The experience is very good. The room is large and has a strong sense of design. The toiletries, aromatherapy, drinks, and fruits are all very considerate. The butler service is also in place, picking up and dropping off the room, and private service group. Breakfast and desert surfing cars are provided. The baking level of breakfast is quite high. The best activities of this trip were the starry sky sharing session and the telescope teaching activities at the array observatory. The 45-minute content was very substantial, and it was really full of atmosphere and participation. Even novices could use telescopes. The observatory was built in the desert, and there were many people participating in the activities that day. The teachers were very enthusiastic and professional, which was really great! Teachers Ella and Feng from the Star Trace Observatory took us to use astronomical telescopes to observe the moon, Jupiter, Mars and the Orion Nebula, and also popularized deep-space photography. Teacher Ella also took a photo of us with Orion and shared her starry sky photography works.

JJoo HiengThe hotel is located about 20 minutes away from the Zhongwei south station. You’ll need a cab for this area and is 30-40 minutes to city of Zhongwei. Not much f&b options available around the area except for Riva (which is average) Breakfast experience is bad. Could be better with more options. The breakfast is at Riva. There were only 1 choice of white bread. Eggs - hard boiled eggs. No eggs station. There were noodle stations. Fruits was also very basic only watermelon and rock melon. More seasonal fruits is better. The hotel is quiet - the swimming pool could be better in operating mode. Even you can’t swim and just for picture, would be nice to soak. Bathroom amenity should be replaced on daily basis. A fan of the Le Labo amenities. If you’re going for dinner, suggest book in advance or you’ll need to take a 40 mins trip to the city for dinner. Light meals can be ordered. The bakery is nice and love the apple cinnamon rolls, they also offer breakfast but only breads, daily freshly pressed juices and coffee. For the rate that you’re paying - it’s really just for the location and unique experience. There’s also pottery classes available.

MMeggieThe hotel is very convenient as it is inside sha po you yellow river park. You can enjoy the view while taking your meal at the restaurant which is next to the yellow river. At night can walk around the park while the rest of the tourists leave the place. It is like the whole park is yours. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Food wise is more traditional/local Chinese food. Foreigners may not be used to it. Hotel is very clean as welll. They have complimentary breakfast and dinner, welcome fruits and afternoon tea. overall the hotel is great!

GGuest UserThe starry sky room is perfect for kids. Look up at the stars and the sand slopes. My 4-year-old son went to the tent to sleep by himself. The view was great and he was close to nature. The hotel provides disposable toilet seats, face towels and bath towels. When we checked in at noon, the staff turned on the air conditioner in advance. The service in the entire park is very good. There are fewer people in the off-season, so the boss will send an off-road vehicle for individual pick-up. The teachers in the study tour program were also very good, interesting and patient. For some programs, we were the only family in the group and we were 15 minutes late, but the teachers still took us out to play. We saw sand lizards and sand beetles on the hike. The teacher saw that we were interested and wanted to catch them for us to see. Walking and stopping, chatting with them in the desert like friends, it was a great experience. In the starry sky classroom, after class, the teacher took everyone to sit on the sand slope, took out the laser light and told everyone about the constellations and the stories of the stars. This page of the starry sky picture book is so romantic✨ The camels in the project are very clean. The white camels have full humps and can be used as cushions. They are much more comfortable than expected. Hahahaha... the off-road motorcycle leader controlled the direction and asked me to press the accelerator to the bottom. The screaming was comparable to that of a roller coaster. The team leader will also move the camera to take photos from multiple angles. You have to take a taxi to the Zuoqi East Lake Scenic Area first, and then the store will drive an off-road vehicle to take you to their camp. Not far from the road, there is a big goose and a small cat. Wherever you go, the goose will follow, but its call is a bit loud. At night, you can see the stars in the sky! 🏠 Facilities I went to live in the desert tent in mid-to-late October. The temperature was a bit low at night. The face was still cold after plugging in the electric blanket. It is recommended to go before mid-October. It will not be very cold. There are two choices of tents and rooms. The price of the room will be more expensive, but it will not be so cold. The service boss is super good. I will introduce me to eat and play, there is a bonfire party and fireworks in the evening, and I have met some friends here. In short, it is an unforgettable memory, a desert trip for one person!
