong, so that’s a silver lining. appreciated how fluffy and comfy the bathrobe was. the linens felt crisp clean and most of other stuff in the room. but the teaspoons were dirty. the breakfast was okay. the staffs were nice. the location was good. there is a bus stop very close, hammersmith station is only 25 min on foot, a good shawarma place was nearby, and right next to it there’s sainsbury local. the neighborhood felt safe, which was one of the most important conditions i was looking for. final thought: mixed. most parts were okay, some not.

Comfortable, safe, and well-located – a great stay in Croydon We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Croydon during a recent trip to London, and it turned out to be a really solid choice. The location is quite convenient, a 10-minute walk from Croydon station and the area itself felt lively, with lots of food options and shops around. We were two female travellers and felt quite safe exploring the neighbourhood. The hotel itself was well-maintained. Our room was comfortable and quiet, with everything we needed for a short stay. The included breakfast was a nice bonus, there were several good options to choose from, and the staff in the dining area were particularly friendly and attentive, especially during the busy morning rush. Overall, it was a well-rounded experience: clean rooms, a decent breakfast, kind staff, and a location that made getting around pretty easy. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Excellent location: The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the subway station, and a bus stop is right around the corner, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. There's also a small park nearby, perfect for a pleasant stroll, and the adjacent food street offers a variety of international cuisines, so you'll never get bored trying different dishes every day. • Comfortable room: My room was spacious, bright, and warmly decorated. The large, soft bed with skin-friendly bedding ensured a super good night's sleep. The room was well-equipped with amenities; the air conditioning heated and cooled quickly, there was a good selection of TV channels, and an electric kettle was also provided.

This hotel is located at Terminal 4 of Heathrow Airport, and there's a free train directly to it after you land. Self-check-in is super convenient, and the front desk staff are always there to help if you need them. There's a Costa next to the front desk that offers light meals. The room was spacious, quiet, and clean, with a shower and a bathtub, which was simple and roomy. They provided an electric kettle, instant coffee, and tea bags free of charge. The only minor disappointment was the lack of disposable slippers and toiletries. Despite being at the airport, it was genuinely quiet. Highly recommended for guests with late arrivals or early departures. The sofa in the room can be converted into a small bed, and housekeeping thoughtfully prepared it with sheets, a duvet, and a pillow, making it perfect for families with children.

We booked to stay at the hotel with it being the sub brand of Sheraton hotels. The location was fairly central to the show we were going to see in London. On our way we contacted the hotel to see if an earlier check in would be possible and was told that they would try their best to accommodate. On arrival we was told that check in was 3pm and no earlier so we opted to drop our bags off and come back later. The twin room we booked we were given however the floor was wet on arrival, we assumed this was due to it having been mopped so dried it and got on with our day. Later on the room floor was wet again and when stood on made a squelching sound so a leak was apparent. We informed reception who was going to look into this while we went out. On arrival back to the hotel the floor was still wet to on contacting reception again we were moved to a different room. The room was adequately clean but not pristine as there was a lot of dust in the bedroom area and a lot of mould in the bathroom around the shower area. At the point of discovering this it was almost midnight so we chose to just get on with the stay as housekeeping would have gone home for the evening so nothing would be done and we didn’t want to move rooms again. Once we got into bed we found the bedding quality to be subpar with the sheets being really thin and the duvet and pillows feeling to be of cheap synthetic quality. We really didn’t sleep well. For the inconvenience of the room change we was given a later check out of 12 instead of 11.

Hotel is in a very good location. 5 mins walk to Tottenham Court Road station and just a few bus/tube stops to the major attractions. Offers direct connection to Heathrow via the Elizabeth line as well. However the room was tiny and the hotel does not provide bottled water, bathroom slippers, and dental kits. There was no minibar in the room as well. The room is decently clean but the sheets may not have been washed properly as there are still hairs on them. Room can be quite stuffy during the summer as there is no AC, but there is an electric fan provided and windows can be opened for ventilation. Breakfast was average, just a regular English style breakfast, buffet style. There isn’t any coffee machine, only normal coffee/tea from kettles and powdered hot chocolate sachets. Just don’t expect anything luxury from this hotel.

GGuest UserWe're a family of 4 with 2 young children and booked the studio. But when we arrived, we were told that the room had no electricity and so split us into 2 rooms instead. While the rooms were generally clean, most of the bath towels had brown patches or old blood stains on them which was quite gross. 1 room that we were assigned to also had a weird fishy smell at the stove area. The hotel is about 7 min walk from Aldgate East tube station and is located on quiet street. This is not a very pleasant area, and there were always shady characters around the tube station, which made us feel uncomfortable, so we tried not to stay out too late. Staff were friendly and accommodating but they appeared short staffed during check in / check out timings. Only 2 staff on duty, so there is a bit of a wait if you need their help at these times.

GGuest UserBerjaya Eden is very near to Queensway and Bayswater station. You'll need to carry your luggage up some stairs, but it's manageable. Alternatively drag your luggage for about 20 minutes to/from Paddington station. Hotel is in a student and touristy area near to Kensington and Hyde Parks. You can walk to Portobello street (Notting Hill movie) and even Holland Park. Rooms are serviced by an old elevator which can accommodate 2 persons with luggage. Checking in was easy and you have to pay a refundable £50 deposit. The manager helped us with our heavy luggage when he saw us approaching the hotel entrance. Our original room was located quite a distance from the lift. He gave us a room near the lift without our asking. We didn't get to thank him as he had some matter to attend to. Room was clean with comfortable bed. A tower type fan provided as there's no aircon. Won't be adequate during the summer months. Shower area was good enough for us but larger guests will find it crammed. Hot water was instantaneous and easily controlled. Buffet breakfast starts from 8am and it's Malaysian and Continental. The restaurant is called Med (Mat) Salleh and run by two Malaysian ladies from Ipoh. The Malaysian breakfast was good especially the fried chicken wings. You get all the 3 parts of the wing instead of just the drumlet served elsewhere. Yummy! Restaurant is popular with Malaysian tourists and government/business persons. Malaysian Royalty have even visited Med Salleh restaurant. There are many restaurants, cafes, pubs and supermarkets near the hotel. You won't go hungry except your wallet will be lighter if your currency is much lower than the British Pound. Checking out was just as easy and the deposit refunded to your credit card on the same day. You can also leave your luggage if you still have time before catching the train to Heathrow or elsewhere. You can catch the train to Heathrow from Paddington via Elizabeth Line or the TFL Line. Elizabeth Line cost more but is more comfortable, less stops and with enough space for your luggage.

GGuest UserI am satisfied with the location and the modern environment of the hotel itself (not the unreasonable tiny space of a standard double room - a pot 8sqm double room), but this is the worst hotel experience my family and I have ever had. My mother is an old lady who is almost 70 years old. She fell down at the hotel entrance on the day we checked in. We noticed that the ground at the hotel entrance was designed with a ramp to facilitate access for disabled people who need to use wheelchairs, but there was a small gap and height difference between the entrance and the ramp, which caused my mother to fall very badly. We booked the pot 8sqm double room for 4 nights in this hotel, the space was really incredibly small. The only thing I could thought of was to ask the hotel whether they could upgrade us to a slightly larger room to accommodate an injured elderly person, and the hotel catered our needs. The Front Office and Operations Manager Rax explained that due to the design of the hotel, the small rooms are on the floors above the ground, whilst the large rooms are in the basement of the hotel, so the only room we can move to is located in the basement of the hote, and we could only be able to move on the second day of our stayl. Although this statement is not very reasonable, the situation in the basement is acceptable. The second unpleasant and terrifying experience was that I was taking a shower in the bathroom in the room while my mother was having coffee in the hotel lobby at night, and there was no one else in the room except me. While I was showering, the lights in the bathroom suddenly went out completely, while the water was still running normally. This was definitely the most horrible hotel experience ever. I was so flustered, trying so hard to find the water faucet in the dark and turn it off. Once I opened the glass door of the shower room, the lights came back on. I hurriedly finished my shower and went to the hotel front desk, I saw Rax and reported this issue to him. From his reaction to me when he knew about this, I didn't feel that he had any empathy or sympathy for the terrible thing I had gone through. He explained that the hotel had a new motion sensor that would cause the lights in the room to turn off if there was no movement in the room. He even argued with me that it wasn't a big deal that the light went out during the shower. I suggested that he could explain this new feature of their hotel to guests when they check in, so that if guests encounter a similar situation, at least they will feel less panicked. He told me that even if he knew it in advance, he would not feel better. I was really amazed by the responses as a Front Office and Operations Manager. On the third day of our stay, when I was putting on makeup in the room and getting ready to go out, the alarm suddenly sounded. When we were trying to calm down from the unpleasant experiences we had encountered in just two days, suddenly these things that made us irritable and uneasy happened again, which really drive us crazy. I then met the Front Office Supervisor Asher at the lobby, he tried to understand our experiences patiently, and gave apologies on behalf of the hotel. He offered us free breakfast on the forth day morning which we did not ask for. Asher also talked to me sincerely, and that he would talk to the General Manager of the hotel about our case, and let the GM to have a talk with us too. I think this is the kind of attitude and crisis handling method a hotel employee should have. Finally I want to say that although my family and I have been a member of the Marriott group for many years, we will no longer stay in any of their hotels and any type of accommodation.

BBehekEverything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

GGexing~tianxiaThe rooms are pristine and, despite the hotel being open for just a year, there was no unpleasant dampness or strange smell from the water. The service was also excellent. It appears the hotel uses a water softening system, as my hair felt incredibly smooth after washing. The complimentary bottled water is also a custom-branded mineral water, which adds a touch of sophistication. While not in the city centre, the hotel boasts excellent transport links. It's particularly well-served by buses; route 55 goes directly to Oxford Street, and route 205 takes you to King's Cross Station (convenient for trains to Cambridge and other cities). It's incredibly easy to get around from here – just remember to check the bus direction! When returning to the hotel, it's actually closer to alight at the bus stop after Old Street and walk from there. Overall, this hotel offers fantastic value for money. Perhaps because it's a newly opened hotel still in its introductory phase, securing an Executive Room in London for just over 2000 RMB is genuinely a great deal.
