Fantastic location just 10 minutes walking distance from Luxor temple. The hotel has beautiful gardens that lead down to the Nile. Choose a Nile view room and you can see across to the Valley of the Kings and the balloon flights early each morning. Excellent service especially from Semon and the reception staff. Good choice at breakfast and 3 restaurants. The outdoor pool is on a pontoon floating on the Nile. All in all excellent.
Overall, it was a good stay. Reception was quick to address initial issues around cleanliness of my room, and they made up for it by upgrading me. Room service was great, restaurants and breakfast also very good. Location is ideal, you can take a walk on the Nile at sunset and the garden is absolutely stunning. I do think parts of the hotel need upgrading, the carpets were looking a bit rough in parts of my room, the hairdryers were seriously old, headboard had marks and scuffs on it etc., I definitely expected a bit more for a 5 star hotel.
The tour attendant at the hotel, Abdul, is a complete fraud. He sold us a Luxor tour for 55 dollars. When we got in the taxi, we saw that it was not a tour but just a transport. And the air conditioning of the vehicle was not working, can you imagine, it was 50 degrees inside the vehicle. They said that this was a sudden malfunction, but this is not true. The air conditioning was broken from the beginning. Even if it was true, they did not inform us that the air conditioning was not working. We asked them to compensate for this, they could have at least given us a small refund, but this time Abdul lied to us and said that we had underpaid him in the first place. This is a big lie because we said we would pay in dollars and he showed us the total payment on the calculator. So there is no way we have underpaid. Definitely do not buy a tour from the tour attendant at this hotel, Abdul. We are currently traveling in a taxi at 50 degrees!!!
The room is fine, bathroom needs to be cleaner, main staff all very good. except housekeeping & concierge staff, they purposely setup to get & wait for tips. I had just checkin the room. They didn’t replenish the complimentary water & some towels & tissues. I ask housekeeping to bring, i opened the door for him, I was on the phone to a client, housekeeping person interrupted me to tell me they’ve finished placing them in the bathroom & stood there waiting for a tip.
It’s very annoying, I didn’t exists poor attitude from hotel staff, of course, I complained to the manager. They handled the situation. Yet this ought never to even occur.
Every service staff is very nice, but it is really not recommended to live in the West Bank. The transportation here is very inconvenient. This homestay is in a desolate village. I was very scared on the way to the taxi. There was nothing around. I wanted to take a taxi to the port to take a boat, but no one took the order. I had to walk out. Many local villagers asked me along the way, but I didn't dare to talk to them. It was obviously different to take a boat to the East Bank. It was also very inconvenient to take a taxi back after the sun set at 5 o'clock. Many drivers were unwilling to cross the bridge and asked for a very high price. It is really not recommended to live in the West Bank. You need to go back very early, but in fact, the Nile River in Luxor is very lively at 11 o'clock at night
This place makes a nice stay. It has its own zoo which is pretty cool. Sunset views by the pool are great. Great amenities. Service is a little slow. Pool is nice and massive. Few different restaurants at the property. Overall it’s a decent stay.
Good Location. Clean and Comfortable. Lying on the sun-bathing chair at night to see the stars there is really cozy. Need to be aware that the shower facilities is just soso, the water pressure is not strong enough
The hotel is located on the banks of the Nile. The room has a small balcony overlooking the Nile. The bathroom is spacious and the room is neither too big nor too small. The lobby is quite grand, with an outdoor swimming pool and a waterfront terrace. The breakfast is quite rich, but the sausages are inferior. Overall, the hotel is cost-effective and worth recommending.
The hotel is a large, stand-alone white building near the Nile River in Luxor. It's in a great location, not far from Karnak Temple. Downstairs is a small supermarket frequented by locals, and the prices aren't too high. A chocolate croissant costs 15 Egyptian pounds, and a 1.5L bottle of Nestle water is 9 Egyptian pounds, making it a great place to grab a bite to eat.
The room was spacious. The bedsheets weren't exactly new and a bit pilled, but otherwise clean. When I first checked in, I was given the last room in 501, but I moved to 510, which is a bit less remote. The air conditioner was a bit old and noisy, but it was manageable with earplugs.
There were two bottles of water in the room, but no disposable slippers, toothbrushes, or water bottles. The shampoo and shower gel came in small bottles without foil seals, suggesting they weren't replaced every time the room was cleaned. There was also some shampoo residue on the surface of the bottles. The hot water had good pressure, and it was hot at night and lukewarm in the morning. On the morning of August 1, 2025, there was loud construction noise across from my room starting at around 5 or 6 AM. The hotel's soundproofing isn't particularly good, and it can be quite noisy and waking people up. Travelers arriving soon should be aware of this.
The hotel front desk offers free luggage storage, which is perfect for those heading to the Valley of the Kings that morning and then returning to the hotel before leaving Luxor. I missed the 2:35 PM go bus and had to take the 7:35 PM bus to Hurghada. I spent a few hours in the hotel lobby's sofa area. I felt the overall service quality was quite high, and the staff's attitude and manners were impeccable.
Overall, this hotel is a good choice for the price in Luxor. There are some minor details that aren't quite right, but I didn't encounter any major issues. I often travel alone, so I always bring my own disposable face towels, toothbrush, small toiletries, and Crocs. I recommend everyone traveling to Egypt to bring these items.

SSkee82Great Location on the more quiet side of Luxor, The West Bank with a 2 min walk to the ferry crossing point.
Only real issue was the dogs that reside outside had a barking match at 4am on night.
Stayed for 2 nights, as it was Low season (start of summer) There was only one other guest in the hotel so I had the place to myself inc the swimming pool which was clean and refreshing to use after a day trekking around the local sights.
The breakfast wasn’t great but understandable as they couldn’t do their full spread as there wasn’t enough guests to accommodate but it was adequate enough with Egg’s, bread, fruit with coffee and tea, I didnt get to check the rooftop restaurant as i didn’t want them to open due to its quietness,
They did accommodate me with a beer on arrival and later by the pool. No Wifi in room but great by the pool area.
Also the place a pretty dusty but everywhere in Egypt virtually was so this was not a problem, although the room was very clean with great air conditioning and view of the Nile.
Would certainly stay again on my next visit, the locals were fantastic.
There is currently construction in front of the hotel of a welcoming plaza for the ferry port which didn’t effect my stay/sleep but will be a wonderful addition once completed.would 100% recommend.
TTaiguoyongxiachengLuxor is an ancient city, so one shouldn't set expectations too high for hotels. This one, located right on the Nile, is old but well-maintained, not dilapidated. The sheets were decent, and the air conditioning wasn't noisy. All things considered, it's not bad at all. Plus, the hotel is quite spacious. And the Nile is right outside the door.
GGuest UserThe hotel was very clean and it was near the center of interesting places of visit. The breakfast was topnotch and the workers were very helpful. I would recommend the hotel for singles and couples with children.

GGuest UserOverall it is a nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and they are really trying their best to make you feel comfortable and at home. I only have a couple of points for improvement. First of all their bathroom is very old fashioned and can be much more hygienic. Second, we stayed at a room for 3 people and the room only had 1 charging pit and 1 in the bathroom. Third, the breakfast was okay and the lunch and dinner options are nice, however it took a long time before dinner arrived. Lastly, the wifi. You need a separate password for every device but after scrolling or calling for 5 minutes you finish your “balance” and need a new password. Not very practical for tourists. Like I said the hotel is nice and I would recommend it, but be cautious about the things I mentioned above.
TTravelBHad a really great stay! The hotel is on the West Bank of Luxor which is really beautiful and is nice and quiet. It is close to the Valley of the Kings and also close to the nile which was super convenient. The staff were super friendly and helpful! I forgot my phone charger and one of the staff members let me borrow one from them which I thought was so sweet. The staff were always around to help and were very accommodating. Ate at the hotel restaurant the whole trip and the food was really good. Fahd helped with all of the tours and getting a driver and really went above and beyond to make my trip amazing. The hotel has two pools and the rooftop has beautiful views of the valley and the hot air balloons in the morning. All in all I was very happy with my stay :)
HHovisYasser and his team are amazing!
The location is brilliant tucked out of way from the busy areas of West Bank but only a 10 min walk to all the shops and restaurants you could want and 15 mins from the ferry to east bank
Mohammad is very polite friendly and also will give you a lift on his motor like to places if you like!
The food I had here was better than alot of the places I ate in my 11 days in Egypt easily top 2
The room was spacious clean and well equipped and the roof top pool and bar were brilliant with a pool table and table tennis.
I was a solo traveler so Yasser and the team offered for me to join them for some food and pool if I wanted to which I enjoyed!
If recommend this place for everyone and anyone 10/10
