This front desk staff member named Shafali is, without a doubt, the worst I have ever encountered in all my travels. When we first handed her our passports, she was flirting with a male security guard and chatting with her male colleague, showing a dismissive attitude throughout the entire interaction. There was no greeting, no polite language—she only spoke in single words like ”passport” and ”second passport,” which came across as highly unprofessional. When we requested a second key card, she outright refused without any explanation. What made it even more frustrating was that I had clearly stated ”two separate beds, please” in the special requests on Trip, but upon entering the room, we found it was a double bed. She hadn’t even bothered to confirm my request! In the end, we had to ask the housekeeping staff to convert the double bed into two single beds on the spot. After a long and tiring journey, we had to wait another 20 to 30 minutes for the housekeeping staff to make the bed, which was a complete waste of time.
Since she refused to provide a second key card, we had to go back downstairs to ask a male front desk staff member for an additional one, further wasting our time.
In contrast, the housekeeping staff on the sixth floor and the security guards downstairs were very friendly and provided excellent service. However, the hotel facilities are quite outdated, and there was a strong unpleasant smell near the elevator exit. The breakfast options were limited and not particularly tasty.
On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located near the light rail station and the airport, making it a suitable choice for travelers catching flights.
Overall, everything is very good, and the location of the hotel is excellent. The lobby, however especially the waiting area tends to be quite crowded most of the time, and there are often non guests seen sitting or resting there. The hotel also has a large disco, which makes the area livelier but sometimes adds to the crowd in the evenings.
On the other hand, the upper floors of the hotel are peaceful and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere for guests. The hotel staff, especially the room cleaners, are extremely professional, friendly, and attentive. Their service really adds to the overall positive experience.
I’ve stayed at Taj JLT multiple times, and I keep coming back not just for the beautiful rooms and views, but because of the service – truly unmatched compared to other hotels.
Apoorva from the front office is consistently exceptional – warm, professional, and always goes above and beyond to make each stay smooth and pleasant.
Shipajul and Kausar from housekeeping do an excellent job keeping the room immaculate and cozy, always with a friendly and respectful attitude.
It was also great to see Janet at the spa again for the second time – she’s now my favorite masseuse. Her calming energy and skilled hands made both sessions incredibly relaxing and restorative.
During this stay, there was a bit of renovation work going on, which caused some occasional noise, but honestly, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. I still truly enjoyed my stay – the warmth and quality of service at Taj JLT always win me over.
Next week, looks like I will be there again!
Great stay in barcelo al jaddaf , all the service is excellent and the staff as well special mention to kaouter from guest relation and osama for giving us a good room and better rate

Ideally located and close to the airport. Comfortable bed. Loved the way this hotel given priorities to environmental sustainability.
Everything was perfact except for 2 small thing.
1. Tea/ coffee making facility provided but no tea spoon provided. 2. Only 2 small bottle of water provided each day. In extreme heat 2 bottles is not sufficient.

It was a great experience staying at Pearl Swiss hotel. We had a very nice time with my mom. Everything was fine, rooms clean, location is very close to the metro which is great. I’d definitely come back to stay at this place whenever I am coming back to Dubai.

Gem of hotel, rooms were brilliant, beds were extremely comfortable.
The pool was amazing - didn’t use the gym /spa or have any food as the amenities close by provided the flexibility to choose what I wanted to eat each evening.
Parking was free (first come first serve).
20mins from all tourist attractions yet away from the hustle and bustle - calm in the evenings
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the hotel in Jaddaf, and I must say, it was a delightful experience.
The hotel offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step in.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure guests are comfortable.
I really enjoyed my stay at Emirates Grand Hotel. The location is perfect—close to everything and very convenient for exploring the city. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were attentive throughout my stay. Overall, it’s a great hotel for both relaxation and easy access to Dubai’s main attractions.

Very Good
UUlziibayarI have booked for king bed room. Unfortunately when I came for check in my room was with connection door inside with other room. Then I request to change the room. But receptionist informed me that no king size room available and he recommend me twin room, which I did not expect.
This was useless for me to book the room in advance.
HHaitham AlqamI had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. The check-in process was smooth, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and modern design of the lobby.
The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything I needed — comfortable bed, strong Wi-Fi, and a beautiful view. Housekeeping maintained the room perfectly every day.
One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet — a wide variety of fresh options, both local and international, served in a relaxing and stylish atmosphere.
The location was also ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation. I especially appreciated the quiet environment, which made for a restful night’s sleep.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and a great experience. I will definitely return!
11388069****The room was clean, hygienic, and spacious. The valet parking service was excellent. From certain angles, the sea-view rooms offer glimpses of Atlantis and the Burj Al Arab.
SSomewhere In Time ⏳Located right @ the entrance of the Dubai Financial Centre metro train 🚂 station, its most convenient to travel around with ease. Comfy & cosy room with beautiful decor, boasting the panoramic view of Dubai iconic Burg Khalifa. Great F&B selection for breakfast, spoilt for choice. Staff are warm, friendly & helpful. But awaiting for the lift arrival is a next level challenge 😂
EEwan912The sole purpose for this stay is for the countdown view of Burj Khalifa and the room’s view is spectacular! We drove and was met with the valet but then from there to the lobby was not clear as expected with a 5 star hotel. Once we got up to the room it was great. Bathroom was nice and room is modern, but the TV is not great. The the colour is obviously broken with half the TV different. Breakfast was good with a good spread and taste was good but they didn’t have enough staff and service is rushed and the experience is not quite 5 star. It just seems a number of staff isn’t fully trained and the manager had to tell them to do this and that in front of us. Lastly, they tried the “menu” model like top hotels with the breakfast and that was a joke! I ordered French toast and on the menu it was with whipped cream and compote with berries. The plate given had no cream and just had a couple strawberries. It was a good stay but still some areas to improve for the premium price.
KKhalfan_AlnaqbiThe hotel's location on Sheikh Zayed Road is excellent. It's conveniently close to Mall of the Emirates, an 11-minute drive to Dubai Hills Mall, and 15 minutes to Dubai Mall. However, while the furniture is in good condition, it feels quite dated, and the bathroom and kitchen facilities also show their age. The gym is excellent and spotlessly clean, as is the pool, which also boasts a great location.
GGuest UserA fantastic hotel in a good location - easy to get around Dubai from here either by taxi, car or the metro is only a few steps away. The hotel is beautifully designed from the lobby to the top floor pool and bar. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and with all the facilities you would expect. The beds were super comfy and the pillows and linen were great quality resulting in a fab nights sleep. The rooms are also soundproof so no noisy neighbours! The restaurant has a huge selection on offer for breakfast - great quality too. The roof top pool and bar was an awesome place to relax and have a drink, day or night.
The service from reception, concierge to the roof top bar was outstanding. Overall ,a fantastic holiday and a great place to stay - thank you.
二二里路I’ve visited Dubai many times, but this trip was extra special because I went with my niece, and it was her first time visiting the city. I wanted to find something unique for her, so after some research, I decided to stay at this themed hotel converted from a cruise ship.
It turned out to be a truly amazing experience — it felt like living on a real ship! I actually learned a lot about what life is like aboard a large cruise, and it was both fun and fascinating. If anyone is looking for a unique themed hotel experience in Dubai, I would definitely recommend this one.
That said, the location of the hotel isn’t very convenient. It’s quite far from the city center, and taxis aren’t always readily available unless you book through an app or have your own car.
Another thing I noticed was that some of the front desk staff could be more polite. One evening, when we returned to the hotel, a lady at the entrance stopped us and insisted on checking our documents before allowing us to enter. I understand security is important, but as hotel guests, this approach felt a bit unfriendly. Even if someone isn’t staying at the hotel, I believe staff should still treat all visitors with kindness and professionalism — after all, a friendly interaction can easily turn a visitor into a future guest.
Other than that, our overall experience was good, *************. The hotel’s design and theme were impressive, and it was definitely a memorable stay for both of us.
SStella7It was a great experience staying at Pearl Swiss hotel. We had a very nice time with my mom. Everything was fine, rooms clean, location is very close to the metro which is great. I’d definitely come back to stay at this place whenever I am coming back to Dubai.
GGuest UserA very satisfying experience, the bed was very comfortable, the room was large and very clean. I slept well, the soundproofing of the room was good, and the breakfast was pretty good. All in all, it was great. Will come again
