I give this hotel a 10 out of 5 stars! The room was divine, the location is right on the 4 lakes and it was just quiet, clean, modern and well equipped. Could not have been happier! Oh and after travelling through china for a while, I was delighted to have some eggs on toast with a juice for breakfast for a change :)

I had a super experience at Lu Yi and can really recommend it. For a reasonable price you get a big room, big and comfy bed, a very nice shower and a lot of amenities. It’s also in a nice location without too much noise. Other than that, the staff were super friendly and helpful. I can really recommend renting a e-scooter from them for 30 Yuan a day.

This is a great hotel if you are interested in resting for a day in the middle of your trip. The location is good, 10 minutes away walking from a pedestrian street with plenty of establishments and restaurants. The hotel offers great views with included free activities, in which I took part of two: the Miao Ethnicity photoshoot session and the ******* bowl sound healing. It has a pool which unfortunately I couldn't try as I'm traveling in March, and is too cold, but I did enjoy the terrace views during both day and night. The butler service is quite attentive, answering quickly to our doubts and offered a plate of fresh fruit upon arrival. We didn't eat in the hotel, instead we preferred to order from outside, and a Keenon delivery robot makes sure to deliver the order directly to your room. The suite was spacious and clean, with a lovely decor. I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it for families and couples.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in this hotel, we usually don’t like to write reviews, as good as this hotel is, I would recommend who visit Yangshuo,Guilin. Quiet and the flower fragrance fills in the air river-side hotel located at many tourist attractions. An amazing scenery right after you walk out from your room, either you in the elevator and at the laundry room! Staffs are so polite, and the breakfast is the best!

This hotel is in a great location with a beautiful view from the room. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. One thing to note is that the breakfast is entirely Chinese, which might make it a bit challenging for international guests to find familiar options. A big plus was that the hotel kindly allowed us to store our luggage for a full day after check-out, which was very convenient. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend this hotel for its excellent location and hospitality!

Overall a very nice hotel but I wouldn't give it 5 stars. In my opinion it's more of a 3-4 star boutique hotel. The room was very large and nice, with 3 panoramic windows to the courtyard in front of the entrance. No unpleasant smells, one window with mosquito net. The TV didn't work, meaning it didn't have regular channels connected. The bathroom very large but unfortunately without any heating. In my opinion too cold for a bath or shower. Leaving the door to the room open and raising the room thermostat to 30 degrees Celsius didn't change anything. Welcome fruits were very nice. Free afternoon tea modest, exactly as shown on the photo during booking. Amenities with too strong for my taste, masculine smell. Based on the number of seats in the dining room (only 24), I think it's a really small hotel, so the breakfast had a very limited choice and quantity, but it was tasty. At the check out each guest receives a pack of local tea. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is connected by bus 18 or 100 with Guilin North station but I don't recommend taking bus. First of all, tickets from Guangzhou or Shenzhen should work, but they didn't, and neither did Allipay. One ticket costs 2 yuan, and you can pay in cash. More importantly, there is no overground crossing between the nearest bus stop and the hotel. You have to use an underground passage [a lot of stairs, no lift], and with suitcases it's a big problem. In the other direction, from the hotel to the station, there's no such problem. Taxi cost around 0.25 euros per kilometer.

We stayed here for 4 nights with as a family of 5 (two rooms, one of which is a room with an extra bed). I’ve written a much longer review for our other booking, but in gist, highly recommend! The services was impeccable and the view of the pagoda was lovely from the room. It was also really modern and the number of freebies from woodblock printing to foot massage and more really sweetened the deal. You could tell they also really cared about service - the guest relation manager even asked us during our buffet breakfast if we had any feedback for them! It especially helped that the buffet breakfast was really good, as well as the hotel restaurant

The hotel is located in the centre of vibrant Guilin city. Reachable with Didi and within walking distance to Sun and Moon Pagodas, Elephant Trunk Hill, Love Park and the busy West Street pedestrian walk where you can find plenty of eats and other products. Local delecacies and fashion is also available. The room was spacious and clean. Washroom was good too. The only disappointment was the aircond system. Even though it was really hot outside, we could not lower the aircond temperature at all. At night, the aircond stops and restarts all the time. Perhaps a system glitch. Checkin was fast with Trip.com bookings and staff were really helpful with suggestions and directions. Breakfast was nice with local flavours plus western touch. Overall, a hotel we strongly recommend whenever coming in to Guilin. Attractions are near but let's start walking.

The best hotel out of the 10 we stayed in Guangxi. The room is really nice, with great design and spacious. Breakfast has good variety and the staff at the reception are so friendly and helpful. They are patient with our queries, and even helped us switched rooms fuss free, not one but twice cos cigarette smoke somehow get into our rooms. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed the stay. It is located between Liu Sanjie and West street, and you can either walk or cab to these 2 venues. Good amenities for kids too.

Room view vs Customer Service. Pros : Credit to the lady who spoke English at the reception. She is a gem to the hotel, she went the extra miles to ensure our plans went well. Perfect, Xiaojie ! Becoz of her, we are willing to give 5 stars ! Cons : Lake view, almost fully blocked by the roof of the restaurant below, which is a total disappointment ! Neverthe less, stunning mountain view. Room tips : Go for a higher floor, the lake view might be slightly better. Do add some fake grass carpet over the roof for a more pleasant sight.

The hotel is surrounded by nature, a little secluded and far off from the main streets. However, e-hailing taxi / Didi are very accessible and convenient. The hotel staff are very friendly and attentive but language barrier may be a challenge if you do not speak Chinese. Best to communicate via WeChat / translation app. The hotel consist of several buildings, with building 3 and 4 being the newest. Restaurant is located in building 1 which you will need to walk over the lawn, slight inconvenient if it’s raining. We had our meals at the hotel a couple of times and the food was good - only Chinese cuisine was served. Breakfast was decent. What we love was that there are several activities throughout the day organised by the hotel to keep the little ones occupied. And there are different play area in each building. If you are looking for peaceful serene stay that is also family friendly, this is the perfect place. Overall, would recommend this place to friends and family.

The hotel was conveniently located near the Romance show, West food street, and River within 10 min taxi ride. There are 3 small pools and 1 with kids slide. The family room where we stayed has a small slide and plush toys to help entertain small children. The breakfast has small options but sufficient. The Guilin rice noodles are delicious at breakfast. You can rent family scooters at the hotel for 50yuan an hour which was super fun as we rode to the river side. The Chinese restaurant right outside the hotel is also very delicious. The only downside is hotel staff are not fluent in English.

The room itself was the same as the pictures. The room was clean but deep cleaning would be better for dust and added hygiene. The shower also had debris from previous guests. The breakfast was lacking food for vegetarians and the breakfast hall was chaotic . I booked a family room which stated landmark view. However on entering the view it looked into the back alley and had 3 walls that had no view. I requested a room with a view and was told to pay 100yuan. I was then given a family theme room when we were three adults. And had to request to remove all the kiddies things. And request to be given adult sized slippers and toothbrush. Pardon my understanding but if I book a landmark view surely it means a view of a landmark. The staff had a really sour attitude, and were not very courteous, or understanding. No welcome drink was offered . Make sure to book a Mountain View room if you want to have a nice experience. The hotel is in a convenient location.

Had an amazing stay at percent hotel! We didn’t get to enjoy the view from the room balcony but managed to catch the beautiful sunrise from the roof top instead! Was informed that there was a sudden road construction happening and advised to change room due to the noise in the morning. Getting the booking changed on Trip was easy with the receptionist (Emily) helping us out throughout the way. Emily and her team attended to all our needs during our stay and even help plan our itinerary based on the number of days we were there. Had such a good experience staying here and would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Actually nicely located just at the alley of the happening street, just that the access is a bit tricky. Very narrow car access, might need to walk in. Would be challenging if you bring heavy luggage. The hotel is nicely renovated, and have nice view from rooftop deck.

I have been to Nanning for business trips recently and have stayed in many hotels. This time I chose the more famous Nanhu Mingdu Hotel. As expected, many details of this time-honored hotel are very well done! From the check-in at the front desk, I was upgraded to a lake view room for free, and the guy at the gym actively prepared water for me and handed me a clean towel in person. The room also prepared red wine, etc. All these details made me feel very satisfied! 👍👍 I will continue to choose this hotel next time I come. Recommend it!

I had a wonderful time at Nanning Hotel! The hotel itself is beautiful, but it is the staff who made my stay. I was fortunate to meet Zhou Yu, the front of house manager, whose excellent English was very helpful. He and the other staff of this hotel went the extra mile to help me enjoy my stay. I thoroughly recommend the hotel!

I love the location however there are some things that can be improved. This was my third time staying. 1. More customer service training for the cooks at the breakfast buffet stations. It can be tiring standing and coping with massive crowds at time and dealing with some customers may lead the staff losing cool. 2. Missing lock at toilet on level 17 near the cafe. 3. The light switches in room can be improved.

The location is great - near the shopping malls, sanjieliangxiang and the metro. The rooms are pretty worn though it is acceptable given the price point. The first room assigned to me, on the corner of the 6th floor, was very rundown (like 15years of wear and tear - hole in the floor, water marks, rusty pipes, cigarette smell lingering all the time) but the reception kindly changed the room for me. The room I stayed in on the 10th floor was much better (see photo) but when you look closer you can see 5 years of wear and tear. Occasionally there are whiffs of cigarette smell in the room though hotel is officially non-smoking - I suspect through the ventilation system as there’s a mahjong club on the 3rd floor.

Non-smokers please note that this listing includes both smoking and non-smoking variants! We did not notice this as other listings we've seen usually indicate whether the room itself is smoking/non-smoking. Additionally the front desk didn't ask for our preference when we were checking in. We only noticed the stench after we had settled in and were ready to sleep. The room is also equipped with a soundproofing door but we were still woken up by loud noises from the hallway and the room above. Besides these issues the room was generally spacious and bedding was comfortable.

The room is really clean and new. The bed and firm pillow are amazing for the sleep. 2 pillows were provided. The housekeeper is super friendly and enthusiastic. The front desk is warm with the greetings and quick with the processing. The reception area is filled with daily amenities. There is free laundry area and gym. Luggage can be stored up to 3 months as well. You can travel to elsewhere with a lighter load and be back to collect. The only feedback I have is the shower runs hot and cold intermittently. Overall, it is perfect!

Very nice and clean hotel. Convenient place to stay for food and shopping (attached to the hotel). A short walk away from Mixc. Hotel breakfast is great. If you want to eat your breakfast near to the hotel, choices are limited within a short walk. It is also close to QingXiu Mountain Park and the LangXi night market (both about 10 minutes car ride away)

The location is very good, Nanning Railway station is just round the corner. The airport bus is beside the hotel. Metro is below the hotel. Underground shopping mall, eateries and shops are all around. Service is average, professional but not warm. Cigarette smell lingers everywhere.

Good value for money. The hotel room was equipped with AC and water kettle. Bed was very comfortable and hot water was always available. The location is very convenient. Only 700 meters to Nanning railway station. Drinking water was provided daily. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day. Many restaurants and shops can be found next to the hotel.
