Accommodating family stay. Clean easy assessable stay. Would be nice to have a bigger games room and inside areas for children to play when cold and wet. More child friendly food and drink would be good for dinner. Pool area was lovely at night but slightly too dark maybe a few more tree lights around the pool would be good. Pool towels were available at reception and . Concierge was lovely and helpful but parking is limited and a bit stressful.

The landlord is very friendly, very friendly, the room is very comfortable, although not big but very warm, the equipment is perfect, next time I have the opportunity to stay, it is a perfect experience. Hygienic: very clean Environment: very beautiful

It was a solid stay would recommend, the staff were very well trained and handled the numerous travellers booking in at the same time. For the price point offered this hotel was an excellent price for the location in regards to the cairns CBD meaning a short 5 min drive gave access to all that the CBD offered

This is the second time I stayed with Dorsett, the last time is in February 2025, I had a great experience so I returned. This time I have to move my room 3 times. The first room due to no hot water on the tap, the second one due to the shower head hose burst with leaking spray, the manager was very apologetic for the repeated inconvenience and upgraded us to a executive room with complimentary breakfast. While I am a bit annoyed with the repeated moving, I am impressed with the manager's gesture for keeping customers happy. The another thing I like the hotel to improve is to keep the outdoor pool may be two degrees warmer so that hotel guests can still enjoy the beautiful pool in winter, especially the spa area.

Everything was decent. The room was tired with some permanent stains, but clean. The size of the room is good and the shower worked fine. Tv and fridge would be good. It felt a bit too pricy for the amenities provided. But the location is superb. And they have an inexpensive bar downstairs. And staff were nice.

I highly recommend the Magnus Hotel to anyone visiting Airlie Beach. The privileged location and comfort made my stay unforgettable. I would definitely stay here again.

We didn't expect our stay to be in such a wonderful setting. With tennis court, fantastic pools area with gym etc. we were on the 2nd floor with Riverview WOW. THE resort is totally central to all. Also the cost factor unbelievable not your normal Surfer Paradise $$$$$. Totally recommend

I enjoyed my stay at Crowne Plaza but unfortunately the TV was not working for my whole stay. The staff were very apologetic but unfortunately it did not complete my whole stay. Just a shame that the problems with the internet and tv were not resolved before my stay was completed.

The hotel is very nice, and the location is perfect near the beach, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was great too. Pools and gym are a bit small but they’re nice and clean.

Perfect hotel. Staffs are very friendly and the room is very clean and the interior design is very cozy. We booked a room with a spa and I had such a great night with my boyfriend in this lovely hotel. The view from the room is stunning.
