I recently stayed at Wrest Point and would definitely stay again! My room was a highlight—spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed, and a stunning view of the bay that made my stay extra special. I really enjoyed spending time at the Birdcage Bar. The cocktails were fantastic and the atmosphere was lively—highly recommend for a fun night out. Staff-wise, my experience was mixed: some team members were amazing and made me feel welcome, while others weren’t as friendly or helpful as I’d hoped. This didn’t overshadow my overall positive stay, but it’s worth mentioning. A good environment means that the landlord must agree to the house, which is not suitable for Chinese food. You can stop on the side of the road. The only advantage is that it is very close to the beach at night and you can see the little penguins.

The hotel is located at the foot of the Big Nut, in the center of the town. The room is not big, the curtains on the windows are broken, so it is impossible to close the curtains. There is no one at the front desk at night, so I just made do with it for one night.

Location and view over Launceston from Top Floor were amazing. Apartments are in need of refurbishment, which I am told they are due to do. Basic old spa room, but the views made up for it. Bed comfy, sheets and towels clean. Just what we needed for our 1 night stay before heading back to Melbourne the next day. Lift to 2nd & 3rd floors. Chimes of Town Hall clock didn’t keep me awake, but you may want to be aware of that.

The location is excellent! Very easy to find, easy to park, close to the sea, and you can see the little penguins returning to their nests when you leave the camp at night. Although there are not many penguins, unlike the groups of penguins on Phillip Island, we saw more than 10 penguins in total, and they were very close. The room facilities are relatively complete, but the bathroom is small and there is no place to put toiletries. There is a supermarket next to the camp, which is also convenient for shopping, but the supermarket closes at 16:00 and opens at 8:00 in the morning.

Overall, the hotel is very good, the location is in the downtown area, we are sitting on the spirit to Devonport, the car rental port can be seen in the hotel for 10 minutes, the hotel has its own The parking lot, the room is large, very beautiful, the special silver tableware and crystal tableware are very beautiful in the large glass display cabinet, the hygiene is very good, the bathroom is very clean, Devonport has no attractions, if you rent a car, you can go to the seaside. It is a simple room at the container level. It is a RV camp. The facilities are all configured according to the camping configuration. The service is the same as nothing. The clean and clean conditions are no problem, but as a hotel, the price is very poor, that is, the level of the hotel.

We stayed here for one night while on a road trip around the island, but the location was so nice and the view when we woke up in the morning was amazing! We stayed here as a group of four adults and it was spacious and spacious enough. The water pressure in the shower was a little weak, but it was OK. There is also free parking, which is convenient. We could hear the people next door quite easily, so maybe the walls were thin, but other than that it was great and there were no problems!

Excellent site to look over The Nuts and galaxy in the evening. Beautiful sunset and sunrise just in front of my room. Close to Stanley Photo Frame which just locates at the back of the Inn. Thanks to Romeo for booking the Hursey Seafoods which serves tasty crayfish and abalone!!

GGuest UserWe didn't notice that we needed to check in before 6pm. When we arrived at the hotel after the Cradle Mountain hike, it was just over ten minutes. At first, we thought we had found the wrong entrance to the reception (it was a regular hotel, not a B&B, so we didn't expect that we couldn't check in so early. The sun didn't set until 8pm). There were two staff members sitting at the reception counter (glass door, visible from the outside), and no matter how we knocked or gestured, they just shook their hands. There was a small iron box on the door that needed to be opened with the password given in the email, and there was a key inside. But there were several big words in my email: Unable to display the content of the email! There was no way, we called the hotel, but they didn't answer and transferred the call to voice, so we had to leave a message. Just when we were about to contact Ctrip, the people inside finally came out, opened the iron box, and gave us the key. How arrogant!!!

GGuest UserHotel was great, didn’t realise it was situated over the top of a pub. But we didn’t research. The supreme king bed was the absolute best thing ever! So comfy and nice big comfy pillows! Sink to wash hands located in room not toilet which we found odd and cleaner only made 1 side of the bed not the other. But great friendly staff, clean room pretty darn good for the price!

PPenguinLadyWhat a super little hostel! Excellent location just minutes from the waterfront. Lovely man in reception - they always give a tour of facilities. Hostel is set in an old Victorian house which is delightful. Large well- equipped kitchen, free food available from previous guests. A lovely garden although it had yappy dogs in it so I wasn’t a fan. Beautiful upstairs verandah with comfortable seating, and sofas in other spaces to no shortage of places to relax. I was in a female four bed dorm which was a bit tight for space but I saw other rooms which seemed more spacious with wider beds. I loved the individual lights and fans for each bed. My bottom bunk had a curtain but I wouldn’t have like being in a top bunk as they didn’t, so you were exposed to the main light going o etc. The only thing that spoiled my stay was the same thing that spoils every stay I’ve had when travelling - thoughtless guests who make noise early in the morning/late at night. The three girls sharing my room got up at various times from 5.30 onwards so needless to say my morning did not start well! Hostel management can’t do much about that though. Immaculately clean bathrooms and a good vibe. I’d definitely stay here again, but in a private room!

PP SriswaiIt is a decent hotel located in the city of Hobart. There is a restaurant and cafe in the building. There is a gym if you are into fitness. The hotel does not provide a bottle of water for the guest, so you need to bring your own container and fills it at the gym or purchase it from the convenience store nearby. For those who hired a car, please note if you wish the hotel to park it in a valet parking and retrieve it anytime you need, there will be a cost of A$35 per day.

GGuest UserWe had a great second stay at this hotel. The room was a good size bathroom on the small side but functional. They gave us a high floor room with a nice view - we could even see the water and we liked the Trip.com deal where we got free breakfast. This was tasty and an enjoyable way to start the day. We found the staff were pleasant and we got a bottle of wine as we were celebrating a birthday. There is either onsite parking or you can get a discounted code for the Village cinemas carpark (both $15). This is a good 3 star standard hotel in a great location and we would come back. In fact, the breakfast was nicer than a recent very disappointing stay at the nearby (and much more expensive!) Moevenpick hotel.
