TTaoxilvxingThe views here are all desert landscapes, exactly as described in the reviews I saw online before booking. The photos are very realistic, and the environment truly feels like something out of an ancient poem. Although it's in the desert and the wind and sand can be intense, my accommodation was spotless. All the essential facilities were provided and easy to use, making my stay very convenient. The service was excellent, and the owner was incredibly helpful. Before we arrived, they even reminded us about easily forgotten items, and once we got there, they gave us great tips on how to explore the area. We had a fantastic time!

Ccrystal-ChouI like this shop very much. The environment is very good and the hygiene is very clean. There is a projector in the room, as well as a clothes drying rack. There are steps in the room, and there is a sensor night light at night, which is very considerate. As soon as we checked in, the children followed us to do handicrafts. We can draw wind chimes and make rubbings. There are only two children, and the staff is very patient and not perfunctory. Afternoon tea, coffee, sparkling water and two Swiss rolls were sent, which were delicious. In the evening, there was even sweet soup, which is porridge. It is really considerate. It is highly recommended for children! !

KKaixindepingzidepingziThe room was clean and sanitary. I stayed here for three days. Breakfast is also good. There are steamed cereals, Western pastries, cold dishes and hot dishes every day. They are very child-friendly and basically not spicy. Yogurt, pudding, milk, soy milk and porridge are available. Diagonally opposite the hotel is Xiangyang Street (BBQ Street).
The hotel is also conveniently located to several attractions in the city. It only takes 3-5 minutes to walk to the Drum Tower and Gaomiao. There is a park behind Chairman Mao, and across the park is the Gaomiao. Zhongwei Museum is a 6-minute taxi ride away.
The hotel staff are all warm and polite. I left my mobile phone charging cable behind when I left. The cleaning staff found it in time and the lady at the front desk picked it up for me and brought it back down. She also gave souvenirs to the children. I’m really happy! The child asked why he should stay at Guyu Jasmine Hotel next time he comes to Zhongwei.

However, the family room with decoration is set. After opening the room, it is the same as the ordinary family room. The front desk let the waiter arrange it on the spot. The waiter came to complain that the front desk did not say in advance. It was full of negative energy, and it was re-booked according to the ordinary family room. I have lived for one night before and have a housekeeper WeChat. After I know it, I sent a tent to play for the children.

JJago SevatarOf all the camps in the area to choose from I highly recommend staying at this particular one. The manager Wang Shiquan and his team are incredibly good hosts and made sure I had everything I needed. As a foreigner I felt incredibly welcomed and included.
The tents are of really good quality and very roomy. The beds are really comfy too. The activities are also plentiful with quad biking, camel riding and sandboarding. Shapotou is very close by too with much to do.
Ningxia is definitely an underrated province and I highly recommend anyone to come and see it and experience the kind hospitality of it's people from this camp.

GGuest UserI traveled all the way from Beijing to the Desert Star Hotel just for the experience of staying in the desert. On the day of my check-in, a strong wind picked up around noon, making our cabin creak as if it might blow away. But surprisingly, there was no dust inside the room, just an exhilarating feeling.
The bathroom in the cabin was clean and convenient, with plenty of hot water for showering. The bedding was comfortable, and the room temperature was just right. The hot pot dinner was fantastic, with a rich variety of ingredients. The beef and lamb slices were incredibly tender, and there were so many side dishes, Western pastries, stews, and BBQ options that we couldn't possibly try everything. Breakfast offered a delicious mix of Chinese and Western options with a wide selection. Staying at the Desert Star Hotel was truly a rare experience, living embraced by the stars and the desert. It was novel, comfortable, and delightful; every photo taken was a masterpiece. After 10 PM was prime stargazing time, and I hadn't seen such a sky full of stars in ages!
The hotel's butler was diligent and responsible, sending guidance messages constantly. The most pleasant surprise was the timely stargazing index they provided – it was so useful! Before leaving, we accidentally found a necklace we had lost at the Star Cafe, which was another delightful surprise. The entire desert camp, from the reception and butler communication to the hygiene, cleaning, dining, and entertainment, was well-organized. The staff were friendly and patient, and with the added bonus of the desert and starry night views, it was truly a happy trip! 👍

The hotel is in an excellent location, with convenient transportation and a pedestrian street nearby. 1 ””Shaliwa” is located in the Alxa Tengger Desert Campground. During this trip, we stayed in a 180° zero-pressure sand view bed room by the lake. It has an independent cabin and large floor-to-ceiling glass windows. It is built by the lake and has an excellent view!
2》The surrounding area of Shaliwa is full of various camping bases, but Shaliwa should be the best homestay in this area.
3》The B&B provides butler-style service. Add WeChat before check-in to provide check-in guidance. Because the B&B is located in the desert, the B&B provides free pick-up and drop-off from the B&B to the Desert Manor.
4》Desert entertainment items for tourists around the homestay: desert surfing, camel riding, karting, etc. Also, hiking alone in the desert is super cool.
4》B&B breakfast buffet, not very good, but full. For lunch and dinner, you can scan the QR code to order by yourself, and you can eat as you go until nine o'clock in the evening.
5. The B&B is located in the desert. Sunrise, sunset, and stargazing are all good, and there are stargazing classes at night.

YYoulixiaojieI stayed during the National Day holiday. They offered pick-up service from the station, and the service was quite good. They generally met all my needs as mentioned in the group chat. The room even had underfloor heating, which was fantastic! I used the air conditioning during the day and the underfloor heating at night. Showering was convenient and clean. The breakfast was plentiful, and the noodles I ordered at the restaurant for lunch (78 yuan) were a large portion, enough for a family of three, and very delicious. The 198 yuan hot pot dinner was honestly quite average; I wouldn't recommend it. The night I stayed, there was a strong desert wind, and the screws on the room's support frame were probably loose, as it rattled for most of the night. I contacted the manager at 1 am, and they responded promptly and were very helpful. I hope the hotel can fix it as soon as possible and check the other rooms, as I plan to go again next year and hope I won't encounter the same problem. Finally, I hope this place continues to improve! I hope they can add more and more activities next year, and I will definitely go again.
