We stay 2 nights and so happy staying here. Excellent location next to ancient river and like a oasis in old street, very close to Lijing Gate, old town night market and Luoyi ancient city. The ladies in hotel welcome and take care of us with warm hospitality during our stay, so thankful❣️. Two cats are the star, so beautiful and friendly. We meet the owner, a very nice person who create the charm of the place. Will definitely to stay here again if we back to visit Luoyang✨

I had a nice experience at the hotel. The Hotel is located very close to the airport. It also has a good environment and amenities. In addition, all staff I met were both professional and hospitable. Though  we had a slight challenge communicating due to language barrier, the staff was able to work around it to attend to all my needs.  I also enjoyed free shuttle services to pick up my family from the airport and subsequent drop off at the train station. I will not hesitate to choose the hotel when next I am in that vicinity. I recommend others to give it a try.

We had a wonderful stay at Jiyuan Huangin Hotel, where the service exceeded our expectations. The hotel is strategically located, with easy access to vibrant street food options and popular local attractions, making it a great base for exploring the area. The staff were exceptionally helpful, offering excellent recommendations and even assisting us in securing entrance tickets to the Luoyang Museum. What truly stood out was their outstanding customer service—after we had already checked out and traveled to another province, the hotel staff contacted us to inform us that we had left some belongings behind. They promptly arranged to have the items shipped to our next hotel at no additional cost. We are extremely grateful for their professionalism and care. Highly recommended!

Near the airport. Taxi to hotel on lately night is about 25 yuan. (The hotel has shuttle bus service but my flight is delayed) Room is ok with full amenities. The staff can not speak English but can communicate via translate machine. Breakfast is so so. Price is reasonable.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The owner and his wife are incredibly friendly, warm, and accommodating. It’s just a few minutes from the Shaolin Temple, and the owner even offered transportation to and from the site. The food is delicious, I tried the egg fried rice, Sichuan Mala chicken, and Mala tofu (beancurd). the portions are generous and easily enough for 2–3 people. The rooftop offers stunning views of the mountains, and the owner is happy to serve tea if you’d like. There are also clothes-drying areas on the 2nd and 5th floors. While language differences limit conversation, the couple’s kindness and hospitality truly shine through. I would absolutely stay here again if I return. Heads-up: I wanted to go to Luoyang, and the owner kindly took me to a nearby spot where the bus stops. She even spoke to the driver to help me get on the right bus. After a while, the driver informed me through a note that he was heading to Gongyi instead. He asked me to get down and pointed towards another bus. I then took the bus, confirming with the driver that it was going to Luoyang before boarding. However, the same thing happened again; the driver stopped halfway and asked me to take a taxi. It seemed like the taxi driver might have been the bus driver’s acquaintance as he boarded the bus right after bus stops. The taxi driver initially quoted me 150 yuan to take me to my hotel in Luoyang. I wanted to use Didi, but the app couldn’t recognise the hotel’s name. Since the hotel was only a few meters from the Longmen Grottoes, I knew the fare should be around 65 yuan. I showed him the price on the app and he eventually agreed on 100 yuan. My advice: if you’re unsure of the bus route, go directly to the bus station. They will help you find the correct bus to your destination and let you know if any transfers are needed. This experience ended up being quite inconvenient, costing me both time and money. What should have been a 30-yuan trip from Dengfeng to Luoyang ended up costing me three times more. The owner had nothing to do with this, it’s just a heads-up for anyone planning to take the bus.

The room was cleaned very well and everything was available. The front desk service was great, especially Liu Yang, who had a great service attitude. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Xinxiang

The experience of staying here was quite pleasant, especially the service provided by the hotel counter staff was excellent. They are friendly and helpful, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism whether providing travel information, solving accommodation needs, or assisting with special requests. Such thoughtful service made the whole journey smoother and improved the overall satisfaction of the accommodation.

The front desk clerk was very kind. She even knocked on the door in the morning in case we were late. I really appreciate her.

Staffs are friendly. They may not able to communicate in English but it does not the problem as they are willing to chat via translate tool. Room is clean and comfortable. 4 free water bottles in room and 2 cans of cola/sprite. Free breakfast. Free light meal during 20:30-21:30. Near Luoyang Longmen high speed station. You may hear some noise as the trains arrive the station. A convenience store close to the hotel. A bit far from luoyi old town but easy to take taxi/didi to it. Overall is it is very good hotel.

This is a very large hostel with very good service. The staff greets you with a smile at the counter; the girl at the reception, although she did not speak English, said a prepared phrase after registration: ”Follow my colleague, he will show you around the hostel.” That is, they clearly worked with the staff! The young man really showed me around the building: showed me the room, toilet, bathroom, recreation areas. The hostel is well thought out: already at the entrance, near the elevator, there are a large number of small cells for shoes and change of slippers - that is, you come in from the street, change your shoes, and walk around everywhere in clean flip-flops. The hostel's hygiene is also at a very high level - very clean. The bathrooms are a separate room. The toilets are separate rooms (and toilets, not holes in the floor). As I understand it, there is a separation for both women's toilets/showers and men's. I would like to point out one more detail that I remember and that was not in other hostels of a similar level and scale: when you enter the shower and close the door, you hang your things and a towel on the hooks on the door. But often, in other hostels, things and a towel got wet because of this. Here, they took this into account and hung an additional thick curtain between the door and the shower. Very cool! As for bathroom accessories, they also have everything: toilet paper, shampoo, body gel, soap, towel. I also really remember the organization of public areas: there is a quiet place (something like a library), where you can sit, read or just relax in silence; near the reception there is a large screen for watching movies (and people really sat together and watched); there is a pool table (a very popular place - no matter how often I passed, there was always a game there); and, my love - the roof. The roof, where there are umbrellas, green carpet and chairs with tables where you can sit, eat, relax and in the evening, when the lights come on, unwind. Very cozy. Unfortunately, I couldn't fully enjoy all the order and organization of the hostel, since I chose this place because of its proximity to the station and the price, and before that I stayed closer to the Grottoes, but the hostel is clearly VERY GOOD! And, by the way, I'll note that you don't have to do what I did: look for accommodation closer to the Grottoes so that they are within walking distance. Bus 81 runs from the hostel. I think it runs until 8 pm. That is, arriving at the Grottoes by 5 pm will not be a problem (well, and if you stay in the Grottoes until the evening, for example, until 9-10, a taxi will not be too expensive. In any case, you will pay more for a private room near the Grottoes). Overall, if I had planned to stay in Luoyang longer, I would have chosen this place for a longer stay. It is a social, well-organized hostel, where you can find everything you need. Unfortunately, there is only one photo of the hostel itself - the rooftop, but what a place)
