Zhangjiajie Cat Theme Inn Reviews

We only stayed one night. Upon arrival, the lady welcomed us nicely, gave us clean towels and oranges to snack on. the room was very spacious and clean. It has a squat toilet. We were also provided with toothbrushes with toothpaste, shower gel and hair comb, and of course slippers and flip flops for the bathroom. The room had a view of the gondola.

We had an amazing experience at this accommodation. It is very close to the Tianmen Cable Car and the National Park to see the Avatar Mountains. Do not hesitate to stay, the hostess made us feel at home (Spain) and helped us with everything necessary to have a magnificent experience. She is amazing! Thank you for everything!

The hotel is clean and located in a good place. 5 minutes walk to the bus station to National Forest Park, 12 minutes walk to the Tianmen Mountain cable car station, and 15 minutes to the airport by taxi. The managers, young man, and beautiful lady are very friendly and helpful. If you don’t know where to go, they help plan for you. They answer your questions immediately through Wechat and help you with anything you need. They helped me with buying tickets, taking taxis, ordering food, and planning to visit different stations in visiting places. Overall, I had a good experience staying in this hotel.

The service was great, they were very helpful and helped us with booking our trips. If we had any questions, they were available within seconds via WeChat and replacing the utensils in the room was also no problem. I felt very comfortable and would book there again. 😊

Too many windows in the washroom & currently is winter so it is shivering cold when taking a bath 😅Room has kettle but doesn’t provide any drinking water 🥹. Otherwise room has warmer.

I stayed in this hotel for one night. It was perfect. The room was very good at this price! Had all the required equipment. The location was close to Tianmem mountain. The hotel managers are friendly and cooperative. In all, it was a some experience here.

The hotel is very close to the train station, not the high speed train station. If you are going to the National Park it is very close to the bus terminal to take the bus to East Gate of the national park. Room is clean but there is a step inside the platform. There is noise from the airplanes and trains at night until 12+am.

The room is very clean while the price was very good. The location is 10 minute to cableway of tianmen mountain. Most of the all, the reception was super nice and cooperative, we were a bit late to check out but she cooperated, also helped us to buy discounted ticket, also troubled her to order online food for us. Everything was great, i extremely recommend it.

The staff is so helpfull to food the travel and they can translate everything for us, And guided very well.

The bosses were the best we'd ever encountered throughout all of China. They asked us about our travel plans and then helped us plan our days. They kept in touch with us and were always ready to answer questions in WeChat to help us with any questions about anything at all, like navigation, prices, restaurants, etc. Because of these kind friends our vacation was so much better! They went well beyond what would be expected and we are forever grateful!!!

The place was really nice and affordable and in a convenient location, only a 5 minute walk from the bus station. The staff were also really lovely and helped me plan out routes around the national park. Highly recommend!

I asked the staffs if there is luggage storage service at 天門山 and they offered me to have the luggage deliver to High Train station for me instead. I first hesitated because I would lose flexibility if any change in plan. However, the staff advised that as long as I called the phone no. 30 min before I can have the luggage delivered to the station for me. Hence I left them my luggage and off to visit 天門山. I finished the sightseeing early as there are some sites were closed due to icy surfaces, so I changed my high train ticket to an earlier ETD. I called to the number I was told to call for luggage delivery but I was being told that the luggage couldn't be delivered to me. I was quite upset about it because I would need to rush back myself to get my luggage. The staff from the Inn offered to deliver my luggage to 天門山 instead and I then immediately called DiDi to go to high train station. I only had 2min left to check-in and luckily i made it just in time. The staffs from the Inn were nice but if you are looking for flexibility then probably not a great idea to use their luggage delivery service. The location is convenient, around 1km from 天門山 only. Many choices of restaurants in the nearby area. It's also within walking distance to the Bus station and Zhangjiajie train station (not the high train one). Bathroom was super cold when I entered and I only noticed the window was opened for ventilation when I entered for shower. The water was very hot and powerful although sometimes the water temperature went up and down randomly. Overall it was value for money.
