Wyndham Hotels and Resorts Hotels in Zhangjiajie

This is a newly opened hotel; it wasn't even open yet when I visited last spring. Wulingyuan District isn't particularly large, and the hotel is situated right on the edge of the city center. It's not far from the trendy 'influencer street,' striking a good balance between accessibility and a quieter environment. **Room Facilities:** Everything feels genuinely new. Parking directly on Basement 1 is super convenient. The room facilities are first-class, and it was spotless. They even provided complimentary fruit and a minibar. **Location & Transport:** It's about 2 km from the East Gate, which is quite a walk if you're on foot. Thankfully, electric scooters are now available for rent along the road. **Room View:** I booked a 'scenic view' room, but honestly, there wasn't much of a special scenic view. The swimming pool occupies the three floors below, so that's what you primarily see. **Service:** There's a laundry room, which is extremely handy. The staff at the laundry room – a lady and an elderly gentleman – were very conscientious. You just need to write down your room number and specify 'wash and dry,' and your laundry is ready for pick-up by the next day at the latest. **Breakfast:** Compared to other five-star hotels, the selection was a bit limited. Many of the options were Western-style breakfast items and vegetable salads, which aren't really suited to the Chinese palate. More Chinese breakfast options would be great. What truly stood out was the staff's attentiveness. On my first day, I forgot to turn off my car headlights, and they promptly called me to remind me. That was incredibly timely and thoughtful! Highly commendable!
